what you need depends on how you made brick.
this forum has "stock-ish" roms already. What kind of brick are you stuck with?

If it isn't listed here, it's likely not been made available yet,

Don't downgrade or you will likely brick. And don't flash other carrier firmware either, or you could have other issues.
Why would you want to unroot? If it's for warranty repair, There's no point... They will see you've unlocked your bootloader no matter what you do.

I'd just want confirmation from others that flashing the EU version worked for them first. If you flash it and end up with issues, you'll be stuck if there's no version for your device. Again, with no downgrading.

is it possible to re lock the boot loader and get back warranty?
umm... naah... although there is a way to remove the warning sign in the boot...
in the moto x, its impossible to relock the bootloader
You can relock the bootloader, but it will show as "relocked".... Not locked as it originally was.

Need exact link for 5.2 xt1052 asia....
I have some previous experience with flashing ROMs, but from other devices, such as HTC Desire, Nexus 7 (2012 WiFi) etc. Unlocking the bootloader of Nexus 7 was pretty easy and I was able to flash ROMs afterwards. But what is the procedure for LG L90? I've seen some bootstacks which I don't know what they exactly are. I bought the phone with V10d-EUR-XX firmware and it was fully stock. Then I got an OTA update to V20a-EUR-XX (LP 5.0.2). I'm still fully stock. What should I do to unlock the bootloader in this situation to be able to flash a recovery and ROMs? I have the D405 (without NFC) variant of the phone.
Thanks in advance.
Follow this link but dont use its files.. They maybe outdated and not for your bootstack (v20a)..

Go here for updated custom recovery and check 2nd post for aboot.bin updated to v20a bootstack

If you already have unlocked bootloader and custom recovery installed make a backup of your ROM and try flashing other ROMs here at xda.. Its your best bet to see if works on your phone

Hi all! I recently got a Huawei P9 vodafone branded (L09C02B123) and I am very happy with it. I wanted to ask if there is a safe unlock bootloader and root guide for this version or do I have to de-brand it? And if I wanted to unroot the device can I go back to the vodafone version as it first was? And since I don't like the MIUI software (the only downside) when will the CM 13 roll out to the device?
Thanks

Hi.
Please download the SRK Tool. It can do almost anything you need on your phone.
Wrt the custom ROM, you asked, unfortunately we only have one custom ROM and one slim ROM atm.
What i did was, root, debloat the ROM myself, flash a 3rd party launcher, and flash the L Speed app from Play store.

Thanks for the answer. Your method is smart but do you know when Cyanogenmod will be launched?

Cyanogen Mode is quite different from stock version of the p9 software or variants of it. Drivers would be a great issue in that way. Since the Kirin 955 processor is relatively new and not as common as Quallcom's Snapdragon, there would be a long long way to see a Cyanogenmod for our p9s.
However it is a job for ambition and determination. So, who knows maybe one of the great developers around will take a step forward
Hi guys again, I remember I am running the EVA-L09C02B123 which is a vodafone branded version. Can I root this version? I heard that you need to de-brand it first. Is it true?
You can root it without de-branding but you must unlock the bootloader first. That's going to trigger a factory reset, so back up your stuff.

Hi Guys,
Just bought a new Lenovo K3 Note K50-t3s and I wonder if you can guide me with rooting, installing TWRP and a new rom, preferably Android 6.0 that does not cmpromise the camera quality.
Thank you in advance
Did you buy it from a Hong Kong based eBay seller?

I bought on tinydeal, EU warehouse
Hellooooooooooooooooo
Hello, I bought a K50 and it came with Marshmallow installed. I didn't find any bloatware so I assume that it's the stock ROM.
So if you can upgrade yours to Marshmallow you don't really need to root your phone. Unless you want to use some apps that absolutely requires your phone to be rooted.
The only reason for which I rooted my previous phone is to extend the internal memory using Link2sd and a SD card, but Android 6.0 lets me do it in a natural way.

Did you manage to install a K50-t5 rom on it?
Reading on web some say if you succed in installing a t5 rom ROW (Rest Of World) then you'll be able to use all the frequencies, even 4G for Wind too..
I have the same phone. I tried a couple of roms. The Android 6 version of Cyanogenmod, I couldn't see the SIMs. Now I have the S433 rom. The problem with this one is that SIM 2 only works on 2G.

Yes there is way to determine stock firmware that was installed before flashing custom ROM..
There is 2 partitions,
utags and utagsBackup
This both contains same information, dump them and use text viewer or hex viewer to open it..
(May be this information will be true only if you have not flashed any stock firmwares??)
