Can ne1 suggest the most stable custom rom for a5 2016
Join my request either, just bough yesterday brand new A5'16, and indeed, it's quite fine with the stock set-up, however e.g. without ROOT how to restore many apps data and their settings backed up with TitaniumBackup's earlier?

U can backup apps and everythng but not appdata..i hav tried smartswitch to back up everythng..it backup da apps and all but not da apps data..
My 510F and i can say this kyubi rom amazing scrool in app no lag or something like that.

You could try Arrived Onyx from DasNuddel
It is a very good one too
Should be a new version of that rom today or in few days
The dev is currently testing the new rom before giving it to us
First you need to install TWRP with odin and then ROOT it
Then do the backup and install the rom
No lag, nothing and very stable

different between f & fd is only csc u can flash f rom on fd
the diffrence is u won't get volte ntwrk after flash f rom on fd otherwise same...

Look for a rom based on samsung firmware. The AOSP versions doesn't have the samsung functions. You are limited to 4.1.2 roms.

if you want to flash aosp/cm base rom, you can just install any app that resemble snote . just search it on play store

i've tryed but for example i've lost s motion from settings and the samsung apps for pen i dont find them in store. i tryed to install oficiall rom but he's very slow. but a note without a pen is not a note so....

Hello, I always wanted a stock ROM, because they are well tested and have no grammatical mistakes(Wich bugs me really bad in some Custom ones) So,
I took the NK5 version from this thread by ladislav.heller

How to install:
Do a Nandroid backup,just to be sure.
INSTALL THE BASE from my Yandex, or the other sources I provided. NECESSARY! (Otherwise the debloated one, from "ROM" folder, won't boot, because you possibly have an older Bootloader)Check the "Phone bootloader Update" option from ODIN
Flash a custom recovery(If you haven't, I recommand ClockworkMod Recovery)
Disable signature check from your recovery
Install scSTOCK.zip from "ROM" folder
Reboot and Enjoy

It's the STOCK ROM, you don't have to worry about any bugs, typos, or anything.

No,it's not integrated in rom YET, I'll make a new release tonight/tommorow with kernel included
it is not what i meant.. i like stock kernel..
it is easy to flash any kernel thru recovery.. i suggest leave good rom in that stock form.

if you have had bad experiences with "s5 lollipop project" or other ===> these devs have included too much changes with tweaks ,optimisations ...etc ... , the rom not clean ,not "pure", too much useless things ....don't work correctly ! it's not good ...

Tmobile firmwares/roms doesn't includes Portuguese languages.
You must flash any international n910f based rom with tmobile datafix and kernel to get all languages.

Yes to flash rom you must be rooted any custom recovery installed like twrp.
If the language is only issue I suggest if you dont have enough knowledge then dont mess with this stuff.you may end up brick your phone and completely useless if you flash any wrong file.
You can go to note 4 snapdragon thread you can find dozens of roms there.

My intend was to sell this phone but as i just recently moved to brazil i cant because of the system language. I dont think it will sell with out the stock android in Portugese BR.

You can't do it without root and custom recovery.
You must flash international n910f rom with n910t datafix to get sim working and kernel to make phone boot and wifi work.

Sorry for the delay in my reply - I don´t understand when you say flash the datafix and kernel with rom together.. Do you mean dont restart or boot the phone into the rom and stay on TWRP i.e. Flash datafix, Flash kernel, flash rom and then reboot ?

Dont reboot until you flash 3 files otherwise your device will stuck at samsung logo.

If you want stock like samsung orignal then dont flash s7 roms

Hey, I flashed everything and everything seems to be working fine other than when I boot the phone it says
"kernel is not seandroid enforcing"

Thats normal because you are using custom rom and kernel .
And rom you are using is not for your model .
So dont worry its normal in snapdragon models but whenever you will flash stock firmware for your model that massege will disappear
Looking for a STOCK Deodexed ROM with the latest update (G920TUVU5EPK5) for the T-mobile Galaxy s6.
I'm using [ROM][KERNEL] STOCK Deodexed Bare Bones G920TUVU3EPD1 [6.0.1] by The Sickness... i wants to update to the latest update but it doesn't have any of the latest updates deodexed besides the edge rom.
If anyone has a deodexed rom EPK5 G920T and want to share it or can show me how to deodex the rom i can download it from sammobile.

