Mine is about 153 MB and also references the removal of milk music. I have not installed it yet. I'm thinking of rooting and was waiting to see if it torpedos that idea.

Installed the update on the 710. Milk Music is still there.

I have not received any updates, however I hooked up to smart sync today and the latest update was available. This was the same as the latest samsung-firmware.com version.

I have an old backup from Kies that was from the 26th with that has PH1 so not sure how long it's been out. Anyways the only differences I have notices so far is during setup it asks about weather. Setup nolonger defaults with location on. File manager under sort mode defaults to descending and have to select ascending. Thought it said alphabetically before. Settings/sounds adds keyboard sounds option and something about calander notification sound. Display I have no option to turn off backlights but apps from market do work. Seems like minor stuff no one will miss.
I'm on a T810 and since this update my screen-on battery time has been reduced by about 40%. I can't get more than 4-5 hours screen time now. Is it just me?

Seriously though, you will get the new market soon, it downloads and installs in the background without you seeing it, and then one day soon you will open market and be greeted with a brand new EULA and a brand new market too!
Or you can google it and download the APK.
Or just go here:

Download the apk to your phone and install it. Bam, new market

ummm.. this is COMPLETELY wrong. you get updates silently from Google.
you can force it to update manually by force closing market and deleting the data
or... download the apk
My problem is, it's updated, but it doesn't show all my downloaded apps. What gives? I went through each account and none of them are there. It seems only 7 apps show and it looks like only the paid ones. I've downloaded well over 60-70 apps. None of them show.
I'm on Android 2.3.6 Nexus S (Tmobile) and am running stock--no ROMs whatsoever.
Is there a way to check which apps have recently updated? and when they updated? Like a history of updates with dates
Unchecked automatically update in Google play on each of the app installed . Just do it manually if u want to monitor the update.

Yip, of course ; But posted this for a work colleague who had a heap of updates overnight and was wondering if there's a way to reference a history/log of update dates and sizes etc. It's not a big deal though
If auto update Unchecked. He already able to check change log before the update.

Yip, the question is this: is it possible to view a list or log of updates in descending/ascending order of date, size etc. It's not possible as far as I know, but I'd like to know if there's perhaps that someone knows how to do this..
Hey all. Got an auto update to gear manager ver. 1.5.120902 about an hour ago. Been looking through it but haven't noticed anything different. Anyone else notice anything?

I just updated the Gear Manager to 1.5.120601, and tested the original Note 3 email app with my Exchange Account, and it is sending Notifications now to the Gear with subject and text! I had installed the other email app 4.4(?) and had it working, but it would repeat notifications and stack 2 or 3 together if they came in close to the same time. I am not sure on the original email if there are any issues, but the test I sent myself came through perfectly. Will update tomorrow after I see if all holds up without dups or stacking.

I got it right off the phone's Samsung App store. Search for Gear Manager. Good luck. I am hopeful all works as it was intended now.
If you're running null ROM upgrade with caution - it'll wipe most customizations and you'll need to resync and reinstall them (just like when you change between multiple phones).

Can anyone confirm that they still have root after updating the Gear Manager?
I am on Verizon and got the fix they just released for Android 4.3. After the fix update my S4 downloaded the new gear manager (1.5.120601). I have been using the UK version of MK7 to get the extended notifications but had the broken Crporate Exchange email problem with the stock email. The new Gear Manager seems to have addressed this issue. I have been receiving exchange email notification on the Gear again and they include the email body.
It doesnt appear that I received an update to the firmware on the Gear (still UK version of MK7 that I loaded via Odin). Will post back more after I get a chance to look deeper into the new gear manager.
Please there is any place where i can read the change log of Gear Manager?

Similar setup here. Now getting the first few lines of my corporate exchange email when previously I received the 'must read this on your device' message. AT&T Note 2 (leaked stock 4.3) and UK MK7. Only change made was an update this version of Gear Manager.
I just updated looks like the ui is changed a little and you do lose the pictures and name of contact that show when you receive a call.. I just rolled mine back.
My Note 3 cannot connect after update!
I just updated to 1.5.120601, it did a software update on my Gear too. But i was already in UAMK7. It wiped all my data too. Had to do it, otherwise it didn't want to pair my Gear with S4.

