BootLoader - SM-T810 - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there any custom bootloader for my SM-T810 device, in order to install CM13 without tripping knox counter?

Any reason to leave the developer bootloader?

I am rooted, on a custom rom, with the developer bootloader. I haven't tripped knox. The only bad experience I have with the dev bootloader is the fingerprint scanner doesn't work.
Is it time to update to the latest bootloader? Any reason to hang onto the dev bootloader?
If I remember correctly, I think you'll end up tripping Knox if you flash back the stock bootloader.
The only reason to keep it is to not trip knox. You can flash back to stock firmware untripped as if nothing happened

New to T Mobile

I left Big Red last week and just received my t mobile phone yesterday. It arrived with G920TUVU3DOI1. I have spent hours pouring through these threads looking for a root solution. Everything seems to either break KNOX or the fingerprinter sensor. Maybe both? I would like bootloader unlocked, but just root would be ok. Is there a solution?
Nope, everything you do will most likely trip knox and void your warranty. The only way to root is to flash unikernal which will void your warranty. Samsung has an efuse which cannot be reset when knox is tripped.

Unfortunately DO1 and on can't be rooted without tripping Knox

ADB commands Vs Knox and warranty

Hi, there is any ADB command that voids the warranty and the knox?
I want to use the adb commands to add fingerprint gestures, hide the navbar(using fluid gestures)
Some of these commands does void the warranty/knox?
Thanks in Advance
Adb command alone won't void warranty/knox.
Even if u unlock bootloader, as long didn't flash custom recovery/boot img/root, knox will stay untouched.
Correct me if I'm wrong
If you have Exynos version you can't root WITHOUT voiding KNOX...

Unlocking the bootloader WILL trip Knox.
So, none of the adb commands can void the knox? I can use them normally?

Technically turning on oem unlock only, which will factory reset won't trip knox.
Knox will be tripped once flash recovery or something like that, and of course will need unlocked bootloader for that.

Can you prove that unlocking the bootloader doesn't trip Knox? Everything I've read says as soon as you unlock it, Knox is toast. Why anyone would just unlock the bootloader I don't know.

Would TWRP w/o Root trip Knox

My question is simple. Would it trip my Knox if I flash a custom recovery, like TWRP without rooting?
I want to flash some roms to give them a try but I don't want to trip my Knox. Is this possible?
Yes.
You will trip knox if you modify your system.
I think even just unlocking the bootloader to be able to do mods at all, causes the security chip Knox to permanently 0x1 (trip)

Yes? As if yes, it will trip Knox, or yes, it is possible to do it without tripping Knox?
