There is a lot of roms in the forum for our beloved cancro. but what happaned to slim, paranoidandroid, pac roms? they havened released their mm sources yet?
Major PA employees got taken over by OnePlus. All I see on Slim's G+ page is development for Galaxy S2. I wish Slim releases.

Does anyone know of a DEV that would be willing to port and maintain Paranoid Android for the GSM variants of the HTC ONE?
It will come eventually. The device is still fairly new and considering we've got official cm 10.1, unofficial aokp PA won't be far off.

I'm just over anxious lol
P.A.C. looks promising haven't used it on a device in a while.
CM, AOKP, and P.A.C. all withing the last few days. Things are seriously moving fast so just be a little patient.
I have two devices, a TF300T and a Nexus 5. CyanogenMod has been my daily driver on all my devices since CM9, but I decided to try out OmniROM (even if to my sadness that the 4.4 builds currently lacked multi-window).
I'm blown away by how great OmniROM is. With the Franco kernel, ART, and the latest OmniROM build my Nexus 5 boots in less than 10 seconds. Everything is faster and more fluid. I don't like stock 4.4 because I can't use Quick Toggles, but OmniROM is just the right amount of customization for my purposes.
Now, about that Multi-Window
(kidding, I know it's on the way)
I was wondering why dont we have any interested developer to maintain AOSiP or Nitrogen? I used it in my RN3P and found these 2 ROM's to be exceptional. Now I have switched to Mi5 and as far as I've seen we have very few maintainers compared to RN3P....
Maybe you did not saw it, but I maintained Nitrogen for Mi5 till a few weeks ago.
The problem is that Nitrogen has dropped CAF support. Maybe you can take a look at Dirty Unicorns, its a really nice rom and has a lot of the settings Nitrogen also offers.
BTW: AOSiP is in the works afaik.

Apologies as I didnt see it. Now I screened through the threads and found it and saw you've dropped it after 27Mar build. As far as AOSiP...thats great news. Currently on AOSP Extended and looking forward to AOSiP. That was the last ROM I was using on my RN3P and quite frankly the best CAF ROM I've experienced on that device with a plethora of necessary features (An Ain1 tbh). My wife forcefully snatched it from me after seeing that performance and gave me her Mi5.
Anyways...thanks for taking the time and replying. Eagerly waiting for AOSiP
@33bca I was just curious...do u have any idea about the progress of AOSiP? Not asking for ETA but was very curious to know....
i'm not him but he said on 2nd wave, so i guess 2 weeks since AOSiP release

I don't mean to offend any developer with my questions
-Why after a year from the release of this phone
There are few roms (mostly unofficial) with more or less the same bugs?
-Why there Is no official support for the most famous roms? (lineageOS, crDroid, pixel experience)
- why some Devs moved to Telegram?
-what are the difficulties that the developers have encountered with this phone?
The pe Dev said it will be official soon

I dont have this phone yet. I have a Mi8.
But here is my guess.
They probably dont have full access to source code yet
They are young, but able students so their time is limited.
A lot of the users are highly entitled and dont appreciate their hard work and rarely if ever, make a donation to them so why bother.
Rock Star developers from the past are burned out on making roms, and too busy with professional life projects.
As I mentioned I am considering this phone, and do not know anyone her yet. Hopefully the best developers stick around and build a legacy and loyal/supportive followers.
If you have not tried Xiaomi.EU its pretty fantastic, It's like a much more westernised version of Miui with the most annoying bloat and adware completely removed.
@tsongming has a great point and I'll add that for android 10 there are at least these:
LineageOS 17.1 Unofficial
Evolution-X 4.0 Unofficial
Havoc
Extended UI based
Derpfest
Bootleggers
Paranoid Android Quartz
Pixel experience
and also all the miui variants
As the name says, it's custom, 3rd party, there's no obligation for anyone to make it. Developers make what they want to make. Especially since it's not a paid work, it's totally their choice. Just appreciate that there are some available and give donation if you use them.

The customs that are avaiable, unofficial or not almost all use the same source... thats why they have basicly all the same bugs.
But why they moved to telegram? some off them are fed up with people complaining, although its free off charge and they all do it in spare time. I dont know iff this is the case for majority but for some this is the case.
But i also regret its moved to telegram
But the source code is released only lately so now devs can build better, more stable roms..
Keep in mind i am not a dev off any roms provided above
So back in my Skyrocket and G2 days I was a fan of AOKP but I haven't flashed a custom ROM in years. I also remember SlimRom being a thing, Paranoid, straight CM etc. Got my N5 inbound and am looking for a minimalist Kitkat/Marshmallow based ROM to run de-Googled but it's kinda tough sorting through threads which had their last active post 5 years ago when everyone made the jump to 7.0 and beyond just for the sake of being the latest and the greatest bleeding edge hotness. Is there a definitive "Here's the last and greatest 6.x build. Here's the latest and greatest 7.x build. Here's the latest and greatest 8.x build" repository?
