[Q] Low Microphone Gain

Hello everyone, I'm relatively new to android.I am currently using an SXL as a temporary phone until my replacement iPhone arrives and I'm having some trouble with it.
During calls I find that I can hear the other party loud and clear but they can hardly hear me.I have to cup the base of the phone and talk into it to be audible to the other party.
I'm using a Vodafone Australia SXL in India with carrier BSNL.
It's running the latest official ROM for Vodafone Australia with Android 4.0.3,S-On and locked bootloader.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance !
Also, the audio when I'm using speaker phone or using the voice recorder on the phone the microphone volume is at a good level.
I'm guessing this has something to do with the noise cancelling mics?
Is there any way to disable them ?

k3 note android 6.0 low calling volume

Lenovo k3 Note Headset volume call volume is too low
i always need to put on speaker to talk on phone
cant listen in headset mode ..
i have installed mkt mode but i need to know which values i need to change
to increase calling volume.
thanks in advance..!
I have this problem as well.
The same problem exists in my father-in-law's device as well. We tried tweaking the parameters internally from the MTK Engineering mode, but it did not improve. Tomorrow I'm going to try some more stuff. I'm pretty sure it is not the hardware.
As per his reports, things are weird. He says that generally via BSNL sim only the volume is low. It is generally fine via the other sim (Jio). I also have to swap the cards and check.

Oreo and LDAC support

Hi guys,
I have a question concering LDAC on OOS 5.0 or other custom roms.
I just bought me some 1000xm2 Headphones and thought i can just update my Phone to Oreo and will be able to get some high quality bluetooth music. But it looks like LDAC isnt working. Someone mentioned libaries are missing. U can choose it on the bt audio settings but it wont work.
So is there a workaround for this problem or any custom rom that supports LDAC?
Thx in advance

Hi,
Apparently LDAC codec in OP3T Oreo ROM is working, just it displays wrong information on developer settings
Just now I try my luck to find 1000XM2 but instead of that i found 1ABT, since that one is also LDAC capable so I tried that
Guess what, the Bluetooth codec show in developer settings is show wrong
aptx and aptxHD doesn't included inside the ROM, but LDAC does loaded (see the logcat I captured at attachment, first one is aptx and aptxHD can't load due to lib missing, second one is LDAC is indeed working properly)
But still I do hope that xda would bring this issue up since this is the serious matter that Qualcomm did put OnePlus 3 and 3T on aptx codec enabled device, but then they didn't implement due to "cause prohlem"? This sounds weird for me
Ok, thx for your answer, will try it 2morrow.
Cheers,

Mi 8 Low Bluetooth Volume

Hello Everyone!
So after changing from iPhone 8 Plus i bought an Mi 8 , brand new , and using Oneplus Bullets Wireless.
I've noticed that the Bluetooth audio is so low that i can hear others better, than my music.
De paired, re paired the devices, activated Absolute Bluetooth Volume, tried restating the phone, i made my region To India, tried everything what i can find on the web, but still no changes.
Is there any Kernel or Rom which removes this feature? I'm using the latest MIUI i would stick with the original Rom so a kernel fix would be great. If its cant be fixed by kernel can you guys link me a good rom to use?
Thanks.

I had this problem.
I downloaded R.E. equaliser from the Playstore.
Now my Bluetooth volume and speaker volume are great.
I used the presets but turned the gain up,that's all.
This is a great equaliser for people like myself who aren't rooted,a couple of pounds to buy but well worth it.

Bought the re equalizer and the issue of low volume is still there..
Also region change did not help...
Any other solutions?

Dual Bluetooth Audio Output (Same audio playing on two Bluetooth devices)

I am hoping someone can take on the project to write a mod that allows Pixel 5, Android OS 12, to play audio on two separate Bluetooth devices at the same time like Samsung. I recently bought a Woojer Strap Edge for audio haptic feedback, it connects wired or via Bluetooth. I use Bluetooth headphones and Pixel 5 does not allow audio output to two Bluetooth devices at the same time even though the hardware is capable of it. Is there anyone that has the know how to reverse engineer Samsung's Dual Audio Playback and make a mod to unlock these features on Pixel 5 Android OS 12? Or is there a known fix for this already?
Nothing in developer options allows this to work, I have played with all of those functions already.
I greatly appreciate any help, I know that this is an issue for many people across many devices, a broad fix would be fantastic if possible. I am not a code engineer, so not even sure if this is possible. All info will be helpful. Please let me know if you need any further information from me.
