Hello all!
I have searched the world wide web and am unable to locate the Marshmallow firmware for the AT&T S2 (T817A).
Anyone have a link?
Thanks in advance.
Just to clarify, device will not uodate OTA or through Smart Switch, Kies will not recognize the device because it tells me to use Smart Switch. Can't find Odin files anywhere.

I am having a similar issue with an SM-T719 that I just scored, and I found this site, Samsung-firmware. They seem to have my device, whereas samfirmware doesn't seem to.
https://samsung-firmware.org/
I was about to ask if anyone knew if this site was trustworthy, looks ok so far..
Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, the SM-T817A isn't listed. Still looking...

Yeah jeez, I noticed yours wasn't there! Good luck! I also remembered once I had a phone updated at an AT&T service center or something..... maybe that could be an option for you if you can't find it. Either that or perhaps the Samsung desk at a Best Buy? This is assuming you are the States...
Nothing?

Did you find any ?
Also: how do flash rom to it ?
I tried to flash recovery + super user, but Odin failed to do so.

So does that mean AT&T 8.9 4g lte will get their update?
If so it's great timing. The iPad mini is being released tomorrow.
That means I can sell this piece of 5hit Samsung AT&T delay device and get an apple.
I'm so pissed of all the delays Samsung has been doing to all their devices.
Great!

OTA for Canadian Carriers (Telus/Bell/Rogers)
It was reported today on mobilesyrup.com that the Bell, TELUS and Rogers Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 LTE upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich now available.
We know those ICS ROM's are available as per the OP's links, but some of the comments below that article indicate the Canadian Carriers have started OTA upgrades to ICS!!!
It's about time!

If you look in my thread here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1936044
A CSR at Rogers told me their update was released by devs over two weeks ago but no one seemed to be able to download it. I just checked my device and suddenly I have it available as an OTA update. Odd...
Got notic=fication this monring on my tab, and took around 15 min (download + install) get the it upgraded.
New UI, I assume maybe just me, I am too used to honeycomb, it take time for me to get used to the new UI. But I do like the browser with the "desktop view " option. And I can get Chrome on it now as well.

Can anyone confirm this method to be a working root with i957 ICS? I just got this thing free from Rogers as yet again they messed up my account. Not concerned with the lack of ROMs as the stock firmware is pretty smooth, but would def like to debloat all the Rogers ****.
Any imput would be appreciated.
I bought ant unlocked Bell Tablet. Can I flash the Rogers original rom on it? I am with Rogers.
Okay so I have the AT&T version of the galaxy s6 obviously and from what information I got it already it seems difficult to root this phone I've tried a few methods but they don't seem to work unless I'm doing something wrong I currently have service with Cricket Wireless but I'm using a AT&T galaxy s6 with that prevent me from rooting my phone any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance
I do not think root is currently possible for the latest (s6) versions of Android.
Correct. Depends on your software version whether it's rootable or not. If you are on 5.0.2 either OF3 or OF4, or any 5.1.1, there is currently no root available.

Just finished flashing and restoring. So far so good. Anyone have a changelog for this update?
I'm currently on PD6. Can I flash this on top of that via odin or are there incremental updates I need to do prior to this? Thanks for the guidance!

I flashed PF1 over PD6 on my G920AZ. Should be fine.
Question about updating
Hi, first post on xda.
My phone is an AT&T version but I live in AU, and I want to update it to marshmallow from what it is currently on (5.1.1), and it won't update since I'm not in the U.S.
It's currently on AUCU3BO12.
Can I flash this PG1 without upgrading to anything else first? Can it go from 5.1.1 to 6.0.1 directly from BO12? (According to AT&T's website, BO12 is a bit down the line in terms of updates, there have been a number since).
Edit: Also, which .tar file do I use out of the 4?
Thanks!
Does anyone know the answer to the above?
Finally unbricked my G920 Samsung Galaxy S6 with this
Thank you so much for this. I bricked my phone by stupidly flashing a 5.1 firmware and i've been scrambling to fix it for about a week now. And I couldn't find these files anywhere. Thank you so much

Flashed on mine (BOI2, 5.1.1) and it's stuck in the samsung galaxy s6 powered by android screen.
Already restarted to recovery and wiped cache partition and factory reset from there. Still stuck in boot screen...
Any help?
EDIT: Flashed all 4 files this time and it worked. Only flashed the AP file the first time (which people all over the internet say you only need to do) but I had to flash all 4 and now it works. Thank you!

You just need to load all 4 files up in Odin (AP, BL etc.) and click start.
Make sure your phone is in download mode.
So I am thinking about going back to stock, so I went to Sammobile to see what the latest is. It shows a firmware FLP1 from 1/17/17. I'm surprised I don't see any reference to it here on the forums. Is it just a a security update? Has it been rooted?
I can't find it.Can you send the link?The latest i found is epk2.

You're both right. In my carelessness I was looking at the Note 3 on Sammobile. Sorry for the confusion. But at least I know now there's an update for my aging Note 3.
I have a Xfinity S8 phone
g950USQS2BRB1
Build NRD90M.g950USQS2BRB1
These number says they are Verizon versions, so I am inclunded to assume that not only is my phone a Verizon phone just sold by Xfinity, but it should take the Oreo update also. I tried to ask it to check for the update, but no updates downloaded. so I want to do ODIN
Anyone try this?
