Radio Version?

Hi all, could someone tell me which Radio version is best, its too many of them and i dont know which should I choose thx 4 future reply.
Depends on provider etc etc. I guess most people use 1.11.25.71 and 1.11.25.76. Just try and see which is the best for you
25.71 is the best so far.. 25.76 drains the hell out your battery.. u will be disappointed with your xperia in no time if u use 76.. i recommend 71..

[Q] Optimise my O2X

Just got my O2X and i want to optimise it so it uses less batteri and is as fast as possible.
I think im going to root it. And i want to remove ALL LG specific software. Is that possible?
Can i uninstall the antivirus? Havent had a virus in 10 year on my computer... why should i get it on the handset?
Any guides and optimisation tips is recieved with gratitude
Grab the MoDaCo vanilla ROM, it's a stock ROM that's had all the LG stuff binned off for the default Android apps, and is more optimised.

There isnt any word on a guaranteed update. Sure it was shown in the developer summit a Lumia 900 running 7.8 which of course in a way means that the 900 is definitely getting an update to 7.8.
So till further announcement by HTC,T-Mobile or may be Microsoft themselves we cannot be sure yet as to when we will get the update and how will we get it.
I am waiting for the SDK of Windows Phone 8 which is due probably this summer. Hopefully that build might have a fully functional working 7.8 which ROM devs can extract. I am on a custom ROM anyways.

i've been reading a couple of topics here about that... as what i've understand i have to downgrade something on my phone and you have to use the goldcard method... i'm not good with cables and soldering them together... so i don't think i'll be able to manage... and from where i am right now (PHILIPPINES)... it's an ANDROID/IOS infested place... most cellshops or cell technicians that do modds on phones... they only specialized on those O.S... so i just kept my phone official/mod free... i don't wanna risk having someone do something like that on my phone which they might end up breaking it... anyways the only thing that i would really love to do with my phone is accessing the storage using the USB CABLE... simply the idea of uploading my files to skydrive/dropbox/etc.. then downloading them again to my phone is stupid since i'm already beside my pc/laptop... got tons and tons of comics(cbr/cbz)/ebooks(epub/pdf) and files that i want to put on my phone but its just hassle because of how you have to do all of those...
if modding this phone won't involve hardware or opening the phone i believe i can manage... i mean i use to have an iphone and jailbreaking it doesn't need you to make your own cable just simply flashing a CFW or the like... and that goes the same with android...
anyways... simply the design and look of my HTC HD7 is awesome... i don't wanna let go of it... but now i'm TEMPTED to do that...

this 7.8 update is for all devices that have more memory then the lower end phones. our hd7 have 512 ram and 16gm memory, we will be getting the update. stop worrying.

Not to get off topic.... but Like backlashsid said, its a pretty easy process and it sounds more complicated than it really is. Plus you have tons of support here that are more then happy to help you through the process if you decide too! You might only need to do the Goldcard method/ Y cable if your spl is 5.xxx or higher and if you have a pre mango Zune backup you can do it that way with out the Y cable or if your spl is 4.xxx you don't have to use the Goldcardmethod either!
Back to the topic at hand... I believe we will get the 7.8 update as well, our devices are more than capable and suited to get it. For that matter we may even see some of the WP8 system on our devices, with some backwards compatibility we just might see a new home screen and some of the new apps that are coming to WP8. Probably not everything that will be available but possibly a chunk of it because it's suppose to run on duel core!

1)HD7 has 576MB of RAM, not 512....
2)Nobody has ever managed to jailbreak most of the mango updated devices, so he should be worried since he cannot flash it...
however HD7 doesn't support win8 even custom roms?

Really?
All the custom ROMS are completely dev and interop unlocked... The HD7 is completely open.
The only "downgrade" is to the bootloader. and there is no soldering required... you can buy the cables and adapter pretty much anywhere to just plug together
my hd7 updated to tango calm down we all going to 7.8

Yup, even most of the customs roms are already updated with it... I've been running Deepshining custom rom, v7.7 - Tango 8779 for a week now! That right there tells you that development for our devices isn't going to stop just yet!
sad as it may be...
our phones were not optimized for extended usages, wordament isnt playing nice and overall my phone has been feeling really sluggish, and i have a 32gb class 10. I think htc is doing this on purpose smh, but im with tmobile and i refuse to use the htc radar or the knock off lumia 710 that pales in comparison of design.... I need 4.3 inch screen.... I really like windows but something is wrong with my phone.

what things u can do on ROOTED phone is u can remove many apps that not u use, in other word 'bloatwares'.
some apps installed as 'system' so u cant remove it. the only way u can access /system is ROOTED phone.
some 'bloatwares' already known as battery-drainer.
if u can remove that 'drainer-app', u may can improve ur battery a bit.

[Q] Frequently flashing ROM

Hi all SGSA users.. i want to ask a question.. Does frequently flashing new custom ROM affect our phone's hardware..like chipset or whatever they are in this phone? Just wondering because everytime a new custom ROM is uploaded, i will test them.. Priority to all DEV's and expert to answer or give opinion regarding this issue..
No it will not... well at least not in a way that you would notice it. of course you loose some battery life by that (not more than when you would play with your smartphone in a normal manner) flash drives can be flashed up to a few 100,000 times and so it will not destroy your phone...
talking about software that might get messed up is another thing...

Some Flsh drives break after a few 1000 flashes but it ranges between a few 1000 and a few 100000 flashes
I mean that when you flash every single rom you get your hands onto chances are that you might break something. In other words, yes, soft or maybe even hardbrick (unsure about that). but if you are a bit aware of the dangers then there is not too much that can happen... If you always have a NANDroid backup then it is really really hard to do something bad enough to not be able to fix it.
Sorry for my bad english
Technically speaking, your nand gets derped every single time you flash it, and that includes official updates. But the difference is so small that you won't even notice it. If you somehow manage to preserve this device for the next 10 years in a working condition, you will feel the difference..
