I have two questions about the One Plus 3.
1. Does this phone have an RGB Notification LED? I can't seem to find it mentioned in specs on a few sites, but I see references to it on others.
2. Nevermind, on the second question, glazed right over the forum.
EDIT: I'm an idiot, My eyes went right past the ROM forum for some reason

Newb to Windows Mobile...and may still go back to my N96. Having found this forum I am considering trying a cooked ROM, but can't find any thread or wiki article which provides a side by side view of the ROMs ?
Apologies if this info is somewhere obvious - not found it in 6hrs of HD ownership

There is no thread which shows different rom's side by side. You will just have to go into each individual rom thread and read up on them. Choose which one you use and try it out.
Whatever you do, don't ask which rom is best as you will open a big can of worms. Best advice I can offer is to read up on them and try different ones as everyones taste is different.
I just flashed my Sprint TP2 to the latest MIGHTYROM... now I have some questions I hope someone can answer
1. I am missing the down arrow that is supposed to be on the top right that shows running programs, memory etc. I have seen threads where others say they are missing it too. How do I get this back?
2. Can we change the FLIP CLOCK to something else but leave the weather there?
3. Where is the WORD CORRECT that is supposed to be there so that when you type, it brings up word suggestions.. mine does not.. it also doesnt bring up contacts when you start typing in the name in the TO: field
Thats all for now... Thanks....
You'll be much better off asking your questions on a different forum in the appropriate thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/forumdisplay.php?f=98

I posted questions in that forum before but twice was told that was the incorrect forum.. I did a CDMA flash and that is the CDMA forum so I dont know why they would say that... thats the reason why these questions are posted elsewhere...
Hey all, just wanted to ask people for their opinions because I've been thinking about something the last couple weeks. I noticed that in trying to go through the Q & A forum and answer questions for any problems people might be having, that there's no real line between what threads are for those with rooted kindles and for those on stock. It just all seems to be blending together. In one thread about wallpapers I think I saw 6 different topics (at least 4 or 5). Some were about root issus and some weren't. I saw one user post his question in 3 completely different threads in 2 different forums because he didn't know the proper place to ask. I believe it makes it really hard for anybody with problems to find anything and it also makes it harder for others to answer questions. So my question is, what do you guys think about it: how many people are confused about where to ask questions and how many are confused about the threads themselves in Q & A. I guess I'm looking for what your opinion is either way and what you think should be done about it if you do think it's confusing. Thanks guys.

I think it easy to find the right thread and when to make a new one. I do think there should be a Q and A thread for ROOTED KFHDs and one for STOCK KFHD it would make it easier for me and probably alot of other people to solve problems that way. Lastly, I think some people are new and don't know where to ask some questions. So search your topic before you post a new thread or post in a forum that has a different topic. Hope this was helpful for some people that are new or are confused.

Yeah that was kind of my general feeling about it. Just seems a bit scattered. Was trying to help one individual and I didn't know his kindle wasn't rooted with custom rom until a day and a half into our conversation. It wasn't his fault that didn't come up,I think we just both assumed the other knew what was going on. Just think like you said it would be easier to help people with questions. Just my thoughts.

Yeah makes sense to have two different threads for root users and none root users
I agree they should be seperate. Rooted and non rooted.

