Hi,
I wonder if anyone has found a solution to disable this sound?
Searched for connection.ogg/ charger.ogg/ power.ogg but can't find nothing..
I saw lot of people have requested this option.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.hartec.miuistatusbar&hl=bg - and many other functions...
buy it, worth every penny..

Hello Everyone,
I've got a very annoying problem with my Diamond. When I'm calling with someone, the screen won't go off. Because of that my ear often touches the end-call button. I already installed Afvanced Config and it says the ''Light sensor to turn screen off'' function is on.
Does anyone know how I can fix this?
Thanks in advance,
Bart
that's real funny! the forum is full with ppl crying and cursing because they can not STOP the screen going off.
advanced configuration, tweaks and at least three cabs are floating around...you just get it and complaining about...
Hehe yeah, well, maybe we can trade phones? Because in my opninion it's very annoying. Does anyone have a solution? Do I have to change something in the registry?
Does anyone know the answer?

I've just tried it and it really works fine. Try this link:

Bump.
Same problem here with my Sprint Diamond. Screen wont go off on it's own during a call. I'm actually more concerned with battery life than bumping buttons on the screen.
Do a search for nosleep.cab
I'm aware a lot of people seem to have the same issues with other devices on Android, but I'm curious to know if anyone has some answers.
Ever since buying my Exhibit I've experienced the issue of downloading a video someone sends me, only to find it's only 8 seconds in length, when sent video is far longer.
1) Is this an issue within Android development itself?
2) Can certain devices not handle such large videos?
3) Is there a work around, or a way to "fix" this?
This isn't exactly a pressing issue, but it's worth it (to me) to try to figure out what I can about this, because it's a little annoying when someone sends a video and says something like "Did you see the end???"
My Nexus 6 now goes off and doesnt come on during call I have to end the call to even see.
I just checked and it has been damaged. I have tried everything and finally thought is there a method by which i can disable it by Build prop or disabling drivers. I have tried all apps so i wanted a root level solution
Please devs help me out
FIX: Finally got the fix in benzo rom, in the call app there is an option to keep screen on during calls (only in newer builds from 25th may onwards). FInally fell in love with N6 all over again
This is very weird.
I have never noticed this kind of radio silence in any of the device threads, but on the most open phone of them all and google flagship was most surprising.
I just wanted to know any root kind of fix for priximity sensor, have googled and tried everything, just wanted some help from a dev

There's a proximity fix zip for this phone too, but I don't think it will help in your situation.
Is there any way to increase the vibration intensity? I've used this phone for a few months and always keep it on vibrate (like all my other phones). I have literally missed 100% of incoming phone calls and messages because I could not feel or hear the vibration.
Same feeling...
I'm unfortunately think that there's no way to... Without root and proper dev (kernel and associated sys app).
And like huawei seems to 'never' revert their move...
But if someone may lead to something that could improve...
Thanks in advance

Well, I think there is a way. But it's for sure one nobody likes to go: Opening the phone, taking out the vibrator, open the vibrator, add/glue an additional vibration plate to the existing one, put back in the vibrator without ist housing again, close the phone again. It's the way I will go as soon as I'll insert also a headphone jack into my lovely P30 pro. Will show it on Youtube in some months - if I'll be successfull with it.
I just bought the p30 pro and I too regret this lack of functionality !
I was just about to ask if someone had a solution, an apk, to remedy the problem, and I see that apparently not.
