One click root apps doesn't seem to work for my device. However, I would loike to root my device without a PC. Are there any solutions?
Device Info:
No solution without pc as I know, cf autoroot works on that version, don't forget to enable oem unlock before rooting

Are you sure that my device version is included in the list of device on the cf autoroot webpage?
I searched through the list of devices found one that has the Exynos version, build name and same Android Version as mines but the build number is different.
SOLVED - I used TWRP provided by @ashyx

Hi guys, need some help rooting as I've tried 4 processes so far without success..
Here's the device specs
Android: 4.4.2
Kernel: 3.4.0+
Build: KOT491.D41510e
I tried towel root (apparently only works with build c), wondershare mobilego, 2 XDA guides:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-lg-firmwares-kitkat-lollipop-t3056951
I got as far as rebooting into download mode and while the device said "ROOTED" in red text, there was no activity in the command line script as it was "Waiting for device.." and the progress bar on the phone was stuck at 0%.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-lg-g3/development/root-twrp-root-twrp-tmo-lg-g3-t2821005
I connected the device and the first time it did recognize it, but after hitting enter to proceed , it says Error your phone is not running a compatible software version. no vulnerable mode detected.
Any other ideas?
This should help you out
Those root methods will not work on version D41510e. You have 2 options to root the device.
1: You can downgrade to firmware D41510c via LG Flash Tool, and root with towelroot. Thanks to gdjindal's guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-l90/general/guide-flash-stock-kdz-offline-lg-l90-t2803479
2:You can root without having to downgrade, using the following method by G33kSQUAD

the guide I tried previously http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g...lipop-t3056951 appears to be the author of the script G33kSQUAD uses, but it appears successful this time.
I'm thinking I may have forgotten to run the supersu app.

Link to Russian Language Enabler (Must Root Phone): http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2451670
Edit: Several members have used a site called cellunlocker.net to unlock their devices. I have not used it and I cannot promise they will be able to do it. You can try, but you do so at your own risk.

To root my T-mobile Note 4 may I use this instruction (my model supported)?: http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...sy-steps-stock-odin-n910tuvu1anih-cf-t2903733
http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...sy-steps-stock-odin-n910tuvu1anih-cf-t2903733
So my actions are:
1. Get unlocking code from cellunlocker (the can help with that)
2. Rooting my Android 4.4.4. with this instruction
3. Unblock hidden languages with this App
That's cool, but is there a way to flash latest Android Lolipop after all that steps? and root it after.

You can install Lollipop first and I would recommend that. Your steps:
1.) Odin Lollipop firmware version COG2 found here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347789159
2.) Set up your device (Google and Samsung account login)
3.) CF-Autoroot your new Lollipop firmware
4.) Go to Play Store and update SuperSU then reboot
5.) Install Language unlocker
After that you should be done!

How to do step 3 with CF-Autoroot ?
Where to take newer firmware updates as it needs to be rooted to enable languages. But this makes auto firmware updates impossible?

For step 3 follow the instructions in post 2: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4/orig-development/sm-n910-cf-auto-root-t2897428
You can use CF-Autoroot on Lollipop 5.0.1 which is what COG2 is.
If you root your phone you cannot do automatic updates. You can flash new updates with Odin just like you will do with COG2 and CF-Autoroot.

And if i'm already on 5.1.1. Android?
As for manual newer version flashing, where to take new undates once I get rooted? Is there a way to flash new firmaweres saving all apps and settings?

You are not on 5.1.1 because T-Mobile hasn't released it for the SM-N910T. If you are on 5.1.1 then you know how to do the upgrades and you don't need my help anymore.
If for some reason you are on 5.1.1 follow TEKHD's guide in the "General" forum to root your phone.

Just install the latest TWRP via ODIN and then flash the latest SuperSU via TWRP.

By default, it would be systemless, but if you need System mode, you would need to use another zip found under SuperSU subforum.

No problem here, using EPJ2 (stock, debloated, root, xposed) everything working fine.
Which version of TWRP you are trying, and what is the ODIN version?

Forgot to update my post but I fixed it by allowing OEM unlock in the developer option.
For some reason I don't have the OEM check box in my developer options. I haven't been able to root my phone in months.

You can't Odin twrp or flash supersu in twrp?
Sent from my SM-N9300 using Tapatalk
No it wont let me do any of this. These are the files I have. I tried to flash the TWRP and it hangs. Does I thought I had to use CF ROot to root the phone first? Have I forgotten how to root? http://imgur.com/a/FMfeC

I believe this option is only for T3 model not the regular T model.

Again if you regular T model, use the files related to your model.

The bootloader on the N950U and N950U1 are locked and cannot be unlocked so you can't use twrp or cf autoroot.. There's ways to get root access but I don't know if your bootloader level version is supported you'll need to search that one..

Read this thread for root for SM-N950U/U1/W
But it's for bootloader v7 and below.

Edit for corrections....
Hi guys,
I'm sorry in advance if this was addressed already. I just bought an unlocked S20 FE (G781U1) online because I wanted it to be my gaming device. I saw videos and xda threads online about rooting and unlocking the bootloader. I am sure I followed all the steps correctly when installing ADB and fastboot. However right at the steps where I type "fastboot oem unlock", it keeps failing. My device can be detected when i type both adb devices and fastboot devices so I was sure I am following the right steps. I even tried typing the "fastboot flashing unlock" and that also came up as a command failed. Am I doing something wrong or do I need to install new fastboot/adb drivers?
Here is a screen shot from my device information.
Also, in the off chance that this is not possible to unlock the bootloader or root, is there a way to optimize the phone's gaming performance such as overclocking cpu/gpu? I have only debloated the samsung softwares.
Thanks in advance everyone!
Samsung phones don't natively support fastboot in this way for unlocking (or anything else). also worse still you have a U1 model i.e. a US model which sadly don't have unlockable bootloaders by normal means.
if it's on very early firmware it's possible that a paid service may be able to unlock it for you. having looked at your screenshot this doesn't apply here.

Thanks for the reply.
Man, I was hoping I was just doing something wrong instead.
So this phone is pretty much impossible to be rooted at this current time? I was looking on the xda threads on kingoroot but it seems like everyone is saying they are pretty shady. I was thinking if I could use that tool, I could root it and overclock my phone then reverse everything (kingoroot stuff) and hope the overclock would stay?
