Unofficial release -TWRP recovery for the Galaxy A5 - SM-A510F/FD/Y/M, Exynos7580
TWRP 3.0.3-0 MM build released.
Now working on Marshmallow
MTP working
ADB working
TWRP is now v3.0.3-0
SEANDROID warning fix
UI colour fix
New feature available in TWRP 3.0.0-0 is system image backup and restore and factory image flashing (see TWRP changelog for details)
Basically this means factory images from the official firmware can now be flashed with TWRP instead of ODIN. I have extended this feature to include BOOT, RECOVERY, SYSTEM, CACHE, HIDDEN and RADIO(MODEM) partitions.
This feature can be found under INSTALL >> INSTALL IMAGE >> select image to flash >> select partition.
NOTE: To flash the modem, first it needs to be renamed to modem.bin.img
F2FS support
Internal SUPERSU root option removed. This is to prevent boot loops on 5.11/6.0 devices
Internal official TWRP app to flash ad system app before reboot
Based on custom kernel ready for nougat boot
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
Instructions:
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Uncheck Auto reboot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
After flashing and ODIN reports PASS immediately reboot to recovery by holding POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN.
As soon as the screen goes blank change to VOL UP whilst still holding POWER + HOME.
You should now see TWRP recovery.
NOTE: ON SOME ANDROID 5.1.1/6.0 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.

Thanks for providing the image!
When installing the image via Odin or flashify, I just get "Recovery: Seandroid not enforcing".
The phone boots as it should, but I can't enter the Recovery.
I've installed TWRP 3.0.2 currently.
Would appreciate any help! Thanks
Still getting SEANDROID is not enforcing error. I can enter the recovery but that error is just annoying
Thanks
So it now works in nougat the same link

Simple Questions Give some easy answers!!
I won't complicated things. just give me a clear answer.
What i have:
1. Xperia z2 stock .264 installed
2. Unlocked Bootloader
3. Nut xperia dual recovery installed
My question:
1. How to install this recovery? fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ??
2. Or do i need to use flashtool? if so, then give a screenshot of what should be marked while flashing(I don't wanna end up bricking my phone).
3. What isn't working on this recovery or What is actually working can't seem to find that. hmm, or it's a stable one(works most of the important things)?
I have multirom twrp 2.7.8.0, can I update it with this?

Can we use this with Official Marshmallow beta firmware?
Also, I've heard that xperia series doesn't have recovery partition so users should use FOTA partition which enabled by custom kernel.
I guess when user press a volume key, some script in custom kernel detect that and let the user enter the TWRP.
My question is, how do we enter the recovery when we have UNLOCKED bootloader, but sony STOCK kernel? Does volume key entering method enable just by flashing this twrp img?
At first you need to flash the New Bootloader (you can do this when you flash the .264 firmware with flashtool (flashing via twrp does not work))
Then install this recovery via fastboot to recovery
After that this recovery works with MM
simply hold vol down while booting
i cant flash this recovery and original twrp via fastboot and i dont know why , i have rooted Z2 with unlocked bootloader.Debugging i have on too.
I used flashtool to get the phone in to fastboot mode, coz I'm lazy. I opened up a cmd window and typed something similar too..
Fastboot flash recovery twrp3.img
@championswimmer pls update this recovery sir, because official twrp aren't work with newest bootloader

Hi guys, i ported the app DualBootPatcher by @chenxiaolong, and now works on our phones (With some bugs, but nothing important, at least for me)
What Works:
Zip patching
Rom Switching
In-App flashing
What doesn't works:
Ramdisk Patching in primary rom
App sharing between roms
How to install secondary rom:
Install the app
Go to the menu and select "Patch Zip File"
Select the desired flasheable Zip
In the "Partition Configuration" option, select "Data slot" or "Extsd slot", and put whatever name
After you get the patched file go to "ROMs" and push the circle with a phone icon, then select your patched file (the app will prompt if you want to change the installation path, select keep) and the app will start to flash.
Select the desired rom, and reboot
After the secondary rom booted, install the app to change to the primary rom again.
(Also there is a shortcut called "leaks", don't worry about, it's for memory leaks detection)
Both roms need root, you can flash supersu the same way you flashed the secondary rom

Soo. When I boot in recovery, which ROM is addressed? I'm guessing the first one. If that's right, how do you flash anything onto the secondary one?

I'm using this Magisk-v14.3 and it's working fine for me in beta 25 and 26... I'm using blue spark twrp 50.... I didn't have any problems with it....

Did you go through the process of disabling SELinux or was it unnecessary? Because without SELinux working, we can't call this a good version. But if SELinux is working, we are good.

Is it the latest version (50)?? You may try posting in blue spark thread. Try reflashing the recovery. Try flashing an old version like v47
