Hy guys,
I just trade yesterday my Go Pro for a Xperia Z4 SOV31 and it's locked on AU Japan.
I tried to unlock it by the IMEI , but when i place the sim card from Romania , it does not show me the digits to unlock it.
I went to the sim lock menu and it's like this:
[ ] Network 0
[x] Network Subset 10
[ ] Service Provider 0
[ ] Corporate 0
[ ] SIM 0
Detail SIM Lock info:
Version: 2
Configuration :
Max Attempts : 10
Test IMSI : len 0
Can anyone help me? Can i do something to this phone to unlock it?

Did you solve it? I am facing the same issue. I got code but the phone doesn't ask me the code.
According to an unlock SIM website for Sony Xperia Z, I found the answer here to the question "How to unlock Sony Xperia Z by code ?"
It says: "The most important thing to check, before you make an order is the code counter status. Code counter that shows all 0 cannot be unlocked. There are no tries left to enter the code to the Sony Xperia Z."
From the two queries above, it seems both members have network counters with zero. I guess that might mean having to go back to the original phone network provider for their unlock service.

Hi, I wonder why all of a sudden i am unable to search/detect my 3g network from my provider any more. 2g network is ok. APN is installed correctly.
Information of my phone:
Model number : GTI9000
Firmware version : 2.3.6
Baseband version : I9000XXJW4

i had tried to factory reset and re-flash my rom, but doesn't help. No idea which has cause the problem? Is it sim card problem or the network searching function of my phone's problem? anyone can help please ~ >.<
p/s : the area i stay definitely is under my 3g network provider's coverage as my friend can detect to the 3g network and register to it with his phone just beside with my phone and my phone can't.

b)My network provider is Umobile,
there should be 2 choices for me , 1 is umobile2g and another is umobile3g, but i can only detect umobile2g as the picture which is shown below.

Someone can help pls?I have try to reflash to other rom using Odin, wipe cache, factory reset, but still doesn't help, is it problem with my baseband corruption or problem with my radio?i can send sms,receive call,wifi,gps, Only 3G!is there anyway to reset my radio ?Why I just cannot detect for the specific network I want...anyone help pls,any hints or anything that might help? zzzzz

How about broken wcdma module? I have the same issue with my Xperia Play. Looking for repair so curius on what is causing my 3g issues, 2g works.

I came here from sensation xda theard because:
Yesterday night a friend ask me to activate him the 3g mobile data on a tablet, I tooked out the sim from the tablet to put it in my phone an I9000 factory unlocked and then to check the apn settings to set them in the tablet, I saw the settings and did the correct settings but when I put back my sim in the phone the phone ask me for network unlock code ..... I check also the sim in another phone and guess what, the sim is broken I will go to replace it but what shell I do with the phone wich is asking me about the sim unlock code I tried allso to flash it with original firmware by odin and allso I put inside a good sim from the same carrier..... Please help me

IF you had USIM card lock activated in settings>locations and security>.setup USIM card lock> you need to untick lock USIM card and remove password.
If you did not activate it, try 00000 or 0000 (would be default password) not too sure look up your user manual would have information concerning it. You can download user manual from PIT STOP link below

I just bought a SIM unlock code through eBay. I have also done this process successfully in the past with my AT&T HTC One X and it worked flawlessly when I took the device abroad and inserted a foreign SIM; back then, I wasn't messing with custom ROMs so I have no way to conclude if the code seller is correct with his statement.
He wrote to me this:
"All codes are from factory and they don't normally fail. it must be the software on the phone which needs to updated to official latest ROM to enable it accept the code. The phone should ask for SIM NETWORK UNLOCK PIN."
I am now running the latest GPe on my AT&T HTC One; I am also S-OFF. This is a screenshot of my phone info:

I am unsure what I should do now... Should I backup and flash the stock ROM? If so, where do I find the one that is relevant for me? Will flashing the stock ROM cancel my unlocked bootloader, S-OFF, root?

that statement is a load of rubbish, your IMEI number on your phone never changes, and you have to give them that number and device model in order for them to generate your unlock code, correct ?
they are correct however in saying that the device will ask for the sim unlock code, but only when its been inserted with a different operators sim card, if its booting and working with a different operators sim in it, and not asking for the unlock pin, then its already unlocked.
your IMEI and model makes that unlock code specific to your phone and your phone only, doesn't matter what software you have on it.
either he has entered the wrong IMEI number or selected the wrong device when generating the unlock code, or you've given him the wrong number.

Hi, I found working method for backing up QCN via QFIL (QPST). Also You can enable some modes for diagnostics and engineering/testing/unlocking vowifi or volte.
Firstly You need to Authokendecrypt after entering *#9434* using Oppo Free Unlocker or Secrecy Unlocker (easy to find on Google or xda in region change topics). Then enter *#649010# and to unlock any option You need to enter Confirm code which is 6776 and You are ready to go to backup or restore IMEI and many more. I will upload full list of Engineer Codes pulled out from firmware, just need to get to my pc. Feel free to ask questions, i will try to help. Maybe we can find out something interesting. Im digging to find a way to root or unlock bootloader ofcourse... Or at least how to change region to Vietnam or India to unlock via official deeptesting app.

Guys I've a x60pp china... stuck to china 1.17.x with a mix of flashed partitions inside (switched to Funtouch then manually back to china)... at the moment any FULL OTA does not work showing this error: assert failed: update_dynamic_partitions (package_extract_file('dynamic_partitions_op_list))...
The phone boot up and works, anyway sensors are not properly working (e.g.: autobrightness, moviment) maybe because of some messed-up partitions.
@razor07b7 is disappeared and unluckly his flashing-tool seems my only chance to gey a 100% china rom regresh and fix all the rest (sensors).
Basically I need a FULL China restore that seems impossible to do manually via flashing each single partition from the 2 available China ROM on the web. Maybe the flashing procedure I'm using is not completed or wrong.
Any idea to get a FULL china roll-back?

This is normal if you stay with OriginOS Ocean... vivo has pathed the fw to avoid BL unlock...
To use the razor tool again you should downgrade the phone to OriginOS with the vivo official tool
i'm finding about method rollback to stock originOS ! Maybe New patch of OriginOs Ocean block BL