I use textnow app on my phone and anytime I run an edge based rom or any of the other model rom besides the tmobile rom I have to log in the app with an account and select a textnow phone plan that's why I need a flat based rom.

I understand that's very weird u could just change the model number in build prop back to the flat version never heard of this problem before

I know it's weird but if it's that easy to change the model number in the build prop and it works then i will try it and see. Because I want to try a new updated rom. Thanks for the advice

FOR INSTALLATION YOU PROBABLY NO NEED ANY DATAFIX BUT YOU WILL NEED A CUSTOM KERNEL TO MAKE THIS THING BOOT UP DEPENDING ON YOUR MODEL SO HAVE COUPLE OF KERNELS HANDY IN YOUR STORAGE JUST IN CASE IF YOU GOT BOOTLOOPS.
FOR EXYNOS MODELS LIKE MINE SPACELEMON KERNEL 2.40.6 STANDARD BATTERY WORKS FINE.

Yea definitely give it a try.
Just installed this ROM to give a try but so far after 3 different kernels i cant even get it to boot up after flash...

Try diffrent marshmallow boitloader/modem
Which model of note 4 you are using BTW ?
Did you choose the correct model/csc from aroma installer ?
Backup first your currunt rom then Clean install from Twrp might fix the issue.
Advance Wipe (cache/dalvic cache/system/data)
That's for exynos .. It's impossible to run it on sd ..

Thrn why in aroma installer they have different model selection including N910F/T/P ?

Did not try to flash bootloader/modem coz i was on stock ROM. I got 910F and yes i used the right way the settings in aroma. I will give a try again with bootloader/modem flash as well...

So tried with the latest recommended bootloader and modem. No Success... I don't even get to the bootanimation... After the Splashscreen the screen turns black and nothing happen.... Tried RamKernel RC2, RC5, Xceed Kernel, AEL Kernel... This is NOT a bootloop...The Rom doesn't boot up.... It's so sad.... I hoped it works.... Love the N5 UX.

Please can someone fix that? I am not close to rom coocking, but the "META-INF" folder contains some files (that in other N4 roms not present). Maybe this is causing the problem?

I updated the rom link in op this one is darklord rebuild version and it support N910F model.
Hopefully this 1 will work with your model.
Does the rebuild rom work on N910T model?

When you will flash this rom you will get aroma installer in aroma there is N910F/N910P/N910T & N910S/K/L
Make a backup rom first before try and you probably will require custom kernel for your model.

This deleted post was a bit rude, but it says, that the rom also not works on N910F, if I remember it correctly.
@Trex888 waitet so long for a rom like this, and now it's here and we can't use it because of our snapdragon processor..... Here on XDA are so many brilliant devs, can't someone help in this project please....
If someone can try this rom on snapdragon with lollipop 5.1.1 bootloader/modem OK1/0K2 with Hvitamin kernel ?
Back in the days dr.ketan m6 marshmallow rom we ware running on lollipop bl/modem dok1/dok2 if i recall.
Sadlyi got exynos note 4 i dont have snapdragon variant to test but it would be nice if someone would.
Because i see no one here is successful boot up this rom on snapdragon variant with marshmallow bl/modem.

I had this idea, too. Maybe it's Lollipop and not Marshmallow. Will test it now. Backing up current system at this moment :fingers-crossed:
Edit: I use COJ3 Bootloader (Lollipop) and H-Vitamin Kernel but it's the same.... Black screen after splash screen Note 4 Logo..... And if I remember correctly, LP-Bootloaders didn't work with Dr.Ketans M6 rom...

The rom is definitely marshmallow but as i mentioned earlier maybe it requires lollipop bl/modem with Probably Hvitamin kernel for some reason like dr.ketens s7edge rom m4/m5/m6.
Maybe this combo could make this thing boots up.
