Can't unlock bootloader - Huawei P10 Questions & Answers

Hi guys, I've been trying to get the bootloader unlocked on my new p10 but I can't seem to get to the webpage where I can get the unlock code...
I registered a new Huawei account but can't seem to find the page to get the unlock code.
Can anyone please help me figure this out?

Check this link.
http://www.stechguide.com/unlock-bootloader-of-huawei-devices/

Well it's kind of progress.... When I go there and log on it gives me a notification that my location is not the same as what's on my account and then when the next page loads, it's just an error 404.
I think it may have something to do with me being in Ireland and not being able to create an id for Ireland (or even the UK for that fact). I even tried using a GPS spoofer and made it look like I'm in China and then set up a new bogey email and registered a new account and STILL got error 404 when I logged in. FML
Thanks for trying. Any other ideas?

Hi I live in Sweden i gave up to try that and call the service center in Sweden and they gave me the unlock code but varn me about the warranty would be void

I just checked there are no official service centers in Ireland, only 3rd party service centers, so I emailed Huawei service instead. Hopefully that will yield a result.
Thanks for the help!

Just got the unlock code from the service team. Now I just have to find a PC to run the unlock command!

Hi, what email adress have you used in order to request your code?
I requested it to the service of my country but they reppied they are not able to give me the code. :/

I used my regular email address and, no offence, but I'm not giving you that. If they won't give you an unlock code then they probably have a reason for it.

They said it represent security issues and voids warranty but thankyou for judging me.

I wasn't judging you. What I meant was that they probably have a reason for not allowing unlocked bootloaders in your country. It was nothing personal so I'm sorry if you took it that way.
Try again using a different email maybe. All I did was go to the Huawei site for my country, go to the service page, then click on the "contact us" section.
Give it another try with a different email. Hopefully you'll get someone who will give it to you because I was told about the loss of warranty also but they still gave it to me.

Link to get 16 digit is not working
Link for huawei website is not working. How I can unlock bootloader. Is there any other way around?

Google Now

Hi, I dont know if it's me but When I want to call someone with google now it just search what I said on the web it doesnt recognize what I want Exemple: When I say Call Daniel .......... it just show call daniel on google search and Show me link on google. But my friend it is caling when he say this. I'm on stock JB AT&T not rooted sim unlock . In Canada .
Can you help me?
Not sure if you figured this out yet, but open Google Now and select the three-dot menu from the lower right corner. Go to Settings then Phone Search. In there Make sure you have allowed GN to access your phone contacts. If that box is already checked and you still have no luck I'm afraid you may be SOL. Good luck, friend!

Can't unlock bootloader (no email from moto)

Anyone else run into the problem of not receiving an email from Motorola with the bootloader unlock code? This is super frustrating.
Mine showed up under the 'promotions' tab, check there?

Mine took forever to show up. I gave up and it was there the next morning

I am having the same frustration. Checked in Spam, Promotions and any other area that I could. I submitted mine last night. Although after I submitted for it, it never reverted to another page though and was just a blank webpage. I have no idea if that has anything to do with it at all.
Yeah I'm going on 4 days now. And I've used two different moto x's on three different computers with 3 different browsers. FML. I'm just returning the phones to Motorola. I'm tired of this crap.
Oh wow that stinks! Wish I could help. I did mine on a Saturday afternoon and literally got the email within minutes of requesting it.
Did you try to resubmit ? Maybe a different email?
Yeah, its odd if it isn't instant. Mine have all been there as fast as I could switch browser tabs. There have been times the website has gimped though, so maybe the email portion has been down when you requested the keys.

i guess you could always just call them and they can figure it out. stupid question but maybe you were signed into a google account that you didn't think you were when you clicked on the button to sign in with your google account... i don't remember it telling me what account i actually signed in with or if it told me what email it was sending it to. but i just did it less than a week ago and it was instant. maybe their servers are screwy or something.
i know someone already said it but there is a junk email box in gmail. didn't notice it before i was looking for an email that didn't come. but clearly you already probably checked that. just thought id mention it.
just thought of this, might not matter at all. but maybe the phone needs to be connected to motorola device id or something. wouldn't make sense that it would matter but i had my motorola device id connected to my google account before i tried to get the code. just another idea.

