[q] xperia z (c6603) 4.3 gps not working

Hello All,
I own an XPERIA Z (C6603 - European LTE) updated to 4.3 android version, and GPS is not working. GPS did not work with JellyBean 4.2 as well. I tested it outdoor, and I live in New York so it is not an issue of satellite coverage. Also, I tried to purge assistant data for GPS in the service menu, and nothing changes. Sometime the phone manage to get "Location set by GPS", but it only last for a couple of minutes and then it stukc on "searching for GPS" forever.
Can someone pls help me to fix this issue?

It sounds to me like it's a hardware problem. I never had any problem with both 4.2 and 4.3 roms. Stock rom and rooted.

Sorry that i write here cause i need your help
I got a tablet modecom freetab 1001 x4 slim
The problem is I can't connect to Google servers u know I got wifi browser works fine but Google play YouTube gmail don't work
I can't log in and it says can't get a good connection to servers or something
Do you know what to do?
BTW it I had connection 2 days ago
I do a factory reset yesterday
The WiFi icon Is always grey and not blue
Help plz

[Q] gps module xperia z improvements

Hi recently I have an issue on xperia z after update google maps which is bring better look but not better performance on my phone when I want to turn in any way my car is turned but google maps has a hanged and after a while it will turn and continue navigating can you guys tell me what rom is very stable and compatible with my GPS module as i am mostly use my xz for driving recently bought Lumia 1520 but I cannot leave this phone away please just tell me a way to fix the issue I don't have sim on my phone only using the GPS and apps

I have downloaded many kit Kat rom and tested but it isn't fixed I uses miui,cm11,aur,
Isn't it because of kit Kat is there any kernel can be useful last night I downgrade to existenZ ver 7 but still problem although not as much as kit Kat any idea for me please help guys I am doing delivery job and have sygic on my phone but google maps I the best not even Nokia drive with a a 3d maps can beat it

Please do not post questions in the general section - use Q&A instead.
To your problem. I use navigator with open source maps and there's no problem at all. You might give it a try

I also find this with Google maps, do you also get your location arrow spinning around? As if it doesn't know which way you're facing? Or sometimes says you're going down a road sideways?

Actually I am totally agree that Google is getting worse on
The android devices but you just try the new Google maps on iPhone and you will see how smooth it is after using a lot of custom roms and research I found the solution the problem is my gps chip which is not strong enough to handle google maps but works fine with sygic
Guys the only way to fixed
Is buy an EXTERNAL GPS WHICH IS CONNECT VIA BLUETOOTH
I bought qstarz xt works fine but there are more option you can choose

"searching for gps" on google maps

Guys, when I use google maps while after while I get text "searching for gps" and it loses my position on the map.
Anyone facing the same but?
Can anyone help me with this?
Is it a gmaps bug or it's fault of our Mi A2?

I've been using mine on holiday in Bali and have not experienced this once. Maybe a fault with maps.
Do you have high accuracy enabled in location options?

Yeah i did have high accuracy enabled

When you enter Street View from the Map, and activate the compass, do you have lag?
