Android Instant Apps - LeEco Le 2 Questions & Answers

I'm on Resurrection Remix 5.8.1 (or Android 7.1.1) by Rishabh Rao. I am curious about the Android Instant Apps feature. I've heard that the feature is available for devices running on Nougat. I've checked for the toggle to switch on "Instant apps" in Settings -> Google but couldn't find it. When will it come with the ROM?

Recent Apps Protection

Hi!
I would like to use this feature on T710 Nougat. I could use it on 6.0.1 by adding this line to others.xml in system/csc:
<CscFeature_SystemUI_SupportRecentAppProtection>TRUE</CscFeature_SystemUI_SupportRecentAppProtection>
But in Nougat it won't work. On my S6 edge Nougat it works fine. I read that Nougat has native support for this feature, any ide how to activate it?
Best regards
Christian
EDIT:
The feature is there, there's a new 3 dot menu up in right corner.

Halo[paranoid android feature] on any nougat rom

I was in search from Long time halo feature which was abandoned by paranoid android team which is quite useful to reply any apps notification via chathead.
There are so Many apps released after that but no One as useful as this.
Finally xposed module UNIQUE CONTROL bring back it with pie Control and Halo.
But specially i am. Talking about halo.
You must have xposed installed and this module

Install it, activate it and use it

[DISCONTINUED][DEAD-LINKS][ROM][9.0][SM-G935F]Team Pixel Pie 1.0 [31/05/2019]

PixelPie 1.0 -By Team Pixel
Hey Everyone! PixelPie is a custom firmware that ports almost all of the features from a Pixel Device to a Samsung Firmware. This build has been based on the Pixel 3. It has been very deeply debloated and optimized for performance, whilst also bringing in many Pixel Features to our devices. It has also undergone a beta test ring, so most if not all of the listed features should be working! Here is a feature list:
Features:
1. AdAway
2. Google Calculator
3. Google Calendar
4. GCam 8.3
5. Samsung Stock Camera with Massive HDR parameter changes, while also debloated (4k30 at HDR- Not Fully Tested)
6. Google Chrome
7. Google Clock
8. Google Contacts
9. Google Files GO (File Manager)
10. Samsung Gallery (Stripped Down and lightened to improve performance)
11. GPay (Working Payment Method along with NFC functionality)
12. Google Keep (With Handwriting Libs)
13. Google Lens (Bixby Visions Alternative but works within Google Photos and Pixel Recents)
14. Magisk 19.0 Prebuilt (No Need For Seperate Flash)
15. Google Messages
16. Mtweaks 14.0 (Has GPU Control)
17. Eleven Music (Lineage OS 15.1)
18. Google Phone (Ported Framework for full functionality)
19. Google Photos (Warning: Set upload quality to high quality, since it will attempt to upload in original quality because it thinks it is a Pixel)
20. Google Play Games
21. Settings debloated, along with framework
22. App Lock (Settings)
23. SystemUI Tuner (Updated)
24. Google Tasks
25. YouTube Vanced
26. Correctly Scaled Pixel Boot Animation (Pixel 2XL)
27. Google Sounds, animations, framework and configs.
28. Pixel Launcher with new gesture navigation and recents menu (Not Pill Navigation)
29. Digital Wellbeing
30. Dolby Atmos (With Gaming Mode) with Correct Tuning and Gain (Main Speaker has most power and Earpiece just adds detail and treble)
31. GBoard and New Pie Emojis (Not Samsung Ones)
32. Incredibly Deep Debloat and DeKnoxed (Same as last time for performance and battery improvements)
33. VoLTE Supported
34. Pixel 3 Live Wallpapers with Normal Wallpapers too.

CHANGELOG 1.0:
1. Initial Release
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bugs:
1.Aod tap to wake
2.Gear Watch Connection
3.FP in some secured apps like PayPal
4. Stuttering is occurring for some unknown reason atm. I am aware of the issue and I'm working with the dev of BlackDiamond to fix this. It's probably a small config file gone rogue and nothing more. I'll also be getting a S7 to test everything out on the June 20th, so that is most likely when you will begin to see major improvements
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Notes:
1. RAM management when fresh installed idles around 2GB Free
2. ROM Size has fallen to 1.7 GB(Unpacked) from 2.5 GB (Stock)
3. Device Maintenance swapped for Files GO and SystemUI Tuner. To view Battery Stats and Storage, pull down the Quick Settings Panel and on the top right click the three bubbles button and then Button Order. Then move the new Battery and Storage icon to the Quick Settings.
5. Make sure you set Google Dialer as your default phone app. Goto Settings/Apps. Click the three dots in the top right corner. Then click default apps. Then Calling App and select Phone.
6. After first boot, reboot your device once.
7. Substratum does still work, just remember to get Samsung Substratum themes.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Download the zip
2. Wipe System, Data, Dalvik and Cache
3. Flash the zip

