as long as it is locked.....download the HTC Desire 510 RUU for your carrier,
1.) boot your phone into bootloader
2.)plug into pc.
3.) run the RUU.exe you downloaded and follow the prompt and let it do its thing

Fixed

[Q] Inc s gets stuck on "htc" bootup screen

Hi guys
I searched everything before trying this and thought i was doing the right thing but no . I was on a rooted froyo with cwm installed. I downloaded the RUU "RUU_VIVO_SENSE30_S_hTC_Asia_HK_3.09.708.2_Radio_20.4802.30.0822U_3822.10.08.28_M_release_227715_signed"
and did the update. It said successful and after the phone rebooted, it is still stuck on the same screen. I cannot do anything except remove the battery to switch it off. Please help
PS: I am from India btw and I used the AsiaHK RUU . Would that be the problem?

The problem is you are S-OFF with Revolutionary and the 3.09 RUU you flashed the Android 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 ROM which needs to have HBOOT 2.00 installed in order to boot and run.
The Revolutionary S-OFF HBOOT is preventing the RUU from installing HBOOT 2.00, thus the reason you are now in this state.
Checkout the FAQ sticky post in this forum on how you should proceed.
I used an exe installer friend. And I am really new here so I am relatively new to the terms u guys use. So whats a sticky in the faq?? Do I still have hope or should I give it to htc. The htc service in India is really bad and if they find out I am s off they wont touch my piece unless I pay them. So I am stuck either way...
Pl help
OK I finally found the sticky!! I got a similar thread there but it says something bout unlocking the hboot. Can u please explain what that means. How do I know if the hboot has been unlocked?

PS: I dont understand how I can load anything on my phone since it only charges when connected to a pc. I do not want to do anything wrong now so pl help

Look at Question 2 for the answer to your problem.
Hi tpbklake. tx for the reply. I checked q 2 and it is the exact same issue as mine but how do i reinstall clockwork? I have wiped everything from the phone and dont know how to do that. I can only go to the hboot screen by hitting the vol down+ power button. What to do after that?

Hi tpbklake. I tried doing things as mentioned on the thread u gave but when I hit the recovery in hboot it just reboots and goes back to the htc white screen. Hitting anything on the hboot screen takes me back to the htc white screen. When i hit recovery it says

Can u gimme a step by step right from holding the vol down+power button and guide me through it. Its been over a month since I am trying to understand this. I am tech savvy and can understand things fast but I was an iphone user till recently and switched to android so u can call me a noob!! Yeah i found this word on some posts!!

At this point you don't need to worry about unlocking the bootloader because you have the Revolutionary S-OFF bootloader.

OK, let's try to get your phone operational again.
Download this HTC official RUU/ROM:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/c0a...5AU_3805.04.03.27_M_release_189979_signed.exe
You should be able to install this ROM and still have Revolutionary S-OFF bootloader in place. Hopefully this will fix your phone and have it boot normally.

Stuck at HTC Screen, tried PG32IMG.ZIP file ie by copying into the card and fastboot, it fails to read it.
Is the fix for white screen by getting the right version of PG32IMG.ZIP? if so could you please post the link. I have tried updating the radio a couple of times.
Hi again tpbklake. I tried installing the rom u mentioed but it says usb error and rightly so because my phone cannot turn on and hence cannot read the rom. I tried installing the rom when the phone is on the htc screen and also when it is just plugged in without turning it on. Same error. My phone only gets charged when connected to the pc but when I turn it on the charging light goes off. Just putting as much info as possible. Dunno wot to do

Ok then you need to extract the ROM.zip file from that RUUand then copy it to our SDcard and rename it PG32IMG.zip and then reboot into hboot and see if it will flash that way.
How do I extract the zip file from an exe? Is there a zip file of the same RUU?

[Q] Bricked during ics root

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1498003
Then I got stuck on the htc startup screen with the green htc letters and white background. Ran the RUU from ATT HTC again and got stuck at 34% while updating system. I pulled out the usb cord and pulled out the battery and replaced it. Now there's an error with htc black background and 4 triangles. whenever I pull out the usb cord, the phone goes into a hardboot menu with only RUU option. I can't unlock my phone. it is currently relocked.
Please help :'(
thanks!
Just run the RUU again without removing the USB cord this time.

If you pull the battery, replace the battery, hold Vol- and PWR, does it take you to Bootloader, or to that "RUU" screen? If it takes you to bootloader, select Fastboot, plug in your phone, and run the RUU again. Looks like you have ICS Hboot, so make sure you're using an ICS RUU, and the correct one. You may want to redownload the RUU in case you got a bad download. If it doesn't boot to bootloader, try running the redownloaded RUU from that "RUU" Hboot screen
Thanks for the replies. When I try going into hardboot it has the black htc screen with the four triangles. When I try running the ruu it updates until 34% and gets stuck there

All good suggestions...also make sure you're using the cable that came with the phone. A ton of strange going-ons are being reported with 3rd party cables..
I'm still stuck at the 34% mark even though i re-downloaded the RUU. Should I download another RUU version?

Did you download the ruu from here? If not try it and see if it works. Maybe the one before was a bad download.
yea that's the one I used :/. I ran the RUU at least 8 times and it would always get stuck at 34% or the updating system stage. could the issue lie with the system?
thanks for the replies

"stock" HTC incredible S stuck on HTC Screen

Hi,
Both my Girlfriend and myself have "stock" (never flashed not roms installed) HTC incredible S handsets.
In the last week hers has suddenly started hanging on the HTC boot screen.
Earlier in the week I used the boot menu and managed to run factory reset which worked succesfully. This morning phone has asked to do an OTA update from Optus. (same upgrade she had installed before the last "hang")
Ran the update and it rebooted.. it is now hanging on the HTC screen. When trying to run factory reset it either shows a red triangle with an exclamation mark or reboots and hangs on the HTC screen.
I have not rooted it (these are 100% stock phones) and have searched through the forums but most of the posts Ive seen related to taking modded phones back to stock and not fixing a stock boot problem.
As I have the exact same model is there any way I can copy critical files from my handset to hers to resolve this issue?
Is there a stock Image file I can download and install?
Warranty is out of the question so I need to try and resolve this by myself..

Hi Mark, here's the Optus Sense 3 RUU http://d-h.st/cGj
Download and run that on your PC following the prompts. You may need to be in bootloader mode but looks like you can access that already.
Be aware that this will return the phone to a completely out of the box, factory condition.
Thanks...

[Q] HTC logo screen wont boot

I just got my HTC One less than a week ago and today it wanted to update to android software 4.3 I believe. I honestly dont know anymore cause I cant check. I downloaded the update and clicked install. It restarted and now has been stuck at the white HTC logo screen without quietly brilliant. It has been like that for almost 3 hours and actually died completely I plugged it up and let it charge and turned it back on and still stuck on this screen I even tried to factory reset with the power button volume down boot thing. Sorry im not smart with this stuff. When I did factory reset it went to a black screen with a green load logo then went back to this screen. Just made an account to post this someone please help. I figured nothing of it, so then I clicked Bootloader, and then clicked Factory Reset, it says "Entering Recovery" for about a milisecond and then takes me back to the main page of Booatloader.
I have a M7 got it from Best Buy, Sprint, is there anyways I can reset my Phone and fix it?

If it's sprint version you're in the wrong section. Go to sprint htc one section and download latest RUU which is lollipop atm. You're still in the safe zone for S-OFF I suggest you to S-OFF before doing any RUU.
