HOW TO INSTALL:
Device with ROOT:
- Copy the apk in your phone
- Install it from the archive manually
- Expects that the application is installed
- Using RootExplorer or similar enters in data/overlays/ and delete the folder "preferences"
- Then in data/overlays/jsonfiles/trialjson cuts the bobcat.xxx.json file
** and paste it in data/overlays/jsonfiles /userjson
- restart
- Go to the Theme Store Samsung and apply
- done
Device without ROOT:
ATTENTION
Repeat the procedure every time you restart your phone...with the new firmware that does not work properly
- Download from the Play "Package Disabler Pro (Samsung)"

For a new theme,
open "Package Disabler Pro Samsung" and unlock:
- Apply the theme in Trial version
- Reboot
- Open Package Disabler Pro
- Search for "Theme" delete cache and data and block:
1. com.samsung.android.themestore
2. com.samsung.android.themecenter
- repeat the procedure
method 2 (thx GOLFOS)
to block themes without external applications
1. Go to "Settings/About phone/Software information" 7 Click on "Build number" and activate "Developer options".
2. Apply the theme in Trial version
3. Go to "Developer options/Running services" click on "Themes" and do STOP and OK
Do not open the "Wallpapers and Themes" menu will remain locked until next reboot.

I have an idea for a new theme...
Do you remember 3 or 4 years ago when the "Trueicon" theme was being used by a lot of people here in XDA???
It would be really nice if you can create a theme with all the colorful large icons and other theme parts from the
trueicon theme.
Remember a few years ago when you created the bobcat theme for the note 3 and note 4?
That theme used either the same or very similar icons throughout the phone in almost every screen like
the dialer, phone, contacts, settings, messages, email, incallui and the toggles, status bar and even the
keyboard plus almost all the popup and dialogue boxes.
The current home screen in the new Bobcat theme has some of those fancy icons in the home screen's dock and a
few in the app drawer but it's not like it used to be a few years ago when those fancy trueicon's were also displayed
in settings, toggles, phone, contacts, incallui, messages and the theme even had fancy colorful status bar icons too
which also matched the rest of the note 3 and note 4's Bobcat Theme from the trueicons.
That's what I would love to see again in your new bobcat themes.
The closest Bobcat theme right now which looks just a little bit similar to the trueicon theme is the Bobcat Digital Blue theme
but it's missing most all of the trueicon colorful icons.
The trueicon theme stopped working when Samsung changed from the good old PNG's to QMG's throughout the phone.

This is my first theme for MIUI or any other ROM. This theme is based off from the official Dark Theme by MIUI.COM. I just extended it's usability by change all orange to blue as well as my own mods/creation to improve it's usability.

Latest theme mod/creation from the official Black MIUI Theme. I just ported some of the previous stuff I had as well as new stuff created for it (mostly just overall UI Experience) in theme into the latest Black MIUI theme since it SO SEXY!!!!
Most of the framework buttons are blue, this is done via draw9patch tool in the SDK to draw the expandable areas of the buttons and compiled via Eclipse.

Version 3.6
After MANY MANY HOURS. I am sad to say that it is impossible to theme the Message Pop-up. This is due to the color style reference used by that activity is hard coded to @color/black. Unless MIUI.COM changes this xml property to maybe dlg_bright_foreground_dark (Dialog Primary Text Color) then it works. At this point of time, do not use the sms pop-up until this is resolve.
I am however, releasing version 3.6 with some fixes that makes the theme a bit more usable.

Selection of option for default settings is now fixed (thanks to sense!)

Scroll overlay text now it's blue
Dropdown list is now usable as I have changed it to dark grey. The reason for this change is that it shares the same color style as the text in the input box. So both are of the same color now. Usable still

VERSION 4 FINAL
This marks the last update for this theme. This theme have reached it's age, as MIUI have also changed their layout and fixed alot of stuff in terms of usability.
Updates includes some stuff to align with the changes to the dark variant (toggles, lockscreen, etc).
Icons is the Signa. All credits goes to Kowalski & Signa Team.
Unlock screen credits to wez89. All I did was inverted the png of the lock icon.

