Hi!
I have an lg g watch r, the device works with LeeDroid Urban Port ROM. I would have liked put on the device another rom but i can't connect the device to my computer. I have tried everything what i read in the xda forum that i would solve this problem.Nothing helped. The debugging mode is enabled in this device and adb mode is working, windows 10 op.system runs in my computer and newest google drivers are on it. Everything is ready that two device will connect. When i connect the device to the usb cable, nothing happened.
I think that the lg g watch r dock is wrong altough the dock charges the lg g watch r.
Please help me.
Thanks
Hi!
I carried my watch in the LG central service. I said the assistant that the watch was working, i can pair it with the phone, almost everything was good except i can't pair it with the computer. The computer can't see the watch.
The assistant said that the mainboard of the watch was wrong, despite of he didn't investigate the watch, because i used LeeDroid rom it messed up the watch.
Is it possible?

For all who cannot connect G Watch R to phones, here is my guide to help:
1. Reset your android wear device.
------------------------------------------------------
2. When prompted, USE ANDROID WEAR(not bluetooth menu) to connect the Android device to your watch.
------------------------------------------------------
3. Make sure to say yes to the connection if it is indeed your two devices.
------------------------------------------------------
4. Boom, and whenever they cannot connect again or you get a new phone, repeat these steps.
Hope this helps the many of users having problems.(Included me at first) Please give me thanks if this helped you. Glad to help!

Hi,
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A from AT&T. For some reason, the device does not charge, neither does the computer recognise it is connected for data transfer. At first, i thought it might have been the port, so i tried another port flex from a similar device which works fine. However, when i changed the flex, the issue still existed. I just thought of trying download mode to see if re-installing the OS will work. The computer did recognise the device as soon as it was connected in download mode. I was able to do the install, but the problem still exists. A friend of mine has an HDMI cable to connect his phone to the TV, so i decided "hey, lemme try it" and surprisingly, IT WORKED. The tv was able to read the phone and everything displayed fine on the TV. However, the cable also has a charge function which did not charge my phone. So i am stuck with usinging an external battery charger for my device. Has anyone encountered this issue with the S5 or any other Galaxy phone? Any solution ideas?

So I was happy remaining on stock with my watch until a number of things happened: I flashed stock lollipop on my note 3, expecting a few things to break with android wear, and sure enough, the watch has problems reconnecting to the phone after it has been out of range for a few minutes (fixed only by restarting the phone). This annoyed me, but there was no going back on my note 3. So I thought to hell with it .... I'll root the watch and flash the urbane port, which should give me wifi, maybe that will help.
I haven't had to use adb in 5 years, so I'm a bit rusty, and android sdk kind of scares me now.
But I marched on. I got hold of the google usb drivers and got my watch detected. Or at least so I thought. I downloaded "fastboot+adb.zip" from somewhere so as to avoid messing with the full sdk, and tried "adb devices". Device detected, but "offline". Every guide I read mentioned that when the watch is plugged in after the drivers are installed, the phone should prompt you to enable wear debugging. That never happened. And I've removed the drivers and reinstalled them countless times now (but I don't see why the driver pack from android sdk website wouldn't work). The watch is listed as "Android Composite ADB Interface" in Device Manager. Oh, and I'm running windows 8.1
ANY help at all would be greatly appreciated. I realize this is extra noobish but I'm just out of practice, honest. And I'm kind of suspecting that the watch just isn't playing nice with the note 3's new lollipop. In which case I'm kind of screwed.
Had the same strange problem, took it to the service centre and they changed the logic board. When you connect it to the computer via usb does it recognise it as watch or unknown device ?
Hi guys,
Wondering if anyone can help me. I cannot get my watch to connect to the PC. Windows doesnt even list it as a device or there is no sound for new hardware connected. The watch just charges. I have used the same cradle and cable on my brothers G-Watch R and it works fine. Any reason why my urbane wont connect? I want to unlock bootloader but I cant
I had the same issue , connected the watch and it just charged
It wasn't until I started minimum ADB fastboot I got asked to authorize usb debuging then everything worked
Thanks for your reply. Have tried that but still nothing. The computer just does not see it
Have you enabled "ADB-Debugging" (Developer Options). If you haven't your watch will not be recognized. If you have enabled ADB-Debugging try a differen USB cable.
Yep debugging is enabled. Have tried 2 different docks, 2 different cables. It charges only. Have factory reset it. PC just will not acknowledge it

try change pc.. sometime some pc doesn't ricognize adb driver
Have tried that too. Tried 2 different machines. Both pick up my brothers g watch r no problem
I have the same issue, any solution? I can't connect fastboot or adb, it says not recognized usb driver
Not much support here anymore; watch too damn old. But IMHO it's still a goody.
Anyhow I somehow got mine flashed back to 42N (android 4.4, I think). The thing is that bluetooth does not work at all on that version, so can't set the watch up with the phone.
Can boot into fastboot/downloader mode but when I do, my computer doesn't "see" the device.
Adb/fastboot both working fine on another unit (LG V20). I'm completely stumped.
RootJunky (TomSgt) or Adam Outler, I know you both did quite a bit with this watch early on. So PLEASE help.
Boowho??
Slightly old thread, but when "doesn't see the device", does your computer make the hardware connect/disconnect sound?
Have you tried a different USB cable? Some micro USB cables do not carry data and are only for charging.
If it's not a charge-only cable, check Device Manager and see if anything new appears in there. It could be the fastboot or ADB drivers are not installed.
