I'm on a 1st gen watch on the Ext4All ROM.
My first question for anyone (whether you're stock or on the ROM) is when you palm your watch (to go to ambient) does it vibrate or not?
Anyway, mine does vibrate and its extremely annoying because it happens more accidentally than it does on purpose. My second question is, is there any way to either turn off palm to ambient or to at least make the watch not vibrate?

Hey guys,
This issue has been plaguing me on and off, depending on which ROM I'm presently running (Jackos ATM, Cell Pro, Energy, X-Sense, and T-Mobile stock as well).
The 'end' key will make an annoying beep sound whenever pressed, even while locked, whenever the phone is not on silent. If something is in my pocket with my phone and I have my hands full, I have to hear this annoying beep sound every time I move; it's maddening.
Besides keeping my phone in silent mode all the time, has anyone come up with a solution?

Fortunately for you, you can deactivate the sound:-
Go to Settings>Personal>Phone> Change Keypad under the first tab to Off instead of Short tones.
However this will deactivate the sound of the keypad in case you care.
Hi, I'm fairly new to the Android scene.
Just bought a Nexus One a week ago and still trying to figure things out.
I've been looking, but I haven't been able to find any way to mute incoming calls or snooze the alarms by turning the phone upside down.
Seems like this should be a pretty stand function for smartphones.
At first I thought the phone didn't even have a proximity sensor, but looking in the manual shows that the sensor is present.
So my question is that is this even possible?
I've just started playing with Tasker today, if it's possible via Tasker, let me know how I can set it up to do so.

is your nexus rooted? are you running a custom Rom? don't think its possible to flip the phone over to silence it if your running a stock Rom but many custom roms do
there are some apps in the market, flipsilence and rd mute. Try them out.
Is there a way to mute the vibration on the GWR at night? My GWR is rooted, and I can use adb to mod the amplitude and the duration of the vibrations, but it would be great if there were a one-step button that would perform this task.
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers,
B.D.
It seems that the "Mute" notification on the watch should mute the watch (I thought it muted the phone), but my watch still seems to vibrate at night at times. Not certain why. I will have to investigate....)
The new mute option on the watch mutes both the phone and the watch. Not what I wanted.

Confirmed last night that even with mute on, the watch sometime vibrates... Don't know why this happens. If there is another way to mute the watch so that it does not vibrate that anybody knows of, please let me know!
Just got an Urbane...previously had a G Watch, G Watch R and Sony Smartwatch 3 and I am having an issue I have never experienced before. It could be because I am now using a Zenfone 2 as well. What is going on is that whenever I turn my sound off on my phone it will disable my notifications. The only way I can keep my watch notifications active is to at least keep the phone on vibrate. I have never used sound or vibrate on my phone and that is why I like to use a smartwatch. Any ideas or solutions to mute my phone and keep getting notifications on my Urbane? Thanks in advance.

That's android wear functionality in lollipop. If you set priority on the phone it goes to priority on the watch and if you set it on the watch the phone changes to it as well. Nothing can be done about it to my knowledge.
Ever since Lollipop I have been frustrated with the lack of ability to turn off the phone's vibrate easily. I used to just set my phone to silent mode all the time (in fact, all day at work). Now my phone is probably louder than it would be otherwise simply because it's vibrating my whole freaking desk every time a notification comes across. I tried using tasker to just lower the volumes but you still can't turn off the vibrate. How in the world can I get this phone to simply show the notifications on the screen (or my Moto 360) without sound and without vibrating?
Also just to add, if I set my priority to None, it will be silent and still show the notifications on the screen, but then they won't show on my Moto 360. Ugh.
For 360-only notifications: Android Wear app -> Settings -> Mute phone alerts & calls
This way, your phone will be silent and your 360 will function as normal. However, this won't stop your 360 from vibrating.