How are people finding it?
I went from Beta 10 (bought my watch the day it came out)
-it was crap, buggy, slow, the app store made my phone hot and chewed the battery.
to Beta 7 (the release prior to "app store")
-no app store. instant responses. worked pretty well
to Beta 11
-still a bit slow, but the Pebble app behaved and battery use was okay. App store worked better (could scroll back and forth between watch faces)
to Official
-barely tested before an update came out
to Official.. (update 1?)
-is okay.. not as fast as Beta 7 still.
-Phone has started crashing.
-Powered off at 3am the other day (GSAM graph and Sleep as Android had data until then)
-Froze on the app store this morning. Then crashed.
..not sure whether I'll try uninstalling everything or perhaps flashing a new ROM.
Incidentally, I have a mate who won't move off of Beta 7
Official got an update today. Working very well so far
I changed my rom and it seemed to have fixed the problem I was having earlier.

After I received my Pebble, the firmware was updated to the latest version 2. I had been using with my Note 3 on stock KitKat and found that almost half the time, it will lose the bluetooth connection. Has anyone using Note 3 encounter this issue?
Today I got very frustrated with it and tried factory reset of the Pebble but still has same issue. I even tried Pebblebits but the issue remains.
I tried to flash the beta 9, 10, and 11 but didn't manage to flash. Is there anyway to go back to the last most updated version 1 firmware? The only reason I want to do that is to find out if my issue is Pebble or rom very issue.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
V2.0.2 firmware updated on my Pebble. Hopefully the bluetooth issue I had will be resolved.
Edit:
Did factory reset on my Pebble a few times but still cannot solve the problem.
Next, suspected that Notification Center seems to cause the BT disconnection, so I removed it. Tried other free notification apps but still had problem with BT disconnection.
Decided to purchase YaNC PRO and unfortunately still had BT disconnection.
The last straw was to reboot my Note 3.
Looks like the BT disconnection is gone. Notifications are also coming in now. Hopefully this situation continues.
Edit:
It's slightly improved but at times, I still face BT disconnections, ie notifications not sending to my Pebble even when the notification bar shows the Pebble is connected.
Of anyone has any suggestions, please share with me. Thank you.
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk
I have a disconnection too. But this is a data type connection. If I have weather on the watch it wont update, when I do a manual update on the watch it says disconnected. The way to get it back is to reboot the phone, or go to the support tab, have it check for a update, and let it force close, then its OK for a while. I'm currently use Kitkat (Custom ROM),unfortunately I had to remove weather from my watch.

Thanks dude!
I was worried because I just bought this Pebble and I thought mine was a faulty unit.
I"m using Pebble with my Galaxy S3 (rooted stock ROM) and I had several times problem with random disconnection and reconnection of BT connection with Pebbles.
Always solved by default reset of Pebble + removing / installation of Pebble application.
Hope that it will help sb who have same problem...
I searched a lot, but did not find a solution to the following known problem:
Since about a year you wouldn't be able to update almost all Samsung core apps (mail, contacts, messages, gallery, clock, touchwiz, ...) directly with the proper apk file (from for example apkmirror).
On S8(+) you were able to bypass this protection by changing the secure startup (either way) and reboot the device. until the next reboot all update-installations would have been successful.
On Note8 this trick does not work anymore.
Only chance is directly after an (official, OTA or Odin) update. Then, it is also possible to update all Samsung programs until next reboot, after which the security mechanism takes place again!
Has anyone so far figured out how to bypass this protection, as it is really annoying?
Thx in advance!

Bump!
Samsung already closed the flaw that directly after an update the manual apk update was possible.
On Tab S3 this is still working (experienced myself a few days ago), but not on Note8...
Does anyone has a solution for this problem?