So since no one seems to be ranting or asking the question about this, then I guess I will. And here's why. I read earlier this past week that LG would be pushing the update for their G3. I figure with that news out there and the idea of tweaking it to work on the G2, that there would be at least a beta out there? I've looked everywhere and I haven't found anything. I'm not sure how hard an LG is to port versus an HTC but I know that there are ports from the One m7, One m8, and One Max that work on the DNA. Anyways, I'm not trying to *****. I'm just curious as to why there isn't anything out yet? I'm ready to test drive the new 5.0 and I don't really like the nexus devices, nor do I have the money to go buy one out right. I'm just really wondering if anyone is even working on this or waiting for it to hit and then will start working on it??
1. I don't think you're allowed to post questions in development forum, ROMs only.
2. The G3 update is not as easy to port as you think as we're missing a kernel. The problem is even more complicated with the Verizon model because we don't have a CDMA Nexus model to base it on. Porting to GSM model can use some help from the existing Nexus 5 kernel. That's what I think.
Well.. I believe that someone(s) is working on a port for the G2. I'm sure that since they're doing it for free and in their spare time, they will release one when they have a "Good, Safe to Flash" version. Since I'm not a developer of any sort and just a very grateful user of their work.. I will continue to wait patiently until they see fit to release it. If I get tired of waiting then I will probably learn how to make one myself. That way I can have it when I want it.

First and foremost, this is in the wrong section, as stated before. This is not a Q&A forums (see sticky) and at 100 posts, you should know this.
Tim from ose and reven from liquid smooth along with eight other people, two being members working on cm are building cm12 for us.
Twice now it has been leaked, resulting in two broken builds, and doing nothing more then pissing off the guys working on it. It will come when they have it stable.
What? There is no lollipop port for the dna.
Please note the sticky at the top of the Dev forum going forward...
Sticky: ★ ☆ ✰ Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting do not go in the Development Section. ✰ ☆ ★
You know I get that everyone isn't trying to be rude about my posting in the wrong section but I'm sorry it came across rude. Yes I have 100 posts or more. However I didn't read the sticky at all because in my opinion of I or someone else should have a root question there isn't a real section for it that is easily noticed called Root: ask your questions here. So I'm personally going to go to the section labeled development and for my carrier and ask those questions. Maybe my brain is wired wrong in the way but to me it seems like common sense. Anyways, I'm done with my polite rant. I appreciate the responses for the information they gave me. I'll just sit back and wait I suppose. I could always play with stuff on my DNA.
@CoyotesFan4Evr
Yeah, I dunno. There's a general Q&A and a Verizon specific Q&A and you're asking a question, so I don't know why it doesn't click.
The reason why you don't ask questions here, is because it would bog the entire forum down with questions versus Roms, and this place is for roms.
I get why I shouldn't have asked my question here. That part clicks just fine mostly anyways. Where it run up on the issue is that it says general questions. I'm a member on another forum and you don't ask general questions about a rooted phone in a section like that. There is a section called all things root for that type of question asking. So I hope the logic of why I asked on this part of the forum makes sense. But for the future I won't post in the wrong section anymore.
Honestly dude just be patient. Some of the Nexus devices are only just now getting the update, and it's going to be a little while longer before we see anything. CM12 is being worked on and we'll get a G3 port a little while after Lollipop hits the G3. I'm foaming at the mouth for L just as much as anyone else, but these things take time.
If you really want to try it out, there's an early CM12 build in the regular Android development forum. It runs but has some bugs on all versions. It's really nice outside of that.
How do I enable WiFi?
Haha, just ****tin' you.
My note 8 has the padlock unlocked symbol on launch, however in the developer menu option. the "allow the device to be OEM unlocked" won't activate.. when in Odin mode it just hangs on the download image.. any ideas how to solve this? i've also tried booting into the recovery mode which works but i cant install supersu on twrp from there?
Thanks all for your help!
Did you perform a search on the forum? E.g.:

Hello, wadawads, I see this is your very first thread, coincidentally, your issue is discussed in a thread that is almost on top now, yes, I know that it has more than 3700 posts, and you want guidance right away, it may seem tiresome to go through, but if you are really interested, there you will find many, many different situations that may be like yours, so, read patiently and learn some useful stuff in the meantime

No one here will know, this is the Note 8 forum.
But seriously, always do a search first before asking, chances are the question as alreasy been asked & answered. As said, in this case it's a very common one & there are many discussions about it. It frowned upon here to ask questions that have been discussed extensively & easily fond with a search.
