Hello everyone,
I have a weird issue with my P10 and my cheap USB-C earphones.
Problem: Media plays normally through the earphones, but they are not recognized for calls (can't hear the call or speak through the mic)
The headphones are LeEco CDLA Type-C earphones, I like them.
Does anybody have any idea how to make them work for calls?
Bump, anyone have any ideas?
Same problem with Pixel+Essential HD USB headphones
Could it be because of the USB Audio Class?

I'm searching a cable/adapter with a mic and a 3.5mm jack where I can connect a classic stereo headphones.
The reason is to use my in-ear monitor (without mic) to answer to the calls when I'm listening music.
I've found this one:

Anyone I've tried it?
Do you know a similar connector working on the Samsung Ace (or Galaxy)?
Today I've received this adapter: it works fine and finally I can use my expensive in-ear monitors for both music and calls.
windows phone 8 heuawei h883g straight talk tracfone has no sound at all. Earpiece, mic, speaker, headphones do not work. It works fine with blutooth. Anyone else had this problem or a fix?
I fixed by removing the headphone jack off the board.
I'm considering pick up a Z3 Compact, and was wondering if anyone could tell me if you could listen to music via the headphone jack and have bluetooth connected for phone calls at the same time. I know that the Galaxy S3, for example, cannot do that, while HTC phones can.
Just so it's clear, this is what I'd like to do:
Headphone jack connected to car stereo's aux in for music, navigation audio, etc.
Bluetooth connected to car for hands free phone calls.
(My car is a few years old and can't do music over bluetooth.)
Can the Z3 do it?
Thanks!
Just tested with the sbh52 and Vizio sound bar auxiliary port.
Works just as you desire. When answering a call, the audio cuts from the headphone jack and routes to the Bluetooth device automatically. This occurs whether you answer from the phone or Bluetooth device. Upon hanging up, the music resumes playing and can be controlled with your Bluetooth device.

My USB-c to audio dongle does not work with AUX in my car on my Mi8
I used the same AUX with my old phone - Mi 5s on the regular headphone jack and it worked fine. I tried it yesterday with the dongle adapter that came with the mi8 but it does not work. I just hear some weird noise and the phone recognizes that there is something connected to it because the song stops if you pull the dongle or the aux cable out.
The dongle works with my headphones so it is not a faulty dongle. It just does not work with the aux in my car, can anyone explain or anyone had similar issues?
I suspect it has something to do with the amplifier or digital to audio converter....
Is there a solution for this? Is anyone familiar with this because there are mixed reviews and opinions on usb-c to audio.
Same problem. Any solution?
Hi,
When I plug my cable earphones using the included usb plug adaptor, seems that the Mi9 cancels the Mic, both the mic from the earphones and the mic from the phone.
For example when playing PUBG, I can hear but can't tak bc mic is cancelled ... is there any way that the mic, at least of the phone is not muted when earphones connected with cable?
Thanks!!
