Hello Im wondering if anyone can help me, I brought a Samsung Galaxy S today that was locked to t-mobile, I have successfully unlocked it using 'Generate unlock windows' but it has t-mobile firmware on it and loads of crap making it slower and some times unable to install apps on the market, Can anyone help me or guide me to a guide to flash to normal non t-mobile 2.1 firmware please..
In reg-edit it says my phone is: GT-I9000HKDTMU
but on my phone it is: I9000BOJG3
Install a custom rom like darky's rom it will get rid of all t-mobile crap and will install custom startup screen like the nexes one bootup
Go on darkys 9.2 resurrection . Got a video tut. I flashed that first time and it went well.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App

hi all.
I have a samsung galaxy S and its problems. I tried to remove it, but its mainboard I9000 GT (s) and not GT I9000. I also tried using the version of I9000 Stockrom for it but failed. My device of the network ? And what do I do with it now?
Hmmm... if you cannot remove the phone, try to give it to someone else, I'm almost certainly sure that it will not return to you this time
WHAT problem(s) do you have?
WHAT ROM currently you have?
WHAT stock have you tried to flash, and HOW?
WHAT were the symptoms that it was unsuccessful?
Hi, I own a Samsung Galaxy S I9000 and I just finished rooting my device and installing the Slim Bean rom and the Gapps. Everything is working well and without any problems except the SIM card, it seems like the device wont even recognize the SIM card, I've been told theres a problem with the IMEI, and when i type in the phone app *#06# it just says IMEI and thats it, i have no idea what to do or whats the problem, so please if someone can help me i will be so thankful!
Hi dear xda ppl,
I have a Galaxy S3 mini model i8190n, and I'm desperate to upgrade it to at least Android 4.3.
All custom roms have the same problem: "Error while searching for networks". It just refuses to connect to mobile networks, 2G and 3G alike. The sim is recognized, however it remains useless. I tried everything! CM and omnirom... all versions. "EFS Professional" backup and restore didn't help either.
When I install an original stock rom (ILO - israel) it works again. But then it's Android 4.1.2 again. Argh! Desperate! Please help me, you dear wonderful people you.
P.S. the phone is not locked on a specific carrier.
