[Q] HELP! GingerDX crappy sound problem

I had recently installed the GingerXperia rom on my W8 and it worked fine inspite of some wifi issues...after a month i installed the GingerDX (to get rid of the wifi issues) on my phone without any full wipe 'cause both of them were CM and i retain all my contacts, logs,SMS, Apps etc.
This ROM works fine without any wifi bugs but, when i listen to songs on my speakerphone, the sound becomes a bit crappy in some words of the song. I also tried to adjust the equalizer into many different options..still no improvement.
Someone please help me with this problem and suggest what should i do.
Thanks and Regards !
[Additional: One of my friend suggested me a full wipe. He said if i don't do it, i could experience some bugs.]
Full wipe is the best thing to Do
You can always backup your contacts sms and such stuff with my backup (free on play)
Sent from a X8 using my thumbs
Initiate a full wipe !!!
Backup and restore all your data via Titanium Backup.
Also , please mention what kernel you are on.
it's not an equalizer problem. Is this problem on your earphones as well ?
If the problem persists , flash another ROM and see what happens.

i have'nt tried full wipe yet, i'll do it today...thanks everyone for ur worthy help!
Take note about this.
Always do Fullwipe esp when you came from different ROM series.
i would recommend sync ur contacts with google and backup ur apps with titanium backup... And then full wipe. But i dont know really does it change anything cuz i dont use gingerdx cuz it works only on alfs for dx and my phones wifi works only like 5 mins with that.. I recommend minicm7 and nAa kernel no bugs and it is the best rom i have used..

Baseband Requests optimus 2x p990 Gingerbread

Hi,
I am from India and a newbie to Android world.
I have a LG stock ROM(optimus 2x p990 Gingerbread). The factory version of the ROM is LGP990AT-00-V20e-ESA-XXX-OCT-28-2011.
The baseband is 1035.21_20110725
After taking a backup of image of Stock ROM with CWM,I have installed Gueste 2x v3.6 Hybrid Revolution, with symbiosis kernel.I have found it to be stable with good GUI
I have observed a heavy battery drain, with RIL v10d(Europe)
I am planning to flash 218 baseband as suggested by stefan.
But before doing so, I want to clear my doubts and have few requests
1) what are the best settings for a good battery life? I am switching to 2g networks when not surfing/downloading.
I am also using lots of apps, for my kid, who uses my mobile for a hour or so.
2)In case I need to go to Stock LG ROM, where can I get the original baseband, as I do not find it it anywhere, so as to to restore the CWM backup.
3) Stefan- Your ROM is wonderful. I have got few requests. Can you please port the stock LG Messaging app, Contacts app & "Backup & Restore" app .
Thanks
I am also from India.
I am using 0725 Baseband with v20d(Asia) RIL.
I dont have any battery problems whatsoever on this baseband and RIL combo. I get a straight 1 and half day on moderate usage (Few call and texting, 2g browsing for an hour or so, some music listening)
Battery drain wont be always due to baseband. It may also depend on some of the Apps you use which run in background.
Check the battery usage from the settings and see which program is using most of your battery.
Press "THANKS" if this helped.
Use the search function instead of starting a new thread. Please close this one.
Thanks Shane582.
I am sure that the battery drain was due to wrong bb (725) and RIL(v10d Europe).
As I am unable to get the LGP990AT-00-V20e-ESA-XXX-OCT-28 version of KDZ, I had posted the mail here, hoping that some one may help me.
Anyway this is not required now.
Also since this was my first post, I couldn't thank Stefan for his superb ROM( Gueste 2x v3.6 Hybrid Revolution )
found at the link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1464986
Also I do a search properly, hoping to find a solution. Hence till date for the past one month, I was able to flash CWM, 5 different ROMs and come to a satisfactory solution for the issues faced.
Excepting for some rookies, I found the forum quite helpful, for sorting out all kinds of problems
Thanks everyone.

Battery Life is based on over clocking, wife, brightness. So if you want a rom search for stable roms such as cyanoegenmod 7 for mini.

Best ROM for Le2 x526?

Hi all,
i have bought this phone Le x526 Qualcomm version 3/32 GB. I noted that the internal memory was just 7.xx GB remaining. So I decided to Install TWRP and format Data partition. I successfully installed TWRP. My remaining internal storage is 14 GB plus.
Now I want to install a 3rd Party ROM which is best in performance and battery life.
Will anybody guide me to the best 3rd party ROM in this regard? PLEASE DON'T TELL TO EXPERIMENT BY MYSELF AS I HAVE NO TIME AND EXPERTISE TO INSTALL DAILY ONE ROM. I WANT A SINGLE TIME INSTALL. I SHALL BE MUCH THANKFUL TO YOU FOR THIS KINDNESS.
I just recently got this phone also. I installed Lineage 14.1 last week and find it great. The oreo roms are fancy but Lineage 14.1 just works. Ota update worked good for me last night with no problems. Not planning to change roms anytime soon. Hope this helps.
Thank you very much for the answer. I installed MIUI rom. Working well. I may try Lineage rom if slim and good battery backup. @macbroom
"...My remaining internal storage is 14 GB plus..."
Kinda on the low side, hm?
After the fat lady sung here for me, I am left with 19 GB.
Did you do some twrp backup to internal memory?
From EUI to kludgy MIUI?
Man, you're a masochist.
"I may try Lineage rom if slim and good battery backup."
So after all, not a single install, daily ROM installation type of use case, welcome to Flash-o-holic Anonymous club.
@macbroom - how's the idle battery drain with Lineage 14.1? I installed it last weekend, but battery drain is really bad ... If you are good, did you use any tool to tune it? thanks!
The battery life for me is excellent........but I don't have my sim in this phone! My trusty old $50 Homtom HT3 phone pulls in a signal like no tomorrow, never drops a signal, and lasts for days on a charge!
If your signal is weak, this phone drains battery, from what I observed.