Can't see no screen shot tab?
I absolutely love how this rom looks. Wonderful mix and match. But there are a few issues.
Sync is not great. I have to open my messaging apps manually to see if I have got any messages, the same is for voice calls. Closing the app means no sync. I would be happy to use this as my daily driver if the sync issue is solved.
The rom in general feels a little sluggish. It got better with a few reboots (Dalvic cache I suppose) but it's not silky smooth.
Battery and Storage are not in the settings menu and as you said, can only be accessed through the quick settings.
how about camera, last time i install pixel rom camera very poor and just make me revert back to custom stock rom
Sorry to say this rom for me at least runs so bad....... stuttering and long pauses mostly when other android 9 roms are so smooth.
It quick;y became unusable so I did a few reboots but still the same. sluggish behaviour and stuttering etc.
I ended up putting back on previous rom BlackDiamond.NFE.PIE.V3.0 and all is buttery smooth again.

Yeah, I'm working on that. I really have no clue what's causing this hitch, but rest assured, things will only get better after the 20th, when I get my hands on an actual s7 and rebuild step by step.

General Android 13 for Zenfone 8

ASUS has officially released Android 13. Maybe it's good for the owners to share the experience.
This is what I read from the ASUS' support website:
ZenFone 8/8Z (ZS590KS) Android 13 software Image:WW-33.0210.0210.210 for WW/EU/RU/IN/TW SKUs
Version WW-33.0210.0210.210 3.2 GB 2023/01/13
Improved Item:
#Updated from previous Android 13 version:
1. Updated Android security patch to 2023-01-05
#Updated from Android 12:
1. Please back up your data before upgrading to Android 13. If you want to downgrade your device’s software version to Android 12 by official software package, it will erase all data from your device’s internal storage.
2. Upgraded system to Android 13
3. Revamped Mobile Manager, Contacts, Phone, Emergency Dialer, File Manager, Calculator, Clock, Gallery, Weather, Sound recorder, Settings, Data Transfer, Local backup, and so on.
4. Adjusted Quick Settings panel, notification tray, and volume panel to Android 13 design
5. Added the notification permission feature. You can adjust the permission of each apps in the Apps & notifications Settings.
6. System clipboard added "Auto delete" and editor features
7. Added the QR code scanner option for the lock screen shortcut feature, and the Control from locked device feature in the Security & lock screen setting
8. According to Digital Wellbeing setting, system color scheme can be set to automatically switched by the bedtime option
9. Adjusted the Vibration & haptic strength setting, Display and font size setting, and the width/length of navigation white bar when choosing gesture navigation
10. Changed to the Blocked numbers setting in Phone to stock behavior. You will not receive calls or texts from blocked numbers.
11. Removed the Call duration setting
12. Replaced original Style settings to new Wallpaper & style settings - Remove shape option, support Themed icons, and the system color is reset to blue.
13. Added link quick share feature in ASUS Launcher
14. Added Asus customization preferences setting. Allows applying the collection of commonly used customization settings with one click.
15. Removed the ‘Calm’ and ‘Elegant’ options in the Power button menu style setting.
16. Adjusted the design of the dialpad and contacts details page in the Phone app to display information more clearly.
17. Some 3rd party apps are not compatible with Android 13 yet
18. Upgrade system modes to the latest version, including "High performance", "Dynamic", "Durable" and "Ultra durable." Game Genie is also upgraded to the latest version, to allow quick switching of system modes in games.
Im on beta at Version WW-33.0210.0210.180 and if they don't broke anythink i can recommend upgrade to A13. It works much better
Good to hear. Just want do double-check, the upgrade won't erase anything, right? I understand it's always recommended to perform a backup first.
The upgrade won't erase anything, don't worry
Yea, A13 work perflecty
Confirmed working on the EU variant.
Of this update, what I like most is the possibility to shrink the enormous quick tiles to smaller icons. But the first time you boot Android 13 it's hard to tell the difference from the previous version.
I also updated to this firmware. It's great. Much smoother and less bugs (so far). Also, the small quick setting tiles are back!

No, it REC button shows the same as on A12.
No need to activate it differently.
Thanks. I had to downgrade because it doesn't show for me. I tried googling it, but Google has kinda sucked for about two years now. Are there any troubleshooting guides for this?
Just received OTA update to version TKQ1.220807.001.33.0210.0210.296
