G870A MM Internal SD Card Mode - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

Hey, I'm having problems with my SD card and read somewhere that MM has an internal SD card mode. Does this work on the GS5 Active?

I think I figured it out.
For those who are curious I just followed the steps here (http://highonandroid.com/android-ho...rage-for-galaxy-s7-s7-edge-adoptable-storage/)
EDIT
I guess it's not working right... or maybe I don't really get how this works. I thought this would merge my storage. So camera/music and what not would auto migrate to SD card... But that doesn't seem to be working. I used bittorrent sync to sync my music but it is taking up all of my internal storage space. Any thoughts?
EDIT 2
Maybe okay now? I didn't migrate my data... so maybe this will fix the problem.

[Q]Installation Unsuccessful - Apps2SD

Wondering if anybody here can help me out. I was cleaning out and backing up my SD card yesterday. Since then I have not been able to install anything straight to my SD card (installation unsuccessful error).
Apps will install to the phone and I can move them back and forth if App2SD is enabled. This is only a problem when space is low and it automatically installs to SD. Did I delete something needed on the SD card? Am I just stupid?
Nexus One - 2.2
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Same problem
I am having the exact same problem. cannot update an app that is on the sd card. Also cannot download an app that installs directly to sd card (for instance angry birds, had to start phone up without sd to install then reinsert sd and move app there. Using nexus one unrooted 2.2 if anyone knows a way to fix this please let me know
Update: okay so i moved all of my files to my computer from my sd. Formatted the memory card. And now it works again

[Q] Failed to move application. Not enough memory" when trying to move applications.

[Q] Failed to move application. Not enough memory" when trying to move applications.
I've been using my google skills to try to figure this one out, but unfortunately, I did not find a single helpful post. I'm hoping someone can help.
When trying to move an application to the internet SD card, I get the error "Failed to move application. Not enough memory".
Problem is, I have 1.7GB left "On phone" and 11.3GB left "On SD Card". I'm using Apps2sd to report how much storage is left and to determine which applications can be moved.
I have read that if I had an external memory card, it would work. But I want to know if there's something that can be done so that we can move them to the internal SD instead.
From what I saw on a Nexus One, it appears that other Android phones don't have an internal SD card. So it would make sense that it moves it only to the external SD...
I just want input on this "problem", I'd really like to know why I can't use my 16GB of storage for applications! And also, enlighten other people that might come across this.
same problem here, any work around this issue?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Same problem. I don't want to use an external SD card. I just want to move the apllications to the internal SD card.

Anyone? C'mon folks! Why is this happening? How do we fix it? Could it be because of the lagfix? Using Froyo JL2 on a rooted and lagfixed (OCLF) I9000M.
Same here. As the previous posters, I am unable to move any app to SD.
When I try (through Manage applications), I get the dreaded "Failed to move application. Not enough memory" even if I have plenty of memory.
Is this a common problem? Are we the only ones experiencing it?
I am running JPY, updated through Kies after disabling the Voodoo lagfix and then doing a factory reset.
Please please help. At least let us know that it is just us and that it works for the rest of JPYs out there.

Received my replacement handset from Orange (UK) today. The GPS is locking on soo well, functions properly now.
I flashed straight to JPY via reg patch, tried moving an app to SD, get the same error message.
It worked on my old handset 2.2.1 JPY also but with subpar GPS. Today i receive a new handset with a different problem lol.
Any ideas...anyone??
Hey all .... the move to SD is only valid for EXTERNAL SD card, NOT internal.
I successfully moved some apps over after I slot in an external SD card for my SGS. Tried this after I read somewhere the 'apps2sd' tool is designed only for EXTERNAL SD.
Hope this helps....

So is the internal SD only for data storage, not apps?
I found a solution!
I had the same exact problem as you have, and after some rummaging around the interwebs I've found an answer -> SDMove
Just for the sake of information, make sure you don't have the phone connected to your PC via cable. Just like how it happened with me.
Also try SDMaid in market. It cleans the sd.
same problem
I have the same problem and I have an external SD card. Captivate ATT android 2.2 (for now)

SD Card problem

I have a problem with the SD card being unmounted anytime the phone tries to access it. The sd card works fine in wm6x, I installed android from the card. I've tried a 4gb sdhc and 2gb sd, froyo 2.2 and Super Froyo. I also tried the SD fix update from Scoots thread and with that the card isn't recognized at all.
What is the best build right now to try? Is there another update to install? Or is it a setting I need to change?
I'm going to try Scoots build while I wait for a reply.
It appears that the only builds that the SD card is recognized in are Scoots. I have been wondering if any others worked and haven't found on. If anyone knows of another, any input would be appreciated.
I'm using Fat Free Froyo and the SD card mounts fine. Can't install apps to it, but other than that I have no issues with it. Can't remember if I used the "SD Fix" update or not.

External SD Card problem after flashing to CM7

Hello,
i just updated the Cyanogenmod 7 on my SGS.
After the installation, i wanted to play some music from my external sd card,
but the card was not available.
How can i mount the external sd card?
I tried to mount it via recovery mod, but it didnt work.
What else can i do, to see and use the things on the sd card?
Hopefully you noted that the external sd card is found under /emmc.
You have to configure your music app and point it to the correct path.
Good luck.
Ok i found it.
But when i want to update my navigon map data, the program show me a message, that the internal sd card is not available.
I avoid this situation, by copying the old map data to /external_sd instead of /emmc... But how can i handle it with new map data in future?
maybe you can use gscript for change route

[Q] Problem with internal memory

I have a chance to buy a used Samsung Galaxy Tab at a great price, but there is a problem with the internal memory. It has been rooted and right now it is operating on CM10 Nightlies from the SD card. The internal memory partition is recognized but can't be accessed. Is there any chance the internal memory can be recovered?
since the previous owner went a great length to get it working with only external sd, I think likely the internal memory is beyond help. You can ask him how far did he go trying to fix it.

Thanks for the reply. The previous owner said he never tried any fixes.
I might have mistaken your initial info as saying you have the whole ROM installed on external sd card.
If it is just the internal sd card not showing, you could try to format the internal sd card from cwm and see what happens.

Sorry, I was unclear. The whole ROM IS installed on the external SD card. There's no problem running the ROM from the SD card and no problem with the SD card itself. It's the Galaxy Tab internal memory that is bad. The internal memory is recognized but cannot be accessed. I guess I'm wondering if the internal memory can be reformatted and fixed.
I bought it for next to nothing, so even if I can only use the ROM from the SD card, its not a big deal.
