[Q] Problem on Startup

Hi, ive ran into a problem on the Note n7000 where when i start it up it shows the picture attached. and just keeps flashing that on and off the screen. i cant get into the phone to do anything. download mode works but recovery doesnt. if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
i cant link the picture but its of a android icon (with blue hex shape in center) and blue line below it.

Which ROM were you on? were you trying to upgrade maybe, give a little history. make sure you put your phone into charging now, as this trip could be long.

the phone was stock and a problem similar occured where the startup screen would keep flashing. i then rooted it with odin. im sorry i dont remember the Rom it was just a basic one.
Im wondering if any Rom is out there to just restore it. using Odin PC
also before when it first had the problem if i took the battery out and started it up it would work then freeze and do the same problem. now i cant get into the phone at all.
i believe my brother tried to update it(its is phone.) and thats when this happened.

download stock rom for your country or any other country from here:

only if you do not want to backup anything.
Make sure you phone is charged enough. Put the phone into download mode and flash the downloaded file. Same link also has method for how to flash.

its unlocked. i believe(99% sure) otherwise its Bell

im a little confused. can you tell me which to download exactly? ssn is N7000GSMH i dont want to mess it up.
Also how do i flash the ROM i cant find a .tar file

download for any country latest being for the month of April. Germany may be or US. and it is a zip file, after you download extract it and there be a tar.md5 or tar file. the whole process is mentioned in the same link i mentioned before.

it says this on the post you sent.
- Download ROM, and extract it to .tar file
do i save the whole archived file as .tar? still downloading the germany file. but i had downloaded other custom roms and none have a .tar file in them. if so how do i do it?

use winrar or 7 zip. Right click on the zip file, go to extract files and you should have .tar file. Open Odin and click on PDA and browse to the .tar file. The custom roms are CWM Flashable so they are zip files only.

URGENT HELP Stuck at Boot screen

Today I bought an ATT galaxy s6 edge for about $350, I was told it wouldn't boot past the powered by Android screen. I thought it would be an easy flash in odin. So I flaBootscreem ock 0I2 firmware and it passed successfully. But it still won't pass the Samsung logo. I've tried a few other methods people have posted. Like wipe data and cache but it still won't work. Now I feel bad that I spent the money on a paperweight. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you try to flash the latest firmware, with all 4 files via odin?

I tried OI2 which is what is on it. And I did flash all 4 files. I'll try the newest one. But I believe the efs file is corrupted

Ok, can you get to the recovery in the phone? Tell me if you see anywhere in the bottom "dm verify verification failed".

Yes it does say that at the bottom. I'm in the process of trying to sell it as I don't have the time right now to deal with it. But if its something simple I can download to fix I would. As I also don't have home Internet all download are through my carrier

Oh then its really easy, reflash latest software via odin with the 4 files. In options tab make sure you select the clean efs folder and there you go my friend

Yes, I took it into a store and they flashed it for me. The only problem is the efs folder is corrupt and I don't have an imei number and have to manually connect to my carrier, also there's a battery drain

Alternative downloads for stock roms

Sammobile is having server maintenance so I am unable to download any files from there, any other way to get them?

Minimal Rom

Hi guys,
I have a D5833 with:
- Boot Unlock
- Unrooted
- Stock Rom 23.5.A.291 flashed by Flashtool
I simply can't figure out which rom do I need to flash to root this device.
Every FTF Rom that I found is hosted at mega but I haven't an account so I can't download it.
Also every root's thread that I read, I follow the instructions but the device is still unrooted.
Even inside the flashtool I already tried to use any older rom but after that my device bricks.
Can anyone help me?

The first thing you have to do is flash a .575 rom, you can find it in the firmware's thread. Then I can help you with rooting your phone.
And man, with mega you don't need an account to download a file, you just have to click "download with browser" (the grey button) when you are at the download page. If it can't help just create a mega account and download it.

But I need the FTF version of this rom and I'm looking for it about 2 days without success.
About mega, every time I try to download I get a message that the limit expired because every rom has more than 1gb
I already try to create an account and download it but to me this message appears every time I try

Firmware not available to download anymore

Hey everyone, the firmware I'm looking for (PRA-LX1C432B100) is not available anymore on the internet, I can't find the update.zip of this version and my phone is now stuck in bootloop.
What should I do, I asked the Huawei technical support but they can't give me the file.
Can someone help me?

Go to P10 forum, find tutorial for REDLOTUS, it's a new tool.. follow the instructions on Github, and try to flash B110 that way.
