Hi all. I bought used Experia ZR. And it have problems with baseband, EMEI and WiFi. I know that losing this information on ZR is very bad, and this problem have no solution. But I have TA backup, and in my case somtimes all working good and I see EMEI and other important parametrs. So I think that my situation may be not so critical as TA fatall damage.
I have no many expirience in mobile repairing, so i hope to take some advices here. The first question is - "Would should be my first step?"
Now i have Android 4.1.2, opened bootloader, root permissions and custom recovery. I tried many firmwares, but most of them doesn't loading when EMEI lost. I also trying flash image thru PC Companion, but it doesn't take any differenсes from Flashtool.
I think that it can be problems with flash memory or hardware problems with network module, but i don't know how to check it.
What can I try in this situation?
P.S.: Sorry for my english.
P.P.S.: I accidentally mixed up forum section. I hope moderator can fix it.

I have same Problem with my Xperia Z . Unknown Baseband & IMEI. No Antenna & sim detecting. I dont have TA partition Backup also.
Hello, i have a question: do i need to worry about my IMEI while flashing a custom rom to my xperia sp? Or is it fine?
I have f***ed up my s3 by flashing a custom rom to it, it wiped my IMEI number, is this the same case for the xperia or is it only for samsung?
Thanks already!
Custom roms for XPERIA can't change your IMEI.

Ahh, thanks man!
I've lost my IMEI (*#06# blank, no signal thingie) few times after flashing a ROM some time back, but not recently though.. Probably an issue with recovery used for flashing. (I didn't see that problem in newer versions of recoveries.)
When that happened, got things back to normal by flashing a ROM ftf with flashtool. Some have reported that restoring a cwm backup would get back the imei. Anyway, it's "difficult" to erase imei in our Sony than Samsung it seems..
You can erase it very easily on samsung yeah -.-
I lost may signal , i checked *#*#4636#*#*, radio band only usa
How can i fix it
Thnks
I have exprience this issue before and the way to fix this if youre bootloader is locked and running stock rom try repair it by Sony PCC otherwise you have to flash stock ftf via flashtool
I have seen people done this before and same happened
"usa band" is the item you may never want to select otherwise this will happen and I don't think of any other ways to fix that but the 2 ways mentioned above will 100% work
Or you may just flash "Baseband" only from flashtool so you wont lose any data (I haven't try this one)

Hey, this just happened to me too. I gotta stop playing around with my phone!
Anyways, I just wanted to mention, in case this happens to anyone else, that you can flash the baseband only with flashtool, and that will restore your network.
cheers
In my case I backed up everything I needed because WiFi was still working and did a factory reset which enabled the radios again. I posted a thread here and got no answer though, that after factory resetting if the phone is in flight mode and is restarted the WiFi turns on by itself. Don't know how this glitch came up.
So I recently Rooted my LT30p and everything seemed fine until I tried to make a call today, no networking signal wherever I go and the baseband version just states - Unknown -
Any fixes out there?
I dont mind wiping my device and setting everything back to unrooted and so on.
This is my first time rooting a phone so I have generally no idea whats gone wrong :/
I used Towelroot to root my LT30p
If you need any other information, let me know please.
Thanks
Dear Mods,
I am aware that I am posting in wrong section but I haven't got any help in the Q&A section since Aug-2016

Hi Experts,
I have searched the forum and after flashing for three sleepless nights, I am still struck with the unknown baseband issue.
The details are:
C6903
BL Unlocked & now its locked using Flashtool (DRM or TA backup is unavailable )
Currently the phone is struck in boot loop in .534
Used Flashtool ver. 0.9.22.3 & 0.9.18.6
Latest EMMA & Xperia Companion
My phone hanged when listening to the music and when I force restarted the unknown baseband showed up. While flashing I got the baseband back after flashing .518 however it hanged again after two days and I lost the BB
Now I am struck in boot loops on .534 and .518 both. I can boot into .290 successfully. Can someone please guide me to the correct method of restoring my IMEI permanently.
P.S. As per my short experience with C6903, I believe something stops the boot of .534 and .518 after first boot. Means I was not able to boot into .534 but accidentally when I flashed .518, my phone booted successfully. However now I am unable to boot into .518. May be I am missing the piece of puzzle that an expert can provide.
I would really appreciate if someone can help. Thanks in advance~

Anyone...
1st you shouldn't write it here. Mods will remove it and it's more worthless work for them.
2nd have you considered that your phone might have some hw issue? You're talking about some old sw versions, so just flash .236 via emma and if you still have the issue, I would consider the device defective. And then it's better to buy a newer phone, z1 is now pretty old (considering that it's a flagship of 2013)