EDIT: I've just installed it and I must say waow! Only thing is that on the lockscreen, although there are no icons, if I press left or right to the clock it does go the the dialer or sms view and I like it this way, it's more minimalist. Very neat.

yes you can, you have decompile the apks and copy out the png for the icons, then place it under the icons folder in the mtz file. The name of the icon should be exactly the same (case sensitive) as the process name of the app. e.g com.android.calendar.png

Hello all,
I present to you my Material Design/Dark theme for the S6. Material Design is meant to mimic the stock Google ROMs where available, and the official GApps elsewhere. Material Dark is my spin on a dark version of AOSP. NOTE: The Dark theme is bound to have a few colors broken as there are no strings to theme some of the items. Blame Samsung, not me
Updates will be pretty slow on this theme now that I have been accepted as a Samsung Theme Designer. These themes will be avaialbe in the Theme Store soon!
What is required for this theme to work:
-Root
-The ability to install the Urban theme, whether through the Samsung Theme Store or sideloading the APKs
-FlashFire (or a root file manager to manually copy files and change permissions) or TWRP

Instructions:
Make sure you are using FlashFire to install this, not Flashify. The FlashFire thread can be found here. You can also flash with TWRP, or install manually as well if you'd like.
To use the theme, all you need to do is have the Urban theme installed before you flash this. You can find Urban in the Theme Store by finding any themes by SIDI (they also have the Pink Theme, Desert, and Anime), then clicking the More button next to "Themes by SIDI" at the bottom of the description. Alternatively, you can manually install the APKs found in this thread using the instructions found there.
1. Make sure you have the Urban theme installed and applied first!!!
2. Flash either Material Design or Material Dark using FlashFire or TWRP.
If there is a certain app you don't want themed, edit /data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/br.org.sidi.Urban.json and remove the line for that application (for example, if you don't want the keyboard themed, remove line 22 that says "br.org.sidi.Urban.inputmethod",). Then delete the corresponding folder from /data/app/.
The Material Design Icons ZIP file just contains the individual icons if anyone wants them. It is not a flashable ZIP.
Upgrades can simply be flashed over existing versions of my theme. If something doesn't go right afterwards, refer to the Troubleshooting section below.
Troubleshooting:
If you run into issues with this theme not applying properly, please uninstall it from the Theme app and choose the default theme. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ANOTHER THEME APPLIED BEFORE DELETING ANY FILES. Then, using a file browser with root access, remove any of the following left on your phone:
all of the folders in /data/app/ begining with br.org.sidi.Urban
/data/overlays/font/br.org.sidi.Urban0
/data/overlays/preview/br.org.sidi.Urban
/data/overlays/lockwallpaper/br_org_sidi_Urban_wallpaper.png
/data/overlays/jsonfiles/userjson/br.org.sidi.Urban.json
Reboot after deleting these files. Then re-download Urban using the Theme Store and apply the theme. Make sure the regular Urban theme is working on your phone, then flash the ZIP.

I'm planning to next, it's just difficult to hack and splice the current themes that are available. I'd prefer to wait until the full tool is available as it looks so much easier and cleaner with it.

I'm planning to next, it's just difficult to hack and splice the current themes that are available. I'd prefer to wait until the full tool is available as it looks so much easier and cleaner with it.

Yeah they promised it by the end of April... It is now mid-May.. I'm kinda disappointed in that. Idk if the theme tool will ever be "publicly available" like they promised. I think you hafta go on their theme tool website and apply to be a "partner" with them (Samsung).

I've spent quite a few hours trying to make my own theme to share for the GS6 and was never able to recompile the apk with different xml overrides.

I am able to recompile the APKs without breaking them (sorta). The signature gets changed so they aren't user-installable, but placing them in the proper folders and setting the right permissions allows them to work.
I will add a post on how to recompile them when I get some time.

You have to apply to the Samsung website to get the tools, they will not be released publicly it seems. But that's how you can gain access for now.

agreed...this is the only usable theme so far (other than Urban) because it has some nice dark colors. thankfully the image is not in your face noticeable.
Here is a quick file I threw together to make the BMW theme have a white background. I make no promises that everything is themed properly as I don't use this one

Yep, in combination with Nova Launcher (so I don't have to see the ugly icons), I really like the BMW i8 Theme the most.

Theme based on Material Design
Only supports roms with CM12 Theme Engine.
Everybody know the new Design language by Google: Material Design. But everybody also know that not all the apps have been updated to follow the Material Design guidelines, and that some apps don't implement them in the best way. (Including Google apps).
That's why I created this theme. This theme aims to provide Material Design to those apps that doesn't implement it yet. Or improve some apps UI, to get a better implementation of Material Design in them.

The theme has a dashboard app with these questions, anyways, I will post them here.
1. What are the requeriments?
A custom rom with CM12 Theme Engine and Root Access.
2. How can I get a Custom Rom with this Theme Engine?
Check here in XDA, in the respective forum for your device.
3. The theme looks kind of familiar, have you stolen it?
What? No! Check the disclaimer for respective info.
4. How many people are involved in the design and development of the theme and its app?
Just one person: Jahir Fiquitiva.
5. I don't like the included sounds.
You can disable them in the theme engine settings. I'm not good choosing sounds and I can't make everybody happy. I always do my best.
6. Why the theme doesn't modify status bar icons?
The theme aims to improve the Material Design. Not redesign the UI completely.
7. Why the theme doesn't include icon pack?
I'm working on an icon pack, that I think could be good enough to use along with my theme. Its name is Ertz. Stay tuned!
8. Why not all the apps have been modified?
Some apps already have Material Design, I will touch colors and/or icons only if I consider it necessary. Some others doesn't have it, but I can't make them completely Material Design. I always do my best with each one.
9. Theme has some issues.

