I installed Allo, having been told that Google Assistant will come with it. I have a OP3T
After downloading it seems nothing more than Google Now?? Is there something else I need to do
I would really appreciate any help you can give
Hi @eric0668
Allo will allow you to use the google assistant only within the application it self. If you would like google assistant instead of google now then there are different ways to do that.
Thanks H3rnand3zz
In spite of the number of posts I am really a newbie.
1. So even when I open Allo, it seems no different than Google Now
2. Could you help me get it working like it does on the Pixel [Non root]. I had the Pixel and really liked Google Assistant
Thanks Again

Sure no problem... So for the first question. You have to send Google assistant a message. So on the bottom right corner of the Convo list click new message icon and chose Google assistant.
2nd question download this app.... It works perfect and will give you Google assistant but you need root.

Unfortunately, you cannot get Google Assistant to work in the same way as it does on the Pixel without rooting. Downloading Allo does not activate Google Assistant through your Google app, it simply lets use it server-side. To enable true Google Assistant, either root or wait a few weeks. Google has stated that they are officially releasing Assistant on all phones with Android 6.0+ "soon".

You can use Freedom OS. There's google assistant which I'm using. You just need to select it in the Aroma Installer.
Hello
I would like to activate Google assistant in the Google app on my HTC One M7, but the option ist not available in the settings, although the phone meets the necessary technical specs. Installing the Google assistant app also is not possible.
Thanks for hints.
I have a huawei p30 pro that I bought in China and I changed the language to english and the region to where I live. The problem is that some parts of the phone are still in chinese such as the huawei assistant. I've tried to change it to google assistant but haven't had any success. Does anyone know how to change the phone from being chinese or replace the huawei assistant with the google assistant

What you can do is use ADB shell and remove this region related apps like smartcare, huawei default chinese keyboard, hivoice. and many others which are completly useless for non chinese people....this thread here shows you how to do it. -> https://forum.xda-developers.com/hu...w-to-remove-huawei-bloatware-vog-ele-t4014937
Hello,
Can anyone tell me where to get the Global/EU version of the X2 Pro? I have the CN thing, hardware is impressive, but soft is bad (not changeable launcher, missing Google services).
Has the Global/EU version different languages (German), can the Google assistant be reached with 'hey Google' and can the time history in Google maps be activated?
The Realme support doesn't help, they're just writing nonsense...

Hey, you can grab global version from Europe Amazon or from Europe realme site (just search it on Google), yes global realme have German language and many other, also Google assistant is set by default as voice assistant and you have all Google stuff from box without any need of rooting, unlocking etc. I don't know about "time history" but probably it is.
Just wait to be able to flash the EU to the CN Version.
