I have a P10lite LX1AC02B120 and I want to rebrand to C432 and transform it into a Dual SIM one, I read many thread but I didn't find a solution.
First idea:
change OEMINFO with a dual SIM C432 through TWRP then reflash the original recovery for the C432 and then install the latest firmware b182 with the three button method. Could it work? I read that the recovery do some check is it true? Do I need a recovery from a build earlier than b182 or it's not important?
Second idea:
change OEMINFO with a dual SIM C432 through TWRP than flash with fastboot BOOT.img and SYSTEM.img that I have previously extracted with Huaweii extractor. In this case I will not erase all my data. Does somebody already tried it? Will I brick my phone?
Thanks

After 5 hour of search I have decided to change C900 To C432 (Europe) beacause Europe have fast update.
I used the SRK Tools for changing oeminfo but at the end of the SRK Script "failled command not allowed" it my P9 reboot and asked me Password (Google) and I was thired i write my P9 password ^^
So it asked me a reset and now:
I'm on EVA-L09V900B121
Unlocked Bootloader
Red warning => Your device has failed verification and may not work properly (not the Yellow)
Standard Recovery (not the e-recovery) and impossible to flash TWRP
My phone works but I fail x)
So I loose Root and Recovery
How I can go TWRP back and change oeminfo?
FIXED ==> I don't konw why my bootloader are locked and the P9 says Unlocked but after a another unlock it works
hi i have same problem if u have answer help me plz
Hi Guys,
i really need your help. I debranded and flashed my P9 to a c432b167 firmware using the SRK Tool. But now im unable to downgrade to b136 (to be able to get the b170 OTA).
After i unzipped the full b136 to my SDCard und trying to flash it with the 3-Button Method, im always get an Error at 5%: "Software install failed! - Incompatibility with current version. Please download the correct update package."
Also the full b170 brings the same Error.
I would be very happy if someone could help me
Thanks in advance
mike
i would like to know this too cause whenever i tried to flash a firmware i get the same error.
hope someone can help.
Okay, i was able to solve the problem by myself. Here is what i did:
Using the SRK Tool i reopened the bootloader, installed the twrp recovery and rooted the P9. Then i flashed the c432 oeminfo again. Right after this i was able to flash the c432b136 using the stock recovery without getting the error. When the p9 rebooted i recieved the c432b170 OTA.
Hi, I have problem. I have two Huawei P9. One is L19 and the other is L09.
My L19 is the C900
My L09 I do not remember what it is ... the problem is that it is no system, it only turns on fastboot recovery mode. I've tried combo keys with dload but it does not work or does not recognize. By Hisuite says that the model is not supported. Finally I tried the Firmware Update program by hajuuk https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9-plus/development/huawei-p9-p9-plus-firmware-updater-t3435878 I used several firmwares inside the L09 option but in the middle of the installation it gives error.
I need to find a way to enable the OEM so I can flash boot.img, recovery.img and system.img because I can not flash anything at the momento because it gives the Not Allowed command.
The status is Bootloader locked and FRP locked.
I do not know what to do, I have no ideas.
So... In my quest to rebrand my Optus Australia (L09C34) to the global Asia (L09C636) version I backed up my oeminfo and custom.bin using the SRK Tool and using that tool I changed the oeminfo and custom.bin to C636, however what I didnt noticed till after I flashed the C636 oeminfo was it was infact for a L19C636, since it was too late and I was thinking that the only difference was dual sim and NFC, it should still boot up and work without any issue and after rebooting it and did a factory reset, it worked fine minus NFC.
So for me to return everything back to normal, I used the SRK Tool to restore the L09C34 oeminfo and custom.bin that I backed up earlier and this is where everything went sour. I rebooted the phone like you are suppose to but instead of booting into the system, it tried but then force closes and then reboots and then it goes straight to TWRP recovery. I tried rebooting a few times and it just keeps force closing and then going back into TWRP. So I think the oeminfo and custom.bin is screwed and because of this, the system does not know what it is exactly.
So what I have tried is wiped cache and do a factory reset but I got nothing but red errors, cant remember exactly what it said but along the line of unable to mount data. I have also tried to do a recovery via Fastboot and connecting the phone to the computer and runing HiSuite but because HiSuite have no idea what model it is, it just fails to locate a recovery image.
Now I am thinking of doing 2 things but not too sure what I should try first since I dont want it to get any worse than it is. I was thinking of flashing the oeminfo from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/stock-rom-dload-file-p9-eva-l09-b136-t3382818. It has a flashable oeminfo on it and also flash the EVA-L09B136 that goes with it. My other option is to try and flash NewWorld 7 directly from TWRP and hope that fixes it. I am worried about flashing the stock recovery in case there is no way of going back to TWRP.
So I am asking for some advice from you guys, maybe someone who was able to get past this problem with the oeminfo and custom.bin issue. I count myself lucky that Fastboot still works and I got TWRP that is also functioning correctly. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this and get the P9 working again is much appreciated.
Hi Z-Blade.
Come from the same stock Optus phone but been trying to get mine to C432. Soft bricked about 5 times. Got into very similar to position to you when I tried to TWRP flash a C432 rom that promised to give me stock B182. Got to the horror the red errors and screens that take me nowhere useful. Think I switched off and it found a system to boot into to. Your situation is probably different. What I will say about Paul O"Brien's oeminfo files and B136 is that it one of the few things that has consistently given me back a functioning phone and not done any harm. For what it is worth I think it might be the safest option. There are quite a few other things in the SRK tool but I lake the expertise to advise on that. Good luck. Bazzan
Yesterday I unlocked my bootloader. With the unlocking offline bootloader will follow a reset off the phone. Niente i have a problem: after the reset the FRP option return locked and i can't unlock It in anticipo ways (from developer option is gray). Now i can't flash anything from adb with also the bootloader unlocked.
EDIT:
Why u cant flash anything from adb?
Did you only unlock your bootloader? Or have you rooted your phone too?

you need to return to marshmallow firmware probably its B136 for you.
1.Flash Rollback Package via dload.
2.Flash B136 firmware via dload.
3.Boot up your phone an check if FRP status is LOCKED. (It need to stay locked)
4.Update to B182 via OTA.
5.Update to Nougat via ota or via dload.
6.Unlock Bootloader
7.Install TWRP https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/twrp-t3565703
8.Flash SuperUser https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/root-supersu-2-81-emui-5-t3612258
Basically its this guide: https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/guide-debranding-to-c432-updating-to-t3551523
But this guide will change your OEMINFO (debrand to EU version C432) but this is not bad for future updates.
But this guide is for EVA-L09.
