Looking for a notification app that lets me customize my notification sounds, seems CM7 only has a general notification sound i can set, i want different sounds for text, mail, voice mail etc. Anyone suggest an app that can do this? Thanks
Depending on the apps you use for text, mail, voicemail ect. you can set up different notification sounds there.
The following Apps offer a separate notification sound:
- LG O2X SMS App
- K9 Mail (separate for each account)
- Google +
- Facebook
...
I want to replace the default dialer with 3rd party app.
The problem is that once you have a missed call notification on the notification bar, it won't disappear until I open the original dialer.
I want this notification to disappear when I open my new dialer app!
Is there a way to do so????

How to enable this or work only for sms apps default
It's in phone settings > notification & statusbar > app notifications. Just enable light notifications for the apps you want there.

Hi all! Sometimes, I remove the notifications of some apps but I would like to continue seeing the notification badge on the app icon. For example I would like the notification badge to be removed only when I have seen the message of telegram, not only when I have removed the notification.

As new android 10 is now officially available for most of devices one of the great feature that new update is offering bubbles notifications in form of chat heads to messaging app.
But sadly its only available for beta builds not working in stable Q update and still our phone is way long for unofficial update, so i am just in search of good alternative for the feature and i got this app which actually works on same concept and the main thing is that this app also support bubbles notifications for nonmessaging app so u don't have to acess notification bar every time to see the notification and you can dismiss them. Too or apply quick action available for that nonmessaging notification.
