Hey guys, well i know this is probably a noob question for most of you, but im lately reading about flashing ROMS. so i installed TRWP 2.6.3 via Rashr ( probably you know this app tho) well and then i see TWRP 2.8 around and my question is, do i need to update it to 2.8 or my 2.6.3 will just work fine?
i have samsung galaxy s3 mini golden version and currently using andorid 4.1.2 and planning to flash CM11 tho.
will TWRP 2.6.3 just work with CM11 or Kitkat 4.4.?
thanks and regards.
Use the new version! You can get the latest TWRP version from novafusion.pl/downloads. Download the latest version and flash it via recovery.
Don't forget to download it for your recovery and not for Odin

Hi,
The default build thread seems to save there is a boot loop problem with Samsung stock rom. Then there is a thread for 5.1.1 which some users say won't work for 5.0.1.
Which one should I install on Galaxy S4 with rooted 5.0.1 stock rom?
Thanks
Yes there's a thread for Samsung 5.1.1, but did you know that if you bothered to look, you would find that there's another thread that's called [UNOFFICIAL] Xposed for Samsung Lollipop by arter97. If the one for 5.1.1 doesn't work for 5.0 then maybe, just maybe try the other thread?
I was hoping there is someone knows what to do. Trying different installer means bootloop and re-flash for me.
You need to have a deodexed ROM for arter97's version to work. It says so right in the first post.

If you use the Framework Wanam built for Samsung Devices you do not need to deodex.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
You need to use the SDK 22- arm version. Since the Tab S2 is 32 bit and Lollipop.
If you are on 5.0.2 you may need this one with SDK 21

I guess you are out of luck then. Wanam does not require that but his only supports 5.1.1 and not 5.0.2.

Hello,
I have been searching and reading for hours but to no avail, I hope someone can help me with the following.
I own a Samsung S5 G901F which was still running on KK 4.4.4. due to not wanting to lose Xposed. (I've skipped Lollipop)
Now I've upgraded to Marshmallow 6.0.1, yet the old Xposed version is still there...
My question is; do I need to uninstall the old version first before flashing the Marshmallow compatible version? (If so, can this be done by xposed uninstaller?)
If not, can I just 'upgrade' the framework by flashing the new compatible version?
Thanks in advance!

Flash this file in download link below it will remove wrong xposed file that you have installed .flash this file in twrp and wait 10 to 15 minutes to boot. If you are on stock odex 5.0 lollipop exposed won't work you will need deodexed custom rom to work.

If you uggrade to 6.0.1 official marshmallow stock the xposed will work with root. You won't brick your device until you know what you are doing.just make backup rom and save soomewhere safe like your pc and microsd card and you can go back where you ware if anything goes wrong.
