[Q] Root and network unlock?

How do you unlock the galaxy note so it will work on other sims?
Can you just flash it with a different rom?
I'm not paying for an unlock code, I want to do the root method.

Need Unlock 10$

Hello I need an unlock for my droid 3, its clean esn and all.
I purchased one from unlock fusion but I received the wrong unlock, it just said (000000)
If anyone is willing to call in for an unlock code from verizon I'll pay 10 dollars via paypal.
also you can find me on ebay at johnnykfry since I'm a relatively new member.

unless verizon has changed their policy
the device needs to be active on verizon to be unlocked
and verizon is a major pain to deal with

did you give correct imei, should look like imei: 355478041226756

I have used the unlock code from, http://cellunlocker.net/motorola-unlock.php
to unlock my Droid 3 XT 862 today!
I received the code in 2 hours. Unlocking is a breeze.
Take note though, most device has 10 tries. If you have exceeded 5 tries already (from other unlocker services or you have anyhow input), please do not attempt to unlock.
Instead, contact the person in charge of the above service for help.

Huawei has closed the unlock web for China, too. Maybe Huawei will never let its phones unlockable.

you mean your "own" unlock code? or you have a tool that generates Huawei unlock codes?

This won't work. It requires you to have the unlock key. :/

I asked an unlock code by mail at mobile(at)huawei(dot)com and received THIS :
"Dear Customer,

Does this require unlock bootloader first?

What are the benefits of installing this over my T-mobile software? No root yet, right? Does it at least unlock the Sim?

Yes but you will loose all your advanced features(wifi calling, HD voice, etc.)

None, it doesn't unlock the sim or allow root. Most people use this to remove carrier bloatware or as a stepping stone to convert from one carrier firmware to another.

I had auto update off and it did a auto update to June 1 will this no longer work? I've been waiting to hear back about the Hotspot I asked about and yesterday it did a auto update

I believe the latest U1 firmware and Latest AT&T firmware match(both end in ARF4) so you should be able to still do this.

Would you by chance have a link to latest
