Hello, I have the same problem, and now in its variant :
- the sgs reboots when activating bluetooth, with bluetooth off
- it looks like no way to activate bluetooth without provoking smartphone reboot
Does cm update fix this problem ?
Other suggestion ?

You should ask this problem in the development forum of your CM version and/or kernel version. They may be able to help you more e.g. by asking for specific logcat data from the time of your reboot.
Other than that, I'd say there is something fishy with your kernel. Did you try to use stock kernels? Or the latest CM10 of Ivendor? People are having less and less problems with that.
Hi guys
At first, thanks for the ROM, is really good, saved my phone from the old stock updated Samsung ROM.
But the WIFI doesn't connect whit nothing - I'm not talking about WIFI DIRECT, but WIFI LAN and INTERNET -. It appears that the phone is connecting whit the router, but after a second it stop trying to connect, and shows me that the lan is "Saved, secure by WPA/WPA2". It's work whit all the WIFI LANS i had tried to connect. May be something in the RADIO setings?
PS¹.: The Google Play doesn't connect too, even in a good sinal of 3G.
PS².: Sorry if someonse have already talked about this problem in this forum.
PS³.: I am brazilian, so, this phone is the brazilian model (4GB Memory), and I live in Brazil (if it's important for the network settings).
Did you try it to restart your modem?
Sure, several times.
I had tried too reinstall the ROM, several times.
I had intalled the Omni 4.4 ROM too, but doesn't work, the same problem. But in this last, the Google Play had worked.
Edit¹: I tryed to connect in diferents WiFi Lans: protected, open, Hot-spot.
Edit²: Updating: I install CM 11 Maclaw Rom, and the same happens: no conection whit the Google Play, and no connection whit any WiFi Lan.

When i was whit the stock ROM (what indeed wasn't the stock ROM, because i had updated to Android 4 by ODIN, using a Portuguese ROM, because the Brazilian ROM wasn't ok yet), it was working ok.
Maybe that ROM has a data bug

Yeah, several times. Each time i tried to reinstall, or install another ROM, i did this.
Updating: Now i've back to 4.1.2 Samsung ROM and the Wi-fi is working ok.
So, whit a Samsung Touchwiz the device works, but when i put a cyanogenmod, no way. Any hint of why this ****ying thing happens?
CM all roms r buggy sheet -_- use harshjelly stable rom or slimbean :good:
it happends sometimes.
usually simple phone reboot or enable / disable ariplane mode helps
sometimes after reboot you are stuck with "enabling wifi" ... that actually never enables it
in such case I enable ariplane mode, remove enable wifi widget from home screen, reboot phone while still in airplane mode.
when phone boots it will not ask for pin to sim card as it is still in airplane mode.
disable airplane mode
enter pin to get into sim card
enable wifi manually
it works from now on (untill gets bugged again ) same procedure to fix it.
I also have this enabling Wifi problem sometimes with the new 01.04.14 CM 10.2 Build. Is this Bug new or did it also happen on older builds? On Stock Rom I have no problem.
I can fix it like th3cr0w explained. Sometimes waiting one or two minutes solves the problem, too.

Unplug and Power on your phone together by vol down + power button. AFAIK,only if you plug in and press vol down, you will go into software mode.

there's a solution that worked for me when I had my LG p990 and it happens the same issue that you are experiencing
1. Connect phone by USB
2. Enter 3845#*880# in dialer
3. Select Port Settings -> Select CP USB
4. Start hyperterminal, in COM settings select same port like in devide manager -> LGE mobile USB Serial Port, 115200
5. Type AT if response is not OK, change port number
6. Type at%imei, it should display your current IMEI
7. Type at%imei=x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x,x , where x,x,x... is your orginal IMEI number
8. Reset
only works on stock based rom, maybe you should try, you need a pc with hyperterimal

Could be hardware fault? Since when did this start happening?
By any chance before flashing a custom rom did you turn button backlight off? If so, flash a stock/based rom, turn them on and flash your custom rom.
At least this solved for me 2 days ago which happened for the first time.

Thanks for the tip but no unfourtnately i didnt - i saw a topic after i posted that there are problems on some phones with these rom/recovery. :crying:
I posted this in the TWRP recovery topic:
I was on the CM11 rom and it is the same with any rom based on anything other than stock rom.
They blink a couple of times in the recovery and don't work at all in recovery but there are softkeys. In the rom/system it will take 30 seconds to a minute to work and they will blink until they work randomly.
I got it to work by flashing everything stock again (i had a wrong stock rom i think).
After i flash the TWRP or any other recovery the buttons will act weird and take about 30 seconds to a minute to work in the stock rom or any other stock based rom.
The buttons don't work in any other nonstock based rom on my I8190N.
Is there a fix to this?

There are a lot of other threads talking about this this problem is known, and there's no solution yet (we have to wait for official twrp support). The only solution for now is to reflash original recovery.img and get back to stock recovery

that shows only when you booting into recovery. the only way is to flash stock recovery
Oh, well, it's good to know I'm not the only one with this issue.
However, why should I flash stock recovery? I mean, there are no further issues, the phone still charges while in this state, and I can reboot it with my PC. There is one thing I'm worried about;
What if I turn off USB debugging? If I would end up in the "stuck recovery" after I have done so, would I be unable to get out?
And also, I think there is a possible fix.. Wouldn't it be possible to reboot the phone by just pulling out the battery and turning the phone back on? Yes I know, "battery is not removable" but I'm pretty sure it is, it always is. It's not going to be easy tho.

i don't see why you have to switch off your phone. theres a lot of options in stock rom like "do not disturb", "airplane mode" etc so you don't have to switch off.
It seems this problem happens when you reboot your phone while charging ( i never had problems) try to avoid that.
ps - i never switch off my phone and only reboot it if needed or maybe once a month. But thats me.

I never turn my phone off, but sometimes I can't charge my phone in time and the battery runs dry. See? I can't reboot at 0%, so I have to charge it a little. Now you could tell me that it still isn't a problem, since the phone still charges in recovery and I can use commands to reboot system.. sure, but I'm working on a way to prevent anyone from entering recovery or using adb-debugging or hard resetting my phone (from a distance, if phone is stolen). This would turn off adb-debugging, causing the phone to be stuck in recovery for ever, if it were to charge in off mode. I guess I'm the only one having a problem with the bug

I'm using the Honor 7 with TWRP 3.0.2.0by paulobrien and Unofficial CM13 by papsi177 and having the same issue.
When charging while the device is turned off, it automatically boots into twrp. Does anyone have a solution? Are there other recoveries (except the stock recovery) which doesn't have this problem? Is it somehow possible to modify e.g. a file to have a nice charging animation instead?
It isn't that big issue, but it would be nice to solve this anyway...

I found that users phones and recovery gets different reactions.
When i tried cm12 i had that same "issue" but with cm13 i had the battery animation. Same thing with getting phone freeze when battery run out.
The best chance is to try different recovery versions and hope for the best.
That said, i only switch off phone when battery died on me.
