My Tab is stuck at GalaxyTab Samsung" boot screen after i try to flash Roto-JMI-v2, before i was running Overcome v1.1.2 rom and [Kernel] [EURO] [1.4ghz OC/UV] MCR EXT4 v12 and it work like a charm. But becurse i deside to sell my TAB i flash back to Roto JMI.
I flash with Odin 1.7 with success, but now it stuck at boot logo.
After that I try many other ROM and flash with Heimdal but no lock.
I have no problem to get download mode, and flash with odin and Heimdal. But I can't get into recovery mode (power+vol up)
I have try almost every solution in the Forum...
What to do next...??
Have you tried flashing kernel only? like the overcome kernel v1.0?
Perhaps that will get you ClockWorkMod Recovery back...and you can go from there.
I try it now, shall i use odin or Helmdall to flash kernel only
With overcome kernel v1.0 it fail in Odin
That's odd. Odin should flash the kernel fine.
Does it give an error? or it just says successful, but you still cannot get into CWM?
It give a error, and I still cannot get into CWM, shall i use a pit to flash
And I have try this....
1.Get a stock rom package (any of Rotohammer's firmwares will work)
2.Get P1_add_hidden.zip attached to this post and extract the P1_add_hidden.pit file
3.Using Odin 1.7, put stock rom (Roto-JME-Full-v4.tar for example) in PDA slot.
4.Put P1_add_hidden.pit in Pit slot
5.Check repartition box
6.Put Tab in download mode by holding Volume Down and Power, connect to the computer, and press start.
7.After this, the Tab will reboot normally. Shut it down and return to download mode.
8.Open Odin 1.7 and reconnect the Tab.
9.In the PDA slot, choose the Overcome Kernel v2.0 tar file for use with Odin. Press start
10.It will flash the kernel then reboot. Upon reboot, you should hear the sexy robot voices informing you of the status of the EXT4 conversion.
11.Once done, the Tab will boot normally. At this point you can load Overcome v1.2.2 rom (or any other Rom of your choosing)
12.NOTE - Overcome 1.2.2 includes v2.0 of the kernel, so no reflashing is required after install.

You are correct - he needs to repartition the sd card, using the .pit file because it was formatted to ext4.
Your steps are great! I do them one at a time with a reboot between each one.

Oops - if you got your rom from samsung you have a locked bootloader. You can continue to flash those updates, or you can use a patch to remove the lock, then you can continue on.
Can someone please paste the link to the patch?
how about the Verizon gtab...
same thing is happening to me on the galaxy tab from verizon... samsung says to send it.. but i dont want to wait two weeks without my tab... thanks..
Stuck in Bootup Screen
I also have same problem,
I flashed a Rom from "samfirmware" and after it finished it stuck on bootup screen, unable to do recovery mode.
only goes to bootup screen or Dawnload .
can you guys help ?
You gentlemen have a locked bootloader. If you search the tab development forum you will find the solution. A member named Chainfire developed an app you download to your sd card, then install it, then run it, and it will move the offending bootloader. I can't get the link here - google "locked bootloader patch" or posts by Chainfire.
When it is removed, don't flash roms with the samsung kies - all those roms have the locked bootloader.
Stuck in Bootup Screen
thanks
but I can not get the tab to load in order to run any app. it is stuck in boot screen. any suggestion ?
You cannot get into download mode? That is power + volume down.
Do you know of the adb program?
stuck on bootup screen
I havent used ADB before.
any other solution?

how install apk boot pacth phone only samsung logo or only enter download mode how install boot patch ?
newbie comes here to learn how to flash kernel.
I have been trying to write firmwares from samfirmware.com onto my galaxy s, and when I write them it just flashes the boot logo, and then resets. I figured out that it isn't actually entering recovery to install the package. Is there any way to fix this? Or have I officially bricked it?
Note: I just unrooted, that's when the problems started. (stupid I know) I was running CWM Recovery, and Darky's Rom
does it enter download mode ??
if so flash a full 3 file firmware in odin with pit and repartition
EDIT: you cant flash odin files in recovery.. only in odin using download mode
Did your phone have 3BR to start with?
Yeah it enters download mode, says pass when I flash it etc, just when it reboots it doesn't write the flashed package. Do you know where I can get a 3 part package?
@geesamsungs - what do you mean...? Sorry, only very new to flashing.
I downloaded CF-autoroot and followed these steps and now it is stuck on bootloop. I downloaded Odin 3.10.6 and right cf-auroroot version as well.

"When done, you should see “RESET!” on ODIN program and your S6/S6 Edge will reboot to show something like below. This is where CF-Auto Root roots your S6/S6 Edge."
It never boots into recovery and it's immposible to manually boot to it as well. It just auto-reboot and stuck on "samsung powered by android."

