Hello everyone, I'm currently having a problem with my friends phone, he accidentally wiped everything in the recovery including the OS, so here's the situation:
I am able to get into recovery, and I have flashed the latest TWRP, but everything I flash either gets stuck booting or goes into a bootloop, I have tried several roms wiping everything before each flash but it just doesn't seem to be working, here's some additional info:
HTC ONE M7: PN07200 (I believe this is sprint version)
CID: 1111111
I can provide more info if requested
I'm still trying to flash more roms but nothing seems to be working, help would be much appreciated.
Can you please post the output of "fastboot getvar all" ? Make sure to hide the IMEI / MEID and SerialNo strings before posting. What roms did you tried to flash (post links please) and what twrp version (post link) - yeah I know you've said the latest one, but was it the sprint version?

I didn't realize there were different versions of TWRP for different carriers, I am currently using TWRP 3.0.2-0 downloaded from TRWP website and flashed in fastboot, here's a fun fact, Android revolution HD 93.0 managed to boot but as soon as it finishes optimizing apps the ui crashes and it gets stuck at htc logo, I have tried flashing android ice cold project, lastest ver for sprint devices and several other roms I don't even remember, but they either go into a bootloop or get stuck in boot animation.
Edit: Looks like I have flashed the wrong recovery, I will be flashing the sprint m7_wls recovery now and giving this another try. Thanks!
Yep make sure to use Recoveries and Roms made for the M7WLS variant only. The M7WLS and M7_UL partitions layout are different, wrong images will be flashed to wrong partitions when using UL stuff on WLS phone.

using the right recovery for the m7_wls didn't do anything, I just tried flashing beanstalk 7 from the htc one m7 sprint forum with gapps and still wont boot. nothing seems to work, is there anything else I can try?
Flash the sprint RUU, will fix your phone. Then you can unlock, flash the WLS twrp and rom and it should work fine. Sprint RUU is available on HTC's website. http://www.htc.com/us/support/rom-downloads.html
Thank you!, I will be giving this a try

---- EDIT ----
I followed the tutorial by @BD619 for fixing a soft bricked CDMA device after flashing a GSM ROM. Phone is fixed.
I posted this thread over in the general HTC One forum, and it was suggested I post here. So, sorry in advance for the dupe (I also can't post links yet, so I'm going to copy/paste as much info as I think is necessary).
---Original Post---
Ok, so I have admittedly really screwed up and I'm hoping someone here (or multiple someones) can help me out.
My major screwups:
No nandroid backup.
No s-off
I have Sprint
Current State:
I can get to fastboot, recovery and adb works fine. But no matter which recovery/rom combination I try, I get the same end result. My phone will boot to the "HTC One" screen, then go the green HTC logo/white background screen then reboot. Sometimes it stays active long enough to begin the "Welcome to Android" stuff (pick your language, wifi connection, etc...), but not nearly long enough to get through all the screens.
What I've tried so far:
Multiple recovery options including CWM and TWRP. CWM versions 6.0.4.3, 6.0.4.5 touch. TWRP versions 2.6.3.3, 2.6.3.4, 2.7.0.0.
ROMS: ARHD 31.6 and 62.0 (I know this doesn't work with Sprint), Viper 6.1 and some "stock" rom I found somewhere (filename One_4.19.401.11_odexed.zip).
I don't remember exactly the order, but I know I did TWRP 2.6.3.4 and ARHD 62.0 first. Then did Viper 6.1, then ARHD 31.6. Since then, I've tried every combination of recovery and ROM that I can think of.
Here's getvar all:

I'm willing to try anything at this point. So suggestions are welcome. You're also welcome to berate me for the above mentioned screwups, but it won't be very helpful.
TIA
---Update---
Downloaded the 2.6.3.0 from the link @nkk71 provided in the original thread (checked md5). Flashed recovery. Did an adb push to get the Viper ROM (also checked the md5) back to /sdcard and flashed the ROM. Same results as before.
Additional info:
Sometimes I will get "com.htc.htcdialer is not responding", sometimes not.
The screen will timeout on the green HTC logo screen. If I hit Power to bring it back to life, I have to "pull to unlock" and either the logo screen is still there or it's made it to "Welcome to Android".
I actually got to the Welcome screen this time. Picked the language, wifi network and started with my Google login before it rebooted.
Maybe an incompatible ROM issue? If so, I'm out of ideas as to what to try next.
I've downloaded what I believe to be the RUU for this model phone, but since I can't see the phone in Windows, I haven't even tried the RUU.
EDIT: Well this is awkward. After posting this thread I found the solution. If anyone in the future has the same problems as me, just flash one of these
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2406330
Apparently that was all that was needed.
Hello xda community,
First off, I apologize. I know questions like these get asked hundreds of times but after spending 3 days straight of digging through forum threads and making very little progress I've decided to just ask.
So I tried installing a custom rom on my HTC One. I did exactly what I usually do when flashing a new rom on my nexus 7. I had an unlocked device with the latest twrp recovery. I did an advanced wipe (which included internal storage), then I did an adb sideload to flash the rom. I must have done something wrong because the flashing didn't work and ever since then I've been trying to get back to stock rom.
I've tried running both the 3.04.651.2 RUU and the 4.06.651.4 RUU posted by O.M.J and neither worked. I've tried flashing the Guru Reset M7 Sprint 3.04.651.2 rom found on htc1guru. Twrp said the flashing was successful yet when I booted up the device it would get to the lockscreen and when I tried to unlock it, it would just show the HTC logo. After that it would endlessly reboot itself over and over. I've tried flashing the Android Revolution HD 31.6 rom and I got the same problems as when I tried to flash the htc1guru stock rom.
I can get into both the bootloader and twrp recovery without any problems so I figure not all hope is lost. Below is info about my phone. As you can see the version-main number is missing, though I don't know how important that is.
Code:
(bootloader) version: 0.5
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.57.0000
(bootloader) version-baseband: N/A
(bootloader) version-cpld: None
(bootloader) version-microp: None

