put a US tmobile galaxy tab 7 into service mode? or know how to get into the technions menu? the US tabby has no dial pad. I found a program to unlock the network sim thou. it just mods the nv_data file.
You can get to it but there is nothing you can do there that actually changes a setting.

I unlocked my S5830 via IMEI code and it seems that the device keeps getting signal drops. I selected the right network and also entered the device's number in the proper section.
Is there something else I must configure? I unlocked my S II via a hardware unlock and as soon as I put my SIM in it, it was working fine. I'm really wondering why I'm getting a different result on the S5830.

Has anyone tried using the same loophole from earlier Samsung devices to SIM unlock their Note 3?
It doesn't work for me.
It doesn't work I tried it the first day I got the phone,they changed the menus on the note 3.I dialed the number and the menus are different.They must have seen people using the special menu and patched it on the note 3 with a different menu

Hey dose anyone know how to unlock the note 3 threw the service it ms menu like you can on other galaxy phones ? I just got the phone on rogers and need to unlock it so I can use it with telus. Or does anyone know some good cheap sites that work for this phone without a processing time ?

Sorry for the late reply as I too was looking for this info and stumbled upon you post. The Note 3 doesn't seem to have the same options as the Galaxy S3 or Note 2. You can access it through *#197328640#. But there is no option for "network lock" as described in this thread:

I'm not sure about unlocking option in the service menu. You can, however, unlock the note 3 by rooting and then running chainfire's regionlock away.

This may be something that Sony have just blocked on the device, but does anyone know how to get to the screen shown in the image attached? I've been trying multiple keys to get to it, *#*#7378423#*#* not giving the right info.
The main thing I'm looking for is the band, its to help out the LTE Discovery App as I'm in the UK on EE
If anyone knows where I can get this info from on my phone I'll be very appreciative