Try this....run cf auto root again with Odin...make sure NOTHING is checked under "options" (the tab above the log)...after it finishes (only said RESET! for me too)...once it is done, hold VOLUME DOWN AND POWER until the screen goes black....it should (did for me) boot into stock recovery and finish the root process... Once it is done, reboot system.....you should be rooted now.
I used flashify to flash the twrp recovery image after I rooted. Here is the twrp image to flash with flashify...ONCE YOU FLASH WITH FLASHIFY, BOOT INTO TWRP AND WIPE CACHE

Soft brick s6 help
Hi did the above work for you ? I had a very similar thing happen to me after my USB lost connection during cf autorotate , I have managed to get twrp recovery on but it seems I need a tar file to flash my phone with odin
Current status.= soft brick s6 .unable to use any zip files. Need help . Tia.
Flash a custom kernel
Try this http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/help/how-to-unbrick-samsung-galaxy-s6-100-t3378857
So I was on the road to installing the Marshmallow Dr. Ketan ROM for Jio VOLTE.
The problem occurred because I mistakenly selected something into the 'BL' section of ODIN instead of the 'AP' section.
Ever since then I haven't been able to neither boot into the phone nor get into recovery.
What should be my next step for getting the phone to work again?
All I can do is get into download mode and restart the phone. I can't seem to catch the phone in the middle of the restart to boot into recovery for some reason. I even re installed the TWRP recovery (AP in odin) it installed fine, but I just can't seem to get into recovery.
Any and all help much appreciated!
Find and download bootloader and flash it through Odin. Then reflash recovery. That should do the trick, (make sure u download the right bootloader! Or you might hardbrick you're fone!)
"Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING" after CF-Odin rooting N910T3 run on M6.01
Just got a US Cellular Galaxy Note 4 phone. Did a factory reset and it run perfectly on T Mobile N910T3 Marshmallow 6.01 (stock). Must have been rooted before, but flashed back to stock firmware and unrooted. So I want to get it rooted again.
Without realizing the difference of rooting androids running on Marshmallow and previous versions, I downloaded the latest specific CF-Odin tool for N910T3, run it to root it. Quickly, Odin showed the green "Pass!" But the phone got stuck immediately after that when it proceeded to reboot with this error:
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warrenty Bit : recovery
And the Galaxy Note 4 logo.
I removed the battery, waited for many minutes or a day. Power it on or boot to Recovery Mode always get to the above same error, so I cannot wipe data or do factory reset, as some suggested.
From above error screen, hold Volume down+Power+Home, I can easily get to the Download Mode. So I downloaded N910T3UVS2EPE2 (not the latest N910T3UVS2EPG2, as it's too slow from Samsung), but failed to flash it with Odin (3.11.1 or 3.10.6) with or without PC's Antivirus Off. And on the phone I got:
SW REV CHEKC FAIL : [aboot]Fused 2 . Binary 1
[1]eMMC write fail: ABOOT
Wonder if I can flash TWRP with Odin in such a state? Besides, I forgot and didn't install USB drivers for Galaxy Note 4. Could this be the problem? I have USB drivers for Note 2, and it seems the PC communicate normally with this Note 4.
Appreciate very much for any help!
Having the same issue. Can't even get the phone to flash the pit file or the stock software it fails every time.
Think the phone is Toast.
***Update***
Had to do some weird stuff to get it booted and running stock un rooted again. I ODIN flashed TWRP booted into recovery and formatted DATA, then I ODIN flashed the GP2 PIT file along with the newest version of the CF Auto Root at the same time (For some reason this is the only way the PIT flash would not fail, Then I ODIN flashed the [email protected] stock firmware, and it finally booted again. After not being able to boot for 2 weeks. Device is running the setup now.
Update:
I was too scare to take any actions on the phone for almost a week! However, yesterday I only flashed TWRP with Odin and it automatically rebooted back to normal!! Everything seems to be working perfectly again! The only exception when I boot it to recovery mode to TWRP, I still see a flash of the following error message before TWRP:
Recovery is NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
Set Warrenty Bit : recovery
Some how TWRP can pass the bootloop.
With TWRP I was able to root the phone, thanks to Rootmygalaxy.net, and did some backups.
Wonder if I can get rid of that error message by wiping Cache/data...?
You will get an error on that screen; kernel error or not seandroid enforcing error because it is not Samsung stock being used. There's no getting g around the warning that I'm aware of and it doesn't cause a difference on the phone running stock modified or just going all out and running any other rom.