Would the "junk" folder your referring to be the same as the "spam" folder in Gmail? Sorry but is the Motorola Device id stuff in the Moto Care app? I don't have my X set up with the thing of clearing my phone from the Motorola site. Is that what you are referring to?

i have a spam and a junk folder. I don't know why both of them exist but they both do. By motorola device id i didn't mean being able to clear stuff from motorola. that probably needs to be set up in some motorola app that i don't use. i was referencing:
settings>Motorola Device Id (found under the personal heading on the verizon moto x).
when you click that it asks if you want to connect your phone to your google account. Like i said, i doubt it matters at all for getting the unlock code. it shouldn't anyway. but i figured id mention it just in case it does for some odd reason.
edit: just realized the junk folder i was referencing only gets email in it if you tag something as junk. so yes the spam folder was the correct folder i was meaning to say, not the junk folder.
I had that problem of not receiving the email from motorola when I was requesting the code via Motorola's website for my country (Brazil). When I tried using Motorola's USA website I got the email immediately. So try using the website for another country. You don't need a proxy, just change the location on the bottom of the site (http://www.motorola.com/sites/country-selector/index.html)
Ok I finally got it to work. I signed up for another Google account, and logged into the Moto site using the new Google account. I went through the unlock procedure and it worked first time no problem. I have no idea what's wrong on Moto / Google's end and why the emails got lost in space.

hi ya
thank you very much for taking the time to reply mate its much appreciated. to flash stock rom my device needs to be rooted? its not rooted at the moment.
You are stock, locked without a tampered tag in bootloader? If so, you can call HTC if the online chat option doesn't work. Your phone still within the warranty period? Unless you know what you are doing, I highly suggest against rooting the phone if HTC can fix the issue for you. It isn't normal for GP services to disappear like that. It is on a protected section of the phone (unless you are unlocked).

well its out of warranty. i will call htc the online chat is not working atm. i have no idea about software atm. thank you very much for your advice.

I was curious by this too, but unsure if someone would do. Unless I'm mistaken you'd need to log in to their account via your PC as part of the process is to connect via USB to commence the unlock. Plus your phone number would need to be associated with their account, which may mean they'd need to add yours and/or remove theirs to allow this.
Would be curious to see if this was possible but hey 2 weeks isn't tooooo long to wait I guess......well, I'm itching to root but all in good time
Good luck!

Are you 100% sure? I had an old miui account from ages ago and when I tried to unlock this new device it prompted an error that my number wasn't associated with the account. I had to add the number to my account, boot my phone back up and add my account to my device via developer settings etc.
Perhaps it's possible but indeed this was my experience!
Though just checking, maybe the account just needs a phone number, not necessarily the actual device phone number intended to be unlocked....

Has anyone successfully flashed the global ROM on a Chinese device? If so, does it add Google integration as if it were a Global device to begin with? Debating with myself on whether to wait for the blue Global version to come out and be available to those of us in the US, or just buy the Chinese version and flash it with the global ROM after the unlock waiting period.
I'm interested in this...
Mine is 5 years account and Mi 9 is global version, but it was 360 hours.
I want to test and build roms asap:crying:
I'm also interested in the instant unlocking. I have to wait 360 days... Any help?
Hello, unlocking the bootloader causes troubles with apps like Netflix, google pay or Amazon Prime? I want to unlock the bootloader to install the global beta but I'm worried about loosing Netflix services.
Sorry for my bad English.

How to register for a vivo account on the phone?

I live in the US. Does anyone know how to register for a vivo account on this phone? I’ve been going back and forth with vivo but, they’re no help at all. I think if you’re living in the US like me this phone is basically useless to you. Which sucks cause I think I’m going to have to return the phone.

If it’s Chinese version then no real way to register unless you know someone in China you trust who can register on their sim.

You can register by email over the Internet.. And then just log in from your phone
Jup, I can confirm that. Have a Nex 3 for a weekend now, and there are some querks in the procedure but it is quite easy to get a Vivo account up and running on the phone. A few of these querks were:
First, on the registrationpage don't forget to click "Send" to let Vivo actually send you the verificationcode, I assumed that it got send after I click Next, but on the page thereafter there is a Send button which you shouldn't forget.
Then it all worked smoothly.
On the NEX 3, in settings, I went to login, and encoutered the +86 requirement again, but there is an "Account password login" option in a grey-ish colour which you should use in order to get to the Email sign-in option. Then just put in password and off you go!
On a sidenote, I can confirm it does allow me to change the launcher!

My modelnumber is V1923A and my software version is PD1923_A_1.12.6. I read somewhere that distinguishing the global from the chinese version is the addition of some "EX"part in them software version, and since I don't have that I assume I got the chinese version.
And yep, running Microsoft Launcher fluently now!

Yes, you can try.
In the past when I was using MIUI Roms on my devices, I had to manually disconnect the MIUI account before flashing another version, because the system would detect that the phone had another account attached to it and wouldn't let me use a new account. However I have no idea if Vivo has something similar since this will be my first Vivo phone and I haven't used FuntouchOS roms.
