Latest twrp link? - Xiaomi Mi 5 Questions & Answers

Hello guys, I just wanted to ask if you guys can share a link for the latest twrp for our MI 5? I'm still on 3.0.0 with touch issues.
And btw can I use flashify to upgrade my twrp? Anyone of you tried it?

For touch issues there is a "solution": wait until the screen goes off, wait another 2-3 minutes, than turn on the screen and touch should works

Official CWM available from Rom Manager!!!!!

It looks like the official release of ClockworkMod has been released. I am now running 6.0.0.6. Just wanted to pass this along.

Thanks!
thanks...the tablet ui is working great...backups are crazy fast
rom manager makes it easier to reflash and then reboot to recovery if you're on stock where recovery is written over
Is the anywhere I can download the latest version?

Do you have Rom Manager? If not you can download it from the Play Store. Inside of Rom Manager there is an option to flash the latest CWM recovery.
@OP...now that we have the official version can you boot into recovery using the bootloader screen (button style) or does it still have to be plugged in via usb? I just hope we can use the buttons now instead of an app or usb method.
You can download it from here
http://clockworkmod.com/rommanager
Just look for nexus 7.

i am also unable to boot into recovery from bootloader.
How do you flash back to stock recovery?
EDIT: I see Tookit 1.52 has the ability to reflash recovery, but does it include the stock one?
Do the OTA work if using CWM recovery?
Thanks,
-CC

hmm thanks. I wonder why its still not available through the bootloader screen? I thought for sure the 'official' version would allow this method. Oh well, I guess we need to use the app or usb method until this is resolved.

[Q] Has anyone successfully Restored a backup using CWM on Xperia Z1

Does a restore work on the Z1, if so please let me know how to do this? thanks in advance
Boot into CWM and hit restore..?
Whats the issue ?
Saw your other thread, why create duplicate? Either way, I'm gonna test myself.

Thank you for your kind response. I have a rooted .257 firmware with dual recovery installed. I can create a backup using both recoveries but when i try to restore a backup it fails and my phone gets stuck on the sony logo. I had to reflash about 4 times now so im wondering whether the dual recovery actually works

TWRP 3.0.0-1 question

I usually flash images via my PC, which is currently down. Has anyone had experiences with image flashing in twrp? Stable? Any major problems I should be aware of?
Thanks

The new version of TWRP 3.0.0.1 is able to flash img-files. But every IMG I have flashed was/is available as flashable zip-file.
For N6 you could look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3059493

Thanks I'll give it a read. I've been wanting to try N and being there are no flashable zips available yet through twrp I was considering flashing system and boot via twrp. Would it work?

I've not tried that myself. I would not try flashing N beta, as long there is no PC available to solve issues.
Better ask in this thread.

Flash TWRP Black screen

Hi peeps.
I tried to flash twrp into my op3, but after reboot just appeared a black screen.
I was in CM13 before and recently came to Oxygen 3.5.2
Someone know something about that, maybe if I do all wipe.

oops.. ok do this.. flash that modified twrp again using tool in one app.. then you will get twrp modified one back it will be back since your on 3.5.2... after you got twrp already flash oos 3.2.4 or 3.2.2 using that twrp.. make sure clean flash and then before reboot system.. flash that offcial twrp and then boot system. Once complete and you can start flash cm13 already.
Hope it works, Cheers!
