Hi guys,
i have an unrooted D415. Recently my phone is stuck on white screen with ''Unfortunately, Setting has stopped'' on it.
These are the things that i have done:
- Format with power+voldown
- LG mobile support tool
all has failed me..
any idea?
If flashing stock kdz using LG Flash Tool works fine (flashing kdz has no errors) but it doesn't fix your phone then you most probably have a hardware issue.
Your data might be corrupted. Try a factory reset. If all else fails, return it to where you got it.

Hello guys, I am new at this forum but I have been reading this for years, but just now I needed to post something.
I have a LG Optimus Black P970 and it's now Bricked, I will try to explain it.
The samrphone was from my father and he gave it to me already bricked, he was using Stock ROM from VIVO (Brazil) Android 2.2 (Froyo) when It bricked, then I asked for him the smartphone and I tryed to use the SmartFlash to unbrick it and put the CWM Recovery as I used to use. The P970 didn't boot at CWM Recovery automatically as was supposed to, but after few hours pressing Vol - + Home Key and Power Button I was successed. Then I flashed Zeus ROM and everything went fine, the P970 was UNBRICKED!. Ok, I gave it to my sister-in-law and she was using it untill tomorrow... Then she asked me to unclock the network so she could use every SIM Card, for this I had to flash another ROM, I asked the P970 to boot into CWM Recovery (holding power button, reboot>reboot recovery) and now It is stucked on LG logo again. I tryed to flash 5 Stock Firmwares, 10A, 20B, 30A, 30B, etc but none worked. I really need it unbricked. I have been searching tought internet but every tutorial didn't work.
Please some one help me, I can't lose this smartphone. Oh, one more thing, I can boot into S/W Upgrade normally...
Thanks!
So you have tried using the smartflasher?? If so then it should be fully fixed... give it sometime to boot though as when I'd restored mine it took like 5 mins top for it to get into the main menu..

Yes, I did it several times and didn't fix the bootloop.
Is there a way that I can wipe data/factory reset thought a computer? Because maybe It could fix my phone, but I cant boot, it's still stucked. I really need help here
any help?
Hi MuriLOCO, I had bricked my p970 before and flashing via flash tool did the job.
You can try flashing it via S/W upgrade.
Go to LG website and download the updater so you could flash it with S/W update.
Hope that helps.
Hello everyone.
Recently i was using in my p880 Cyanogenmon rom based on 4.2.2 version and after getting bored of it i decided to come back to stock Lg rom.
After installing stock lg rom through KDZ installer my phone came in a boot loop. I tried to hard reset it through system recovery but when i select the factory reset
the only thing my phone does, is showing me the Dead Android icon with the red triangle. Is there anything else i can do to "wake it up" from the boot loop?
If you have CWM or TWRP installed boot it power + vol. Down.
Download the stock ROM for your region (flashable zip.) Copy to SD card
Then full wipe data/cache/dalvik/system
And flash ROM you downloaded and copied SD.

Use lg mobile support tool to re-flash stock ROM.After that, enter the recovery and do a factory reset. This as always fixed any problems I experienced. The main issue of bootloop after returning to stock ROM is a problem with data partition usually which can be fixed by doing a factory reset, however I don't know why you got that red triangle and I don't use kdz flashers on this phone as mobile support tool does fine job.
stuck in sw upgrade mode
HI im after some help. my p880 is stuck in sw recovery mode. i have tried to use the lg upgrade recovery and it always fails at 10% even with the modem disabled. i have also tried kdz flasher but with the same results. totally lost here. any help greatly appreciated
Last night with the help of root explorer i replaced the system font files. " smart gothic font" when the phone rebooted it stuck on lg logo.. my was is rooted but i did not install cwm recovery on it. I also did hard reset by Volume down + Power button, but still it didn't work.
First i used TOT method, i installed Lg flash tool and tried my best to flash software file from it but it gives this error when i press the Yellow arrow "failed previous load()" I loaded both Dll and Dz files (Extracted from KDZ file).
Then i used the KDZ method. LG flash tool 2014, did normal flash but in "LG Mobile support tool" in the 3rd step where S/W is upgrading, it stuck at 4% and says " upgrade stopped due to an error" and tells me to reboot my phone and then try again to resume upgrading i did that several times but didn't work.
This is the file i downloaded for my LG G FLEX D959 "T-Mobile KitKat D95920h_00.kdz" i was running Official Kitkat on it. 4.4.2
I hope its not hard brick cz changing fonts doesn't do that big thing...
Help me please.
Alright, so about a year ago I purchased a D415 LG L90, and a few weeks ago it stopped. What I mean is that I was updating to Android Lollipop, and when It was complete, the phone would not start, it would repeat the LG Logo screen over and over again. I tried to hard recover, but It still did not work. Please I need this phone to work.
I would suggest to just go into fastboot mode and flash a recovery from there. You can then flash a stock or cyanogenmod rom at that point.
Good day every one.
I'm at my wit's end with this device. Initial problem is that the phone is not booting and just loops the logo. Hard reset was out of the option as well because I can't go to that setting using the combinations of the buttons (I tried everything and tried adb method too).
So I tried to flash the stock rom using KDZ method but I am always stuck at 10%. And the phone now only boots in download mode. I hope someone can help me here.
