Friends okay? I have a serious problema.Antes me say ... yeah I already read a lot about this and not found the answer. Could help me because just can not do "root" in my device. Already tried all the methods ... all the same. Example: In attempting to root the traditional method (go in recovery) to debug without debugging ... with apk without apk, already tried everything...One tip ? Thanx

I'm guessing you have the Chinese ROM. There is an ROW (Indian) ROM available on needrom.com with OTA capabillity. You dont have to root but have to flash with SPFlashtool.
Here is the ROM and installation instructions:
http://www.needrom.com/download/lenovo-k3-note-indian-stock-rom-ota-enabled/
That DA DL Checksum-thingy in the instructions is super important. If you forget that, you WILL end up with a bricked device.
EDIT: Forgot to link the drivers:

In the link, check the description.
Just check hackerpower's index thread and you will find everything you need and much more.
Dear people,
I bought my girlfriend's 5X from a shop which shipped it with the fake 8.5.6.0.0. Following a tutorial, I was able to install MIUI 7.9.7. I am interested in installing pure Android, she misses her Moto G experience. I have seen several tutorials with ports from the A1, but all seem to be only for mobiles without fake ROMs originally. Does anybody know how to install a nice stable (and ideally, updatable) A1 port? I am not aware I opened any bootloader or anything while I installed the MIUI 7.9.7. I also don't know if I need to be aware of different types of 5X, I don't know if it is like in Samsung with different processors. I am not very adept with MIUI, I have had mostly Nexus and Samsung mobiles myself.
Thank you very much in advance!
Regards

Hi. I am sorry but I am not that expert on Android. I can tell you, after following a couple of tutorials from here I was able to install Android One, so MIUI shouldn't be difficult. Mostly, you have to make sure your bootloader is open and then follow exact instructions.
Good luck!
Does anyone had any luck installing GSI for Mi9? I have tried plenty ones and none of them want to boot, have followed every guide out there. Appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance
Dear all! Thhank you for all the amazing custom roms in XDA! Really appreciate all your hardwork and the community spirit that keeps android modding going! :good:
I have been flashing custom roms for years and am very thankful that XDA exists as a means for me to learn on my own with the help of all the users. I have flashed before on Pocophone F1 and Mi 9T Pro. Currently I am doing one for my brother and he bought a Mi 9 Explorer edition. I have already inserted TWRP, decrypted the phone and am now at the process of trying to install Pixel Experience unofficial for the phone.
I have a few questions which i hope the community can help me with:
1) Are the Cepheus roms able to be used for the Mi 9 Explorer edition? Somewhat similar to how the K20 Pro and Mi 9T Pro are?
2) I am having difficulty trying to find a vendor firmware image before flashing the pixel experience rom. Is there any way somebody can point me in the right direction?
Thank you all in advanced!

Hi Laptapper,
Thanks for your reply really appreciate it! :good:
Actually for the second question i posted, I forgot to mentions that I am looking specifically for the CN vendor/firmware: 11.0.5.0 QFACNXM. Thanks for pointing me to the post by gianton but unfortunately he did not post any CN versions. I hope you can help me point in the right direction this time. Thank you and sorry for the misunderstanding!
