"Display size" option is missing with B378 - Huawei P9 Questions & Answers

Hi all,
I've updated my P9 to Build L09C432B378 and as it were at the repair centre for about 2 weeks, my mobile operator gave me a Samsung Galaxy S7 as "replacement" during the repair process of my P9.
With Android 7, Google implemented the "Display size" option to resize all OS-items to your wishes, but I can't find any option like that on my P9..
Because I'm a big fan of small fonts and menu items, I'd like using that feature on my P9 either.
Do you maybe know any options for me?
Thank you in advance

I also prefer different DPI, it was only reason why i rooted my devices before.
That option is in Programming settings-> "minimal width"

[Q] Where is "Lock SMS App" in CyanogenMod 9 settings

Hello, everyone!
I have a little question: in CyanogenMod 7 there is an option [In the "Performance" tab] called "Lock SMS App" (something like this). It basically makes the phone not to miss any SMS in cases of low memory.
I tried to find this option in CyanogenMod 9 (IScreamDX) and I don't know where it is. Does anybody know?
Thank you in advance!

[Q] Missing option to enable widgets.

My Huawei Ascend P7 runs Android version 4.4.2, EMUI 3.0.
I'm unable to setup widgets on my lockscreen (swiping left/right just unlocks the screen), and there is no "Enable WIdgets" option in Settings > Security.
I read this thread, and tried downloading some new themes, different from the Balance one, but the option still doesn't show up. I tried changing lock screen methods as well (Huawei Unlock, PIN, ...) but still no trace of the option.
Any hint? My goal was to have Google Calendar on lock screen (pretty much like what happens on Windows Phone), so I'd be fine with a work-around as well.
Thanks in advance.

Lock screen notifications no longer displayed.

Hi everyone.
As the title implies, my P10 Lite no longer displays any notification information when the screen is locked, even though I have set the notification setting to show all content. The notifications DID work, but simply stopped working all of a sudden.
I have also Reset all settings, but the issue still persists. I have gone through all of my themes, lock screen types, but they simply will NOT show no matter what I do. Some app notifications don't even pulse the notification light. The device plays the notification sound, but nothing is displayed in the lock screen.....
Please help.. This is rather annoying
If i use a lockscreen from the Theme app that is not made by EMUI i dont get notifications. Are you sure the lockscreen is made by EMUI?
You need to set the 'screen lock style' to 'Magazine unlock' found under settings -> 'the Screen lock & passwords'
Hi guys, is there anyway I can have "always on" Samsung feature on my p10 without using any app like glance plus etc. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know there isn't natively an always on display like on the s8 for the p10. The only option you have for an always on display is to use a third-party one like AcDisplay. (Correct me if I'm wrong though)
Edit: There is an option to let the screen never sleep during charging in developer options but I'm not sure if that's what you were looking for.
This finally solved my problem
After the update on my Huawei P10 Lite the notifications don't show on my lock screen. I tried everything - changed the theme (everyone I have), changed the settings and nothing. Every time I have to unlock my phone to see if I have some new notifications. Please help, it's really anoying.
Huawei P10 Lite notification doesnt show on lock screen after updating
Hi
Could you solve the problem with notification? I`m also struggling with that and dont know what to do,tried everything what was suggested.
Hello, I cant display the notification panel while my phone Its locked. After de update I could. Anyone knows what to do?
The problem with notifications on lock screen on huawei p10 lite i was able to solve on this way: As someone wrote earlier you need to go to 'Settings'-'the Screen lock & passwords' and set the 'screen lock style' to 'Magazine unlock'. Then go to 'Theme'-'Customize' and under 'Me' choose lock screen wallpaper that you want. The only problem that I have now after i've done all that is that notifications apear on my lock screen and make a sound but doesn't lite up. If anyone knows the solution to this problem please write.
the problem is that i dont like magazine unlock, is there another way?
Can anyone who has rooted emui 4 phone(probably Huawei/Honor) extract it's default theme so we can figure out how to make a theme with lock screen notification enabled

Tiny Notification Icons on AOD & Lockscreen

Is there a way to make the Notification Icons on AOD & Lockscreen larger?
I've searched the settings and the Google for an answer. I assume it's 'no', but I am hoping there is a way, because it's hard to see what they are, especially without glasses.

Have you looked in the accessibility section of settings to see if there's anything specific to AOD/Lockscreen options?
With all of the 9.0 Betas/leaks & regional/carrier stable versions of 8.1,there's a possibility some phones may have something & others don't.......
I'm not seeing anything specific to AOD/Lockscreen on SM-N960U1 official 9.0 beta, but,if you're on any of the 9.0 betas, perhaps Assistant Menu may be of help (Settings > Accessibility >Interaction & Dexterity >Assistant Menu > Assistant Menu Options)
The floating menu button with this may be of help when Magnifier Window is selected as one of the menu options.
It's definitely not the most polished solution I could find,if it even works on the AOD/Lockscreen,but,it's the closest thing I could find to what you're looking for.
The only other option I could think of is looking for lockscreen &/or icon resizing apps in the Google Play Store that may address this.

P30 pro changes settings automatically

Hello everyone
I have this very weird problem with my Huawei p30 pro AL00 model.
after I change my settings, the phone automatically changes it back without any pop-up or whatever.
For instance, I changed the notification settings to show banners for some apps. As soon as press back, the setting changes back to default, which is no banners. I have tried it for like 10 times and I can't change my notification settings. They change back!!!!
Has anyone experienced this?
I bought this phone 3 days ago. brand new phone. I have also turned off the automatic app launch settings and stuff related to notifications.
You need to update your device to the latest version to fix the issue
