Have you installed Snapchat before or after you rooted the device ? Mine was installed beforehand and I did not have any issues.
Even stock unrooted for me. Was and still am (now rooted) with SuperSU disabled. Still unable to open snapchat. App flashes and closes pretty much instantly. Affected me on 4.01 and 4.02. Uninstalled it for now.

Hello
I updated my I9305 to 4.3 and then rooted with CF-Auto-Root-m3-m3zh-gti9305, the problem is whenere i try to access SuperSU or an application tries to get root from SuperSU i get this notification "Security Information: An application attempted to access system on your device wothout authorization. This attempt has been blocked."
How can i fix this issue ?
[Edit] I managed to fix it by updating to latest version of SuperSU on the market.
Probably a KNOX issue
First time I started SuperSU after rooting (with CF-auto root), I got the question if I wanted to disable KNOX, because this won't let you get root access.
Indeed solved by updating and then selecting the knox fix.

Hi.
I have a rooted G3 D855 running 5.0
I want to install snapchat, but have been unable to do so.
Here's what I have tried so far:
- using rootcloak to hide snapchat, and xposedbridge/xposedbridge.jar in commands and keywords
- logging into snapchat on a non-rooted Note 5 running 6.0, using Titanium Backup to transfer the app state to my phone. The app works for 3 seconds and then proceeds to log me out.
- i can't uninstall xposed framework without having to do it via recovery, since that's how i was able to install it in the first place and in the app itself the uninstall button is greyed out
my thinking is that the latest version of snapchat has workarounds implemented for the workarounds, and i really havent found a solution so far.
Any help would be appreciated.
edit: not using Snapprefs
No. U have to uninstall xposed. Then install snapchat, connect. And stay connect. Never disconnect.
Flash xposed and snapchat still works.
I did that and it works

It's been happening for a long time now.
You have flash xposed uninstaller package file which can be found on the same topic.
If you don't have recovery to flash, simply use some other software to flash it manually like FlashFire.
1) Download xposeduninstaller.zip
2) Flash it using recovery or FlashFire.
3) Reboot
4) Login
5) Reflash xposed framework
6) Reboot and all done.
I'd advice you to use Systemless Xposed which you can simply enable and disable anytime without having to go through all this trouble.

What about me, I only have root and still can't connect to snapchat
same here
Install safety net helper, if the check fails you won't be able to log in.

Hi Guys,
I have Oreo running on my VTR-L09 and successfully rooted with supersu.zip. Randomly root permissions are lost.
I use nova launcher at the moment with screen lock button, which works best with root. This is how I notice when root is lost.
Opening supersu tells me the same.
After a reboot all is fine again.
Sometimes it happens twice a day sometimes once in two days... Completely randomly...
Anyone any suggestions?
Any possibility to unroot?
Maybe root via magisk?
Thx a lot.
Benny

I'm on Oreo Beta.. stoc, bootloader locked.. and no random reboots... since 12.01.2018 when I received the beta OTA.
I have no random reboots, I just loose root randomly and after a initiated reboot, root works again.
Hello guys!
I don't know if this is normal, but for some reason my Magisk Manager keeps losing root after a while, does anyone know why?
I always get "Magisk is not installed" when I don't use the phone after 2-3 hours, and even less sometimes...
In order to "get access" to root again I have to reboot the phone everytime.
Could someone please help me? Why does this happens?

It doesn't matter if it's updated to the latest version or not, it still happens
The manager is probably killed by the power management of your phone.
Go to your recent apps and lock the manager.

Same here.
Perhaps it has something to do with change between mobile data and wifi, but I am not sure.
I have the same issue in my poco PE10 rom.

Hello,
It happened to me today on LineageOS 16. I disabled the power management, I'll see if it works.
Edit : It has been two days and I haven't seen the problem reappear. Disabling the power management may be a solution.
Power management does not solve the issue in my case. Still every 2-3 days I get the error and have to reboot (like in Windows 95

I am using OnePlus 5t with latest oxygen os and with magisk root and twrp latest recovery.
I downloaded Jio meet app similar to zoom meeting for better privacy. But after opening I got the message "you cannot use this app on rooted device" then I opened magisk manager and used magisk hide for that app but it is still showing same message. Can someone guide me through this.
Thank you.

You're not rooted? Are you not using Magisk? Clearly the app is finding some reference for root, be it an app, file, directory, possibly even just simple edits to system data, that's tripping Jio.
Could it be detecting an unlocked bootloader or any custom firmware flags that may have been tripped? Apps that don't require root but can be detected as such like adblockers, vpn, tethering, etc? Do you have any sideloaded apps installed?

I faced this problem with My Jio App and terribly failed with "your device is rooted" message. Did everything as suggested in this thread but still failed. Then I realised that I had SANDISK App installed in mobile that actually installed all newly downloaded apps in SD Card (to free up phone memory). And this caused My Jio App also to be installed in SD Card and NOT in phone memory. So I thought this could be the issue and then changed the installation location of My Jio back to Phone Memory (from SD Card) using the same SanDisk App. And with other things in place i.e. Magisk renamed - (other than Magisk), My Jio app selected and hidden using Magisk Hide, restarting the Phone etc., then My Jio started working fine. I guess, the same would also be true for other JioApps. Good luck.
I updated OnePlus 5T to OxygenOS 10.0.1 and even with Latest Magisk Version Banking Apps and My ISP (Jio) app was detecting device Root Status, none of the tricks like renaming folders or Magisk itself worked & was unable to use app which hate Root users.
Now fixed it by installing this Magisk Module.
Seems what is broken by OnePlus in Latest Version is fixed by "Universal SafetyNet Fix 1.1.0"
This issue due to unlocked bootloader as well as magisk. For solving that , Go to Setting then Developer Option and off the option which shows that "OEM UNLOCKING" and then reboot and hide my jio app also in magisk manager also.
