permissive CPK1 kernel? - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I would like to root my CPK1 T-810 device and i am looking for a CPK1 permissive kernel in order to root it. Is there a CPK1 available or will i have to use an older kernel. Will this be fine with my device ? Thanks.

[Q] cifs module for XXLSZ stock rom

Hi,
I am using XXLSZ stock rom and I need cifs module.
Tried with stock kernel and Philz kernel but neither of them supports cifs.
Where can I find cifs module for this rom ?
I can also try a suitable kernel. So I'm open to kernel suggestions.
Thx.
please help me on this ; I really need cifs.
kernels like speedmod has cifs support.. but only on ICS.. there arent many custom kernel for TWJB
do we have the source for TWJB kernel ?
maaybe we could compile just the modules...
It's there. Look in the general forum

Where ? I couldn't find...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2165935
so now we can expect to see TWJB kernel with cifs etc.
(I know how to compile modules from kernel source but I really don't have the setup to cross compile)
does anyone know any TWJB kernel with cifs ?

[Magisk][Samsung][Discussion] Thread about Samsung Device Compatibility

Magisk on Samsung DevicesWe will discuss Magisk compatibility on any Samsung device here
Hello all together! Since @topjohnwu has got his own Magisk Thread (Congratulations for this, big step forward man!) for discussing magisk related topics, he everyone to make a support forum specific to devices.
So, since I own a Samsung device (and quite interested in using magisk) I will start here with a new Samsung related forum. I hope others will follow my example soon.
What should I post?
- Magisk related Questions on Samsung devices
- Problems accuring after flashing Magisk
- Your general Feedback/Experience about Magisk
- If something don't work, please attach logs to help!
What should NOT be posted?
- Questions about new versions (which are not out yet)
- General ETA
- Please fix this and this without info and logs
Current Magisk status:
Phones:
- GT-I9100: Confirmed not working!
- GT-I9505: Working with CUSTOM kernel, not tested on STOCK kernel

Yes it does, but it requires a custom kernel (if you want as close to stock as possible take the SuperStock G935F)

It works without custom kernel! You have to root with cf auto root. Then unroot with supersu but dont restore original boot.img! It seems that magisk at least needs a custom boot.img....

You only need a kernel. Not a rom...
Search for a stock like kernel for your phone

I assume you have a custom kernel wirh permissive selinux installed?
Sent from my SuperMan powered SM-G930F
Yes, apparently so, although I didn't do it on purpose. I have no idea about flashing kernels and such.
For reference, the ROM I used is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353
Currently running Magisk v6 with AlexisRom v7 (with Arter97 kernel) on SGS6. No issues.
Note 4 N910U, stock MM 6.0.1 PH1 installed Phh's superuser, Magisk V6, and topjohnwu's Xposed 86.5, all working flawlessly here.
Custom kernel is not installed as AP is not currently available in the region I reside, and not interested in PKM, so stock kernel fit my requirement well.
Can anyone help me? I have NOTE 3 - stock. What type of kernel?
I'm trying to use desesperadamete magisk in a note 4 N910C custom rom / android 5.1 kernel but get no root access. Agleum could give me a light?

Best Kernel

Can someone suggest a great kernel for the G5S Plus? I'm rooted twrp installed, but will keep it all stock except kernel as I'm happy with what I have... I want to add maybe one or 2 mods, and know a custom kernel will be needed. Thanks.