I'm not sure if it's significant, but I did manage to flash that custom rom today. It's the Slim-m7spr-4.4.2.build.5 rom. I booted up the phone just fine (this is probably the only successful thing I've done so far).
Anyway, like I said I'm trying to get back to stock and I would appreciate any and all help. Thanks guys.
I wanted to GPE my HTC One m7. Having HBoot 1.57 made things a bit hard. I tried Moonshine, Revone, Firewater and Rumrunner, with no luck.
I decided I would pay for SunShine, but I needed a working system first. The various versions of the aforementioned tools were tested on a variety of roms and versions, which probably made this a real mess.
I ended up using this guide to get back to stock rom with stock recovery. (Apparently I am too noob to post links :-/ Here was a link to HTC1Guru "Reset to Stock for S-On")
It works. However, after applying the hotfix for a new system update, and rebooting, dowloading and installing the new update (4.4.3), I get stuck in a boot loop. My bootloader is unlocked, and I can flash a recovery. Booting up recovery while in this boot loop state gives me the phone with a red triangle warning sign on it.
My phone is S-On, HBoot 1.57, bought in Europe, using the *.*.401.* ROMs.
I've tried installing the stock 4.2.2 ROM twice and then applying update, no success. Any ideas on what I can do to get back to a stock phone, not in a boot loop?
Thanks in advance.

The reason it's bootlooping is because the updates that you are downloading are trying to update your hboot, but because you are already on the latest hboot they are failing.
Could you post your fastboot getvar all please without the imei and serial numbers please.

Ok, first thing is first, you will need twrp 2.6.3.3 recovery on your phone, once that's done, push or sideload the Rom linked below, it's full stock Rom 6.09.401.12 so just one above yours, then flash it like any other Rom.

Hi there
i'm a noob and my HTC ONE M7 is kinda confusing me.. Help??
i have some confusion about what carrier is my HTC M7, i have come across multiple carriers name when i was reading on the internet like HTC Verizon, HTC Sprint, HTC international version etc.
when i press and hold power and - volume, i get these information.
*** UNLOCKED ********
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF RH
Question one. what is my HTC ONE M7 Carrier??
are there any way to know it that i should use??
someone have installed for me TWRP 3.0.2-0 recovery.
but when i tried to check for system update in settings, phone tell me that there's an update and start to download it, but when i install it, here comes up with error stating that:
"Updater process ended with ERROR: 7"
is there someone who have any idea, why this is happening??, does this issue have anything to do with the TWRP recovery?
plus, when i try to check the file that system update have download for me to update, i found in it's name the name Sprint (OTA_M7_WL_K44_SENSE60_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_5.05.651.2-5.03.651.3_realese_393199.zip). does it mean that i'm using HTC sprint version??
please help! i just want to use Stock Roms, because when i tried to use other roms like Viper one, it didn't went well, sometimes my phone just dropped the calls, or turning off internet unexpectedly

Your phone is running the Sprint firmware and the MID is also Sprint (M7WLS not M7_UL). Was the "meid" only 0 or there was a real meid before you edited out with "X"

The M7_UL can not have a MEID, it's always 0
Your MID is Sprint (PN0720000)
Your firmware (version-main) is the Sprint version
And i'm pretty sure that if you look at your partition table, you'll see that your phone is partitioned like a sprint variant
Code:
adb shell
cat /proc/emmc
M7_UL partition table https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=42403239&postcount=1
M7WLS partition table https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=40326225&postcount=1
(look at /system for example) p35 vs p37
If you bought this phone online and told it was an international/gsm phone you were scammed, its a sprint cdma variant.
To install ota update your phone must be 100% stock (stock recovery, 100% untouched /system partition). You can't install ota update with a custom recovery. Also the M7WLS variant will only work correctly when compatible custom recovery/rom/kernel are installed, Recovery/rom/kernel for the m7_ul will not work on your phone.
You can update the to latest sprint version using the ruu on htc's website or you can flash a sprint compatible custom rom using a sprint compatible twrp.
Hey,
long story short, a friend has an old HTC One m7. We revived it from beeing deeply discharged. It was in a bootloader loop.
OS version is NOT shown in the bootloader, no matter which ROM is installed. So we started repairing the system. First I unlocked the bootloader via HTCDev, then flashed TWRP(phone is without branding and S-ON).
This works quite fine. The first problem then was a corrupted storage, which showed a capacity of 2,2 exaByte. Wiping, formatting did not work. So I changed the filesystem and back and then i could wipe, format and the storage capacity was correct again.
No matter which ROM I will flash, if Android 4.4, Android 6.0 or 7.0 and so on, nothing works.
Lineage and some others get stuck at "starting apps", some other just have the boot animation forever.
Only Omni Rom boots into the system, but then i crashes always after a couple of seconds.
I tried also Nandroid backup restores or flash the rom with or without GApps and so on.
I have no idea what to do else. Can anyone help?
Summary:
HTC One (m7)
S-ON
Bootloader HTCDev unlocked
HBOOT-1.61.0000
TWRP 3.2.1-0
ADB Sideload Service inside TWRP not starting
normal ADB commands ARE working
fastboot mode is working
OS Version / OS not detected, not installable, not bootable (no matter which one)
