I'm on T-Mobile. I got the update to 4.0.2 yesterday. Before that I was not on nougat and voice over wifi worked (I think, I at least had the symbol on the top).
Now with nougat I don't have voice over wifi symbol in status bar active even though I have it turned on.
Is this a known issue? How can I test that it is or isn't working even though the status bar symbol does not show up?

What does it mean on GDX x device?
Most of the times I see green signal strength in the wifi icon but this morning I noticed that after trying to establish connection it went white. At that moment I could not surf anywhere.
This afternoon I wiped my device and on setting up I saw that white signal once again but I had no trouble connection this time. After a while it went green again.
What's the colour code telling us?
As far as I know the icon becomes green when your google account is being synced with google servers.
Hi all,
has anyone else seen an issue with T-Mobile WiFi calling being unreliable? Its enabled and the icon in status bar present, but calls immediately go to voice mail. As soon as I disable WiFi calling and it switches back to cell network, calls work fine. Switch WiFi calling back on and it either works again or doesn't , its hit or miss. When I place a call during this time it just immediately drops. Since its so unreliable, I just turned it off completely, but I am curious if others have the same issue.
I am on ARHD 9.0 , but same issue was also on 8.1. I have not been on stock ROM since I got the phone.
Thanks
Hello, i'm writing this thread because i have been getting this annoying wifi bug for a while now, the problem is that when i'm using the "Keep Wifi on during sleep" option on Always, when i put the phone to sleep sometimes the wifi stops working and i stop receiving notifications from any app that requires an internet connection, when i unlock the phone and pull down the status bar i'm still connected to the wifi network but the icon is in orange color which means it's not getting any data, and in order to fix this i need to turn off and on the wifi and it starts working again but it's annoying because sometimes the phone is locked and someone sent me a whatsapp message and i don't receive it until i notice that my wifi is bugged.
This bug happened to me when i was using cm 11 and after that i changed the rom to slimkat (fresh install of course) and the bug appeared again. Anyone experienced this bug before and could help me out please? Thanks!
I just received my new Moto X and am having trouble with Wifi. When I leave my home and come back, it will not reconnect to the wifi, It stays on mobile data and when I go to the wifi menu it says authentication problem for my home network. I am having the same issue at work. When I move between builds and wifi networks it fails to reconnect when the network is back in range. In all cases if I just tap on the wifi network in the wifi menu and tap connect it connects and works just fine. I have only had the phone a couple of days, but this is a deal breaker for me. I am on the latest official L build. I got the update notice right out of the box and updated. Driving me nuts, anyone else having this issue? Or better yet know how to fix it?
Hi guys,
I flashed my rom to official CM-12.1 nightly release yesterday, but I noticed the data connection icon(i.e. signal indicator) is always missing after I turned on the mobile data.
However I can browse the Internet.
How can I fix it?
Finally I've figured out the reason, this is not an APN issue or a bug. It is because of I'm living in China! :crying:
As we all know, in Lollipop there is a network check mechanism, unlucky the google services are blocked in China, so the OS thought the phone was unable connected to the internet, and gives an exclamation, removed the signal indicator.
Once I used the Portal Server Modifier, the issue was gone!
In my official ROM, it only displays the exclamation and won't remove the signal indicator, so that's why I got confused.