11. There are missing icons in Settings.

12. Why the theme is free?

Whenever I consider is needed, or if there's enough new stuff to add.

Not for now. And nobody is allowed to do it. If someone does it, will be reported.
16. Do you plan making a dark version?
It's in my plans but may take months. I currently have 4 more projects, so time is really limited.
17. Do you take suggestions? If so, how may I suggest them?
Yes, send me an email. Just be respectful when doing it.
18. What custom roms, besides CM, is this theme compatible with?
As far as I know: AOSiP, AICP, Dirty Unicorns, Pacman, LiquidSmooth, and EOS. Maybe more. If you have other roms, test, and if you find issues, contact me.
19. Some listed apps are not Material Design yet.
Some apps are really hard to make them Material Design. Some crash when trying to do it, so I can't do so much there.
20. Wall? Widget? Icons?
Wall: from Frames - Wallpapers Pack.
Widget: Flaterial for Zooper Pro.
Icons: Ertz, KMZ, Moonshine, Unico, Glim, Polycons and Candycons are my favs.

22. How can I get the version with WhatsApp default emojis?
You can download it from the app, please notice that that version only include overlays, that means apps themes. So if you want wallpapers, fonts, sounds and bootanimation, you should stay with the original theme too. Also notice that you will have to download every update manually. To apply it, go to the 'Style' tab in the Theme Engine settings, because it won't appear as a full Theme Pack.

Nope. That's a CM theme engine dependency. However, RRO Layers allows this... *cough cough*
This is the best theme I've ever instlaled, beginnning with CM9. The icons alone are a sight to behoold but the entire theme is just beautiful. Thank you, please keep it free!

Material theme for ZenFone 2 (Light and Dark)
Since the new themes app update, third party themes support is back. However, it looks like third party themes cannot theme apps and system ui... Can anyone confirm this? To fully apply the theme, you need a firmware inferior to 2.20.40.156.
Get the stock Android experience on your ZenFone.
Apply the theme to change:
- Lock screen shortcuts
- Quick settings panel
- Status bar icons
- Settings app (Light only)
- Dialer and Contacts app (To enable the dark theme, tap the 3 dots menu (on the dialpad)→Settings→Custom Settings→Theme→Dark Theme)
- Messaging app (To enable the dark theme, tap the 3 dots menu→Settings→Customize→Dark Theme)
- Music app (To enable the dark theme, tap the 3 dots menu→Settings→Theme color→Dark Theme)
Make sure you set the Asus keyboard theme to "Material" and that you reset all themed apps to their default accent color.
You may need to restart your device for the changes to take effect.

I think the work you created is fine but apart from that if you like keep supporting old One Ui users and new updated ones (3.1 or 4 soon) I think you better category them by OS (I mean 2 variant from this work and if you think this will help other people that has updated OS and others has old OS).

I think the work you created is fine but apart from that if you like keep supporting old One Ui users and new updated ones (3.1 or 4 soon) I think you better category them by OS (I mean 2 variant from this work and if you think this will help other people that has updated OS and others has old OS).

Ok....if you want someone test one of your themes (I'm not advanced user) I will test S1 for One Ui 3.1 if you get your hand on new update or new phone , unlike other people I don't want force you to break your phone by root or buying new phone so don't worry about themes so for now provide support for people that have One UI 2.5 .
Stay safe and I hope see more accurate phones (themes) from you for Samsung .

I guess this themes are meant for rooted users if my guess is correct , please don't be sad if my phone is not rooted and I only do my customization with Samsung theme park and other apps and I'm not advanced user that much but my anti virus saw apk as virus but I installed and didn't break my phone (I know you updated them) and I think with Android 12 my customization will much better if Samsung give me more options but anyway I hope this themes will help advanced users .

You're partially right, in fact root allow you to apply theme forever but you don't need root to test it.
You are not rooted so when you apply a theme it will work only for 10 minutes.
To install one, you can refer to my second post.
I know some people like you aren't rooted so maybe I'll make all these themes HEXED compatible one day.
If you don't know what is HEXED :
- Hex App
- How to install a HEXED Theme (example)
HEXED Theme installation needs 2 files :
- a Theme that is used as base (.apk)
- an Icon Pack (.apk) used to apply the whole Theme forever
I hope I'm clear since you're not advanced user.
