Flashing Instructions
Download correct version of Hyper kernel
Make backup of system, boot in twrp
Flash the kernel zip and reboot
In case the kernel doesn't boot, you can restore your system and boot partition from twrp and you will not lose any data.
I am currently using CM13 with prebuild stock miui kernel and have no problems with exFAT formated ext. sdcard. So stock miui kernel suports exFAT.
If you have added it in your build it means Xiaomi did not release kernel source with exFAT support. Is that right?
Thanks for your kernel
Please add KCal support to your kernel

1728Mhz CPU & 487 Mhz GPU is the limit.
Thanks for the information.
I have the kernel installed. I would like to increase the limit of GPU and CPU.
Want to play games with the tablet.
I can test it at my own risk, then we participate
all of them?
I think for the developer it is a "5 minute project" to increase the limits.
Then each user can decide for himself which limit he uses.
Use app like Kernel Adiutor to set clocks whatever you want withing specified limits.
P.S Though with overclock you'll get only monstrous battery disharge, but no suffucient performance boost. This 6 year old tablet is not for gaming....
Hello Palaych,
Thanks again for this kernel that makes my xperia tablet z running smooth and fast (10% to 20% faster without compromising battery capacity).
I would like to install this kernel in my xperia z (smartphone) but I don't really know what to modify to make it compatible. It is the same hardware. Only differences are a bigger screen, a bigger battery capacity, IR remote and no vibrator for xperia tablet z. Other components are strictly the same (CPU, GPU, RAM, ...).
Can you please help me by compiling MiPa kernel to make it compatible with my xperia z (yuga)?
If you're out of time to do so, could you please tell me what modifications to do? (If you have any documentation on how to build a kernel for xperia z, I am also interested in).
Thanks.

You can try, but some changes just can be merged in LOS, due to their policy.
quick noob question (never flashed a custom kernel before):
I'm currently running the unofficial lineageOS 16 ROM. If I now flash this kernel here, and then later onflash an update of the entire ROM: is it correct to assuem that I would then have to flash the kernel again after the ROM is updated?

- 2. can you explain to me what the Wireguard support is about? How can I use Wireguard afterwards?

1. If you flash magisk version you dont need to install magisk anymore, its included in the kernel. No magisk version is pure kernel without magisk.
2. Wireguard is very lightweight but also very strong modern VPN service. Its included in the kernel because then we can run those tunnels within kernel space rather than normal VPN tunnels in user space. It saves battery a LOT.
You can find more information about wireguard from their official website.

Yes it does. Oneplus did not change kernel in the update.
Anyone try this kernel with LineageOS 18.1?
I have flashed the Magisk variant, unfortunately Wireguard VPN does not work. I tested bluspark and other Kernal, there is no problem to use Wireguard VPN.
To the nonmagik variant I can not say anything, this I have not tested.
Got the boot from OB1 & OB2, both of them work with latest official OTA but the start is slower than the official OTA Boot.
I am sure in the Beta boot One+ has added plenty of logs to track stuff.
Are you able to look at this and maybe remove all the craps out of them.
I have posted OB1 boot / magisked and OB2 boot/ magisked.
Otherwise those OB boot seem very responsive and make a very good feeling !

I'm looking for an A13 ROM or Kernel for this device which has wireguard kernel module support baked in. AFAIK the last one I'd used was the fsociety tribute kernel for A12 but have since moved on. I feel like there has to be something? I was looking in to building the kernel from source and adding it in myself - but I currently don't have the hardware to achieve this task. Any help would be super.
Disregard unless you want to share your preferred option. Found Sleepy Kernel via the fsociety telegram channel. Works like a charm!
