Error 7 - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've got a SM-T817T that I finally rooted and installed TWRP. Tried flashing a few ROMs but they all come back as failed with error 7 in TWRP. I was finally able to get cm12 to install, and now the tablet shows as a SM-T 810. Everything seems to work fine and WiFi only is OK as I don't have T-Mobile anymore.
What is error 7 and is there any fix for it?

Anyone?

Post the recovery log.

Sorry it took so long to respond. I've got a log but don't seem to be able to upload it.

Downloaded just fine for me. Not sure the best way to utilize it, I'm simply providing the download.
Link is for real fixed now.

You could manually install it from SD card, but you'd have to be stock. I think I'll give it a shot and give up Cataclysm for a few days to check out the new camera fixes.

Yes, but the process is the same. You can also do it from the SD card: http://www.technostall.com/nexus-7-android-43-update/
Perfect option if you don't have a computer with you.
Can we do this in twrp sideload?

Need to have stock recovery? I'm on stock, but not stock recovery.
Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
You don't have to have stock recovery. I've got TWRP and it flashed just fine. Put the zip on your SD. Boot into TWRP/CWM, flash as you would any other zip.
BUT, you WILL lose root.
*edit* I should also add that other than TWRP and root, I was completely stock.
Cool! Did you lose user data?

Did you try flashing SuperSU to see if root can be achieved on this new image?
Wowie! I just got Omni. I'll gladly switch back to stock for this. Sold!

I'm about to give that a shot. Flashing over stock + root immediately followed by superSU 1.65
Worked perfectly.

TMOBILE 4.4.2 Kitkat

In the past week on 2 occasions I woke up with a notification from Tmobile saying it was the download for the 4.4.2 Kickat update. So I downloaded it (both times) then clicked install. It booted into recovery and said it was applying the update, then it would reboot to the phone. Then I'd check and I was still on 4.2.2. I called tmo today and they said they're having tons of trouble getting this update out and it's not an issue with my phone. Did This happen to anyone else....?

Hmmm, I'm not too sure what the issue could be then. Let me find the forum thread for xposed q&a and I'll link you to it. They'll be better help than I am.
Edit: You already are here, lol. Excuse my slowness.

Did you gave root access to xposed? Do you even rooted your device?
Grab a logcat, it'll show the actual reason why it's failing.
You can also install it through ADB (or `pm` from a terminal emulator), that'll directly give you the exact error.
Yeah its rooted

I've normally only seen that error when the file is already in the system somewhere. I don't know the file structure of an LG phone and I'm sure it's completely different than a Samsung. Check also in data/app

You could also try rebooting and attempt to install it again. Sometimes that does work

I'll just say this again because it's all guesswork unless you do so:

OK, have you tried the whole restart, remove program, reinstall etc etc to make sure it isn't a fluke?
And if so have you contacted the developer to let them know yet?

HTC 10 Marshmallow 6.0.1 xposed?

Is there a guide for this? I am not seeing anything particularly for the HTC 10. Does the HTC 10 play well with xposed? I don't want to run down a path of bootloops etc.
If I'm not mistaken, it should just be Xposed SDK23 64bit.

I've installed the apk and flashed sdk23/arm64. xposed installer is saying the framework is not installed. I have even removed all the language packs from system apps to help give room on the partition. Very frustrating. Xposed is the ONE thing worth gaining root access for. =(!
After you flashed, did it go through that whole Android is updating thing?
I haven't used Xposed in awhile as well. :/

Check the areas where Xposed gets extracted to and see if it did flash.
I'd try mounting manually, then flashing again.
