Greetings,
do the Tab S2 T813N/T819N 2016 models support quick charge? The qualcomm chipset should, if I'm right, but is is sufficient or has Samsung put something more to it?

No.

I wonder if it hardware related or software (can be fixed using custom kernel, etc) ?

Does someone think Samsung will release a new Android-Version for the phones?? I cant imagine, they will oO They have to much phones. But my main question ist, could it be possible, that the Ace III processor is the same like ours? I can't image too, that they will use for every phone another processor Could the Ace III Rom work on our SIIImini? And what do you think about Samsung "time between phone-release"?
It will surely have a differant chipset to the s3 mini.. novathor are gone now unfortunately.
S3
Porcessor
Judging from samsung's use of processors the ace 3 3g will most likely have a broadcom chipset (same as s2 plus) with two cortex-a9 cores so the 3g will sit below the s3 mini (remember it will sport a 4'' tft and samsung is not known for good lcds...) and the 4g will most likely sport a snapdragon s4 chipset with two krait cores and adreno 305 gpu (the basic configuration for entry level 4g devices), so this will sit above the s3 mini as it will have significantly more power. as for the android updates the s3 mini will get the 4.2.2 treatment before autumn probably but that's about it.
i'm asking for i9305, the US version with 2GB ram.
currently im using the i9300 exynos one, and it certainly do not have mhl/hdmi working.
if the i9305 able to work on aosp roms then i want to make a switch
sorry no only touchwiz samsung roms. even with a samsung rom I have read on this forum that using a third party launcher such as nova could disable mhl. aosp = no mhl for sure

thank you for your confirmation.
its strange, because i know that i9300 using exynos, so hdmi dont work.
the xperia s if run aosp the mhl port works. so i was thinking its the exynos problem.
too bad i9305 using dual core non exynos doesnt work as well.
Samsung galaxy s 111 hml is different than standard hml. the port uses 11 pins where standard uses 5. because of this only Samsung mhl adaptors are compatible. there may be a few companies now that make similar compatible adaptors for less but initially when the phone was released. Samsung made a killing on their adaptors due to their unique mhl port.
The 19305 does use the same exynos quad core processor as the i9300. but it has 2 gb ram instead of 1. also it is lte capable whereas 19300 has HSPA+
there are cheap adapters on ebay which convert 11pins to 5 pins standart , and you can use your old MHL cable.
already tested and works perfect!!!
Hello,
I owm a samsung trend plus (GT 7580) .I see that is identical with samsung galaxy s duos 2 (GT 7582) and almost identical with samsung s3 mini. Is my phone (trend plus) 100% compatible with samsung s3 mini?
Thank you in advance for your answers.

No!
Don't even think of flashing GT-8190 firmware onto your phone!
S3 mini got Novathor 8500CPU at 1GHz. while your phone got 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BCM2166 processor
Also S3 mini got 1GB RAM and 8GB/15GB internal memory, while your phone got
768 MB RAM and 4 GB of internal memory.
While the later one (memory) shouldn't mean too much of a difference (besides firmware image layout), the different CPU could effectively kill your phone.
Also there are further minor differences, like the light sensor (GT-8190 got none).
Hi Sambo,
What kind of sound chip is used in the Samsung Galaxy tab S2 9.7? Is there anything special within?
Thanks.
Is there a ported version of DeX for older devices?
My sister has a Galaxy Note 4, which has a TV connector (it was called MHL). She often used multi window on a PC monitor.
But is there a way to get the real Note 9 DeX on a Note 4 or some older devices?
Having a S8 or above still plausible, but I think Samsung won't give dex capabilities to phone older than that...

Maybe not Samsung, but is there a modification?

First things first, said device need to have at least a MHL output compability.. That is a technology that enables phone screen mirroring through the micro-USB cable. Bear in mind that this is a hardware issue, so if the phone is not made with MHL in mind, we are unable to do more..
If the phone have that compability, I heard that sentio desktop (can search in Playstore) offers dex-like experience.. Personally, I never use it, so I can't say much about it...
