Hey guys
I just noticed a strange issue with my P9 EVA-L09. Namely, phone is getting warm during 5-10 mins calls and the it sometimes gets hot. And call drains battery (8mins call "ate" 15%!)
Very important is that before call phone was cool, and after 10 mins after call it got cool again...
It happens since I updated P9 to B180
Any ideas?

i use skype on wi-fi on my wing and sometimes my wi-fi is on for 2-3 hours and my phone starts to get really hot and my screen starts to jump up and down. is this bad for my fone lol..??

i've been having this weird problem since about 2 weeks ago,
when i decided to flash my diamond with a newer 6.5.3 rom(freya 2019 version in this case)replacing the current 6.5 rom....
the flash take place fluently and nothing unusual happens...
the problem comes after the flash>>>when i tried making a call to test the rom>>>for about 2 minutes or so the call lasted before my phone suddenly shutted itself down, like the battery was drained...i tried turning it off again but the phone shutted down again soon after the first splash screen...like the battery is running out~
the phone will boot normally again if i let it for about 5 minute or if i connected it to the charger for a quick charge...
the problem also come when i was taking pictures with the camera...i can only snap a few pictures before the phone shuts down itself..
however,,if i dont make or receive any calls or taking pictures,,,the battery will last for a whooping 2 days(original 900mah battery)~
i even tried changing the radio rom from the original 1.00.25.05 to some few others to no avail..the problem persisted....
the problem came even when the phone was fresh 100% charged so i guess it's not the battery's fault,,,the problem never happened to me in the previous rom or when i'm running the stock rom~
any help will be greatly appreciated

I've been having problems with calls and battery since I bought this phone.
I started to notice (with the battery Monitor app) that when the battery starts to discharge really fast (20% to 30% in 1 hour) the temperature of the phone rises to almost 37º-38º, at that time I don't receive any incoming calls our sms, I've tried to call the phone, it rings on the phone that is making the call, but on my LG nothing happens.
If I try to make a phone call after a few seconds it gives me a "Connection problem or invalid MMI code" message, to fix this I have to switch between 2G an 3G and automatically select a network.
After this, 60% of the times the battery drain stops, the temp lowers an the I can make and receive calls, if not, I keep switching from 2G to 3G until it stops.
A few days ago I tried 3 days with flight mode on and I didn't have any temp our battery drain issues.
Any one with similar issue? any fix? basically anything that is not a LG update for the "near future"?

sounds like a baseband issue to me. try installing newest baseband (622 or 725) and mach a RIL.

I have HTC ONE M7 32GB white. last month i crashed my display so i ordered new display on ebay. then i watch some tutorials and changed it by myself. everything works perfect but i think its a lil bit overheating. Batteryy have something about 40 degrees but its overheatting near bottom speaker on the right side... My battery works about 15-20 hours without doing anything and, but if its screen on and i am surfing on the internet battery is draining alot. ( i was thinking it was for a old battery but i buy new and draining is still reallly fast). and somewhere near 20 percent battery or less its draining like a hell. today it was showing that i have 17 % and after a few minutes it was totally discharged.... and i think the charging is too slowly. Have someone the same problem ? and another problem is the speaker. It work normal but when i wanna call someone i cant hear anything. only if i turn call on speaker mode it is working. Thanks for all replies.
15-20 hours is way to low for standby. Mine got about 130 hours in standby. Check *#*#4636#*#* the batteryinfo. If the condition says OK then its not a battery problem.

Battery drain when mobile data is On or when on call.
This started suddenly 2 days back. My phone is the original M7 (2013 single sim).
Whenever i turn on mobile data, the battery drains completely in a mere 30mins on stand by and the phone overheats like crazy!!
Works perfectly fine on wifi.
Please help ?

If you are using a custom rom then revert your phone back to stock and test again.
If your phone is stock then do a factory reset and test again
If the problem persist then its most likely an hardware defect, either a worn out battery or something wrong with your radio chip.
Hi, it's been two week or so that I'm using my moto x and I love it. However some issues make me sad, 1- it drain fast even in standby mode, for example at nights it drains more than 15 percent of its juice. 2- moto display is a charming function, but it turns the display on by any noise or movement, mostly when I'm driving, both driving mode turned on or off.
Anyone has the same problem here?
Similar thing happening with mine XT1092 as well.
Things were better before the Lollipop upgrade but after the update, phone has started waking up randomly on random noises, happens atleast 4-5 times a day.
Sometimes it feels like it gets allergic to some particular environment/atmosphere and ends up waking up 5-6 times in a row within 15-20 minutes.
Did anyone find any solution to make Moto Voice wok in more efficient, accurate and speedy?
