i have a problem with one p10 lite, the phone is a demo unit.
i manager to get rid of demo stuff, now it runs original software, but when the phone starts it does not ask nothing like stock android (google account, security setting, location permission etc ), it goes straight into phone menu.

Hello
I have a Huawei P9 Plus. With Android 6 there was a setting available under Battery Manager called Protected apps for allowing apps to keep running after the screen is turned off. I have now updated my phone to Android 7.0 and I cannot find this setting anymore.
Does somebody know where I can set the protected app setting in Android 7?

Hey guys, I’m a new android user here.
If been trying to bypass this frp lock on this HUAWEI P9, because my uncle forgot the password for it. I’ve tried multiple methods, like using talkback, to open google, but I’ve come about a plethora of issues.
-I’m unable to open privacy policy of YouTube, so can’t open chrome(it doesn’t do anything)
-Google Chrome doesn’t open, so I can’t download go launcher or apex launcher.
-hyperlinks don’t open, so can’t open chrome.
-tried to email myself “quick shortcut maker” when I used the share option in a YouTube video. I’m unable to download the quick shortcut maker for no reason(stays at 0% then exits)
-google play doesn’t open and instead goes to input “verify your google account” page.
-I did reach settings by google voice in google maps, but apps and accounts tab don’t open, and system tab isn’t there.
So now I’m think maybe I can’t rollback or reinstall android to remove the lock. Does it work like that?
I have Android nougat, and EMUI 5.0.3
Build is EVA-L09C432B504.
Android update security level is July 1, 2018
I have no clue about “oem” or “bootloader” being unlocked. Can someone explain it to me and if possible, downgrade this phone to remove the lock? I have an sd card. Also, the phone isn’t recognized on my laptop. I had HiSuite installed, but still didn’t recognize it. What am I doing wrong here?
Someone please help and explain it to me, this is why I use iPhones instead lol.
You could reset the Google password from PC and/or another phone if the account was linked to a phone number or another mail.
Otherwise FRP (Factory Reset Protection) is too firm to be tricked by rolling back pr so.
There were couple of users who claimed that they bought (P9) phones over Internet where sellers (?!) did not remove accounts before shipping, and the only way to get rid of the previous Google accounts and the corresponding protection was to use paid service (it worked) by DC Phoenix/Unlocker:
https://www.dc-unlocker.com/DC-Phoenix-flash-repair-tutorial
Ministry of Solutions might be cheaper but they usually require (for unbricking and so) TeamViewer remote connection to your PC (DC gives you the PC tools and you have to work on your own):

If you are really a freak you could open back+cover, and use Testpoint connections for low-level reflashing the phone. I know only of one guide but for Mate 9:

Hello
After my update on my P30 pro to emui 10 everything work perfect except one thing. Some hidden apps like plug ins and hisuite icon appear on my mobile screen as application and am clicking on them I just going to the information of the app. Is this a bug of the update or I have to do something from settings?
Hi to all. I was hoping that in the Android 10 update, we would be able to get global dark mode. But it seems like Xiaomi reserves this function to the top end phones. So, I was asking if there is any other way to enable this, because, for example, I remember in my previous phone (Galaxy J3 2016), that with LineageOS 14.1 and a command in adb, I could force dark mode, and I remembered the google app, google traductor and even google maps in dark mode. If anyone fount the way to do this, without any custom rom, please, tell me, because it's horrific be in night, with a low brightness level, and open a white app.
Regards
I don't know about you, but since I got the Android 10 update (MIUI 11.0.1.0) all my google apps automatically switched to dark mode
its been available on xiaomi-EU multi_MI9Lite_ weekly Since - 20.3.19_v11-10 , so i am assuming the next official update should have it.
i tried it on 20.3.19 , when you enable dark mode it automatically makes all apps dark/dark mode (even ancient non google apps) , but its either on or off , no whitelist / blacklist some older apps look a bit weird , however .. :
In the XiaomiEU 20.3.26_v11-10 update you also have the option to choose the apps you don't want dark mode applied to once it is enabled from display settings.
for me dark mode is a must also , i know what you mean.
so i guess its a waiting game for the next official MIUI update..
