Also Ive tried 3 third-party dialer apps which work perfectly except for the logs which dont appear.

Same issue over here too.
Solution:
1: sign out from Mi account.
2: Use 3rd party dialer and contacts app like Google defaults from playstore.

I later found out through miui forum that my device came with a fake ROM that was causing such bugs. Flashing official one fixed this.

HOW TO GIVE PERMISSION OF CALL_PRIVILEGED???

Google Playstore v 3.7.11 (Stripped from Jelly Bean 4.1)

Well, I just updated my Google Playstore app to v 3.7.11. So far, nothing significant changes had been done. Maybe because of my location right now. So, I'm not sure about others.
Anyway, here's the link for the app:

How is it possible to tell if the install worked? I have run the apk, and it says it installed sucessfully, but there I cant really see any difference.
Do I have to put the apk file in a specific location or just run the install?

You can check the version at setting menu in Play Store.
Same as mine. Almost non changes except in Editor's choices UI..
Maybe because of region support. Some will receive like the 3rd post one.

it is actually wired. could anyone here provide us with a link or a way to do it? I have the launcher on my note pro 12.1 and it makes my live easier. So, I need it for my note 3 as well because it makes the device run smoother.
Please Help us guys if anyone run into the same problem and have the solution just let us know.
The parsing error is usually caused by an app that is made for a newer version of Android. If you are on 4.3 try a version of the app that is older than the 1.0.9xxxx. Look for one that is .9.xxxx. If you are on 4.4 I am not sure what to tell you. Good luck!
This version worked for me on 4.3 nb4 version.
I had to install it twice.

[Q] Google Play Services is malfunctioning w / Elegancia ROM

Hi Everyone,
I have had the Elegancia ROM installed onto a HTC Velocity (Telstra) phone for about six months. Most features of the phone have been working smoothly, however recently there have been issues with the 'Google Play Services' (as shown below - unfortunately some of the message is cut off).

}
I 'successfully' updated the Google Play Service through the Play Store; here I have put successfully in inverted commas as whilst the install from the Play Store went fine, it ultimately had no affect and the error message kept appearing.
After trying to fix this through the Play Store I followed the steps below -
1). Went into Settings > Apps
2). Found the Google Play Service App
3). Cleared the cache for this App
4) Uninstalled the App
5). Rebooted
6). Downloaded the newest version of the APK from APK Mirror
7). Installed the downloaded APK
8). Rebooted the phone
Not only did the above procedure not improve the situation, but now when I click on error messages related to the Google Play Service I am ultimately presented with the message below -
If you have seen this issue before and know how to fix it can you please share with me? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Davo
Had the very same problem. Am now running PAC 4.4.4 (current nightly build) and it is no longer a problem. I think ICS is just about obsolete.
Sent from my HTC Vivid 4G using XDA Free mobile app
I read somewhere that flashing the most recent gapps for ICS from recovery may fix the issue. I haven't tried it as I've given up on ICS in favor of kitkat.

Hi, were you able to solve this? I really want to install YouTube Vanced app since I've been using it for a while on my Samsung phone. Upgraded to Xiaomi and faced this issue. I cannot install the app because of the MiUi Optimization. I cannot disable this feature because there's no option in developer options. I cannot enable this option because of the same issue you have here.
I'm going in circles (((

After C19 update I can't update Google play system. And the option to hide quick glance is not available anymore.
I tried the color os assistant, but it cannot be installed.
Is there a solution for those ?

Quick glance? As in "at a glance" feature?
