Today I received my new LG urban2 LTE, I have for a variety of reasons (clumsy), need to factory reset the clock.
In the usual LG Urban, there was the "Factory Reset" under "Settings"
but it does not in Urban second
Some ideas RESETT
Under settings look for "Unpair with Phone". That will give a screen that says are you sure this will perform a factory rest.

I was having some serious wifi issues even after I tried the old forget connection and reconnect trick. So I did a factory reset through the Quick Boot app. I selected the "Recovery" option in Quick Boot and my KF HD booted into the factory menu (ADB menu maybe?) with two options "Reboot Kindle" or "Reset to factory settings" (not sure what they are exactly called). I did the factory reset option and after reboot, the lock screen offers were gone - just random wallpapers. I can't even find the option for offers under the Amazon carousel. Not sure how it happened.
The offers gone happened with both wifi on and wifi off - previously, the offer was always there regardless of wifi connectivity.
The only thing I can think is I have ADW EX launcher in the /system/app folder (I'm rooted of course) so maybe the factory reset with ADW in there by-passed the Offers somehow?
Anybody know more of Android than I do care to chime in?
On the plus side, my wifi problems seem to be fixed (maybe had an app conflicting with something?)!
Whenever I first got my kindle I didn't have any ads for the first day. I got them approx 24 hours after. We'll see if you have then!
Still nothing yet

what I found is upon menu boot up the android robot falls and reports "No Command" and flashes "Error". Then when selecting wipe cache partition, the robot falls and reports "Error" then automatically reboots. its MF3 ...
also it losing signal sometimes....this phone is brand new out of the box..... all what i did rooted it with AR.apk for few days and then unrooted it with SUsuper unroot option. so i tried to do wipe after that, and found out my issue ....i did four time factory reset but i still feel the phone laggy, especially when i open the browser sometimes take a minute to load the page or gives me "page cannot display" so i have to refresh the page every time...
BTW i have a good signal 4G LTE and have no issue with my other phone HTC one

Did you ever resolve this?
Hello, everyone! I'm getting a real bad Idle battery drain on my note 5. I want to do a factory reset and see if that solves it. I wanted to know if the factory reset will also format my music, pictures and such other data.
Anyone?
Yes, it will. Back everything up before you factory reset.
So I got an S7 edge and I have to send the phone back since it was thru the AT&T next plan, however when I go to do the factory reset thru settings > backup and reset it after clicking thru the dialogs to reset and erase all data it goes to a another dialog that simply says new password on the top with a field and a number pad. I've tried searching online and can't find anyone referencing this, I went and verified the reactivation lock wasn't on thinking that may have had something to do with it but it was off, I was able to do a factory reset just fine shutting down the phone loading into the boot menu and resetting it from there, but the new password dialog was concerning me that something weird was up and I wanted to make sure the phone was good to send back.
Hi.
I just saw Android Wear 2.0 came out for the Urbane so I thought factory resetting my watch is going to help me find the update, now I can't connect my watch to my phone.
I paired it,everything is ok on the Phone (it sees the watch and everything works) but i'm stuck on the " Syncing " white screen on the watch..
I reseted the watch 3 times,nothing works..
What's wrong? I don't want to factory reset my phone....

Factory reset your watch, also forget watch on the phone, power cycle bluetooth too on the phone, clear data for android wear app on the phone, also clear cache for google service framework. Hopefully it will work.
