I got my pre-ordered unlocked N8 from Samsung on 08/12. I did not order Premium Care when checking out. I wanted to add it but when I open Samsung+ application, it is showing the device being out of warranty. Pretty weird for a brand new phone. I called several times and got the run around. Finally today a case was opened and I was promised that someone would get in touch with me next week.
If you have an unlocked N8, can you please go into the Samsung+ application, click on the menu and under My Products click on the "Samsung Galaxy Note 8". What do you see?
Standard limited warranty. Unlocked, no premium care.

Ugh...the lady that opened the case for me said I wasn't the first one she came across. Hopefully they can get it resolved.
I have the same issue as you, figured I'd check in a week or so since I figured it was some glitch in their system.
Called 3 times, case escalated, no solution. Until I chatted with Samsung support on Facebook Messenger and the guy suggested unregistering the device from Samsung account and re-registering it. Lo and behold, it's magically showing being under warranty now
I have the same issue, how do you unregister your device??
Here's my screenshot

Log into your account on Samsung.com, go to My Account, it will show your registered devices. Next to your Note 8 it will show the option to Remove this Product.

Same here, unlocked currently on Verizon.
It's basically a **** up with samsung's part. Mines had the same issue, except i had issues registering for Samsung care. They told me that my serial had no warranty info in the system and that's why it shows out of warranty. Mines went away when i added samsung care.
Everything looks good here.
can u give me the phone's infomation in the setting ? ex: build version, etc...
Seems like they gave me longer than 12 months. Was bought in Nov 2017.

So, will you be holding out for the second batch from the Play store or purchasing from somewhere else?
I've called Google a couple of times and been given no definite answer very vague in fact. 'Check online'
I've phoned and called into CarPhoneWarehouse local to me, 'N4, don't know, no idea'
Where else have you tried?
Dates for availability?
Prices?
I'm waiting oin mine to be dispacthed but I do believe Google are starting to say 2 weeks a lot more consistently in their emails. Not the greatest of info but I hope it's a start.. :good:
Well I didn't get one so I'm holding for the next Batch.
Went to my local CPW this morning they did have them in stock but they for contact only.
I did get to play around with one. I must say its a big stop up from the plastic galaxy nexus

I just through to a different CPW, one that actually had it in stock and new what it was.
He went away tp check and said they're not currently selling it SIM free and doesn't know if they will be, hasn't been communicated to them.

They will be selling it SIM-free, but they're not sure when. They're waiting for the green light from HQ and they're waiting for more stock to come in. Because they're not sure when they're selling they are also unsure of pricing. I have been told £349.99 directly but there are rumours it's going to be £389.99, as you can see from the graph above.

Got the Nexus 7 when first came out, had to be replaced because it was faulty and as soon I got this I put it inside a case and never seen the back of it again. Until today.
Never dropped it or opened it. I would like to get a pogo pin dock for it.
Has anyone seen anything like it?
Bought it from tesco UK, who should I contact for warranty?
Thanks

It's time for another replacement if you in fact want a pogo dock for it.
RMA, my friend, RMA.
[It makes me laugh. A lot.]
Yea RMA bro.
That being said, lol at the hole.
Beamed from my Maguro.

All your legal rights are against the retailer.
Sucks. Contact the retailer you bought it from.
Practical question: is there a POGO dock for this available? ...

If you want it sorted quickly, exchange it at the tesco direct collection desk (Tesco Extra stores). This is what I did and was hassle free.
At least here in the states local Walmart stores normally has a 15 day return policy. Besides Christmas time when they extend that time frame.
I am not sure how the return policies work in the UK. But if you are within the days they allow you to return an item. You should be able to exchange the device for new one.
If you are past the time they allow you to return an item. You have no choice but to send in the device under RMA.
If you bought the device through google you have to ask them for replacement. If you bought the device through a retail store you'll have to ask a Asus for replacement.
I hope this answers your question.

Hi everyone!
I just bought a note 4 on t mobile and also got my unlock code from cellularunlock. I saw a warning before getting the unlock code saying that I have to register the phone on the tmobile network before entering the code to unlock to avoid regional lock. So I popped in a tmobile sim but it says that it's not able to register to the network. Any idea?
Thanks!!

I just ran a IMEI check on tmobile's website and guess what the imei is blocked. I bought the phone from swappa. Now this is going to be a super cool situation...
Any of you guys happened to have issues with notes 4 from swappa?
Ok guys, so after some investigation I just found that the IMEI of the phone was reported as stolen. Awesome!
Fortunately I'm still in the PayPal's time frame of filing a dispute.
Do that and I would file police report on the other person for insurance fraud. It always a bad idea to use swappa when the phone is this new. Hope you kept screenshot of listing or printed the listing.

Swappa staff already know about it, seller's account is blocked and now I'm waiting to see what the seller has to say... Honestly, I'm very curious...
I'll update the thread as it goes so at least everyone will learn from my experience..

Swappa staff is at best OK. This happens a lot. Still would file a police report and get the ball rolling on criminal charges. I would also contact TMOBILE and fill them in. Get your refund and never buy from swappa when the phone is brand new. If you do ask seller to show you pay off letter stating phone was paid in full.

Yup... you kinda have to be careful buying on swappa...
Might be my OCD kicking in but here is my V2. Looks like the blue film isn't positioned correctly and is showing a small strip of the rose gold under the glass. It's bugging me a bit. It's a $940 device after all so I feel I should be 100% happy with it. I'm afraid this would affect resale value as well.

It's called a reflection.
As stated, it is a reflection...same reflection on mine.

It's not reflection guys. The other side does not have this problem. I'm going to return it. Im also having power charging issue. I'll just have to wait till they're available for sale again or exchange it if the store near me gets them.

I spoke to support earlier and they said they are allowing upgrade purchase for note 7 in their system again. So I would need to return my note 7 for a full refund and call customer service and do a phone upgrade again.

True I could do that too but I like the convenience of getting the phone sent to me, no restocking fee, and 20 day return period just in case. But if the store near my work has enough then I might walk in lol.

Update
Got my replacement and it's perfect. No imperfections so far and I just notice the old one had a pinkish screen. Also the new one came with the latest OTA and there's a pink round sticker on the box. Not sure what that's for.

Hi everyone,
Unfortunately my phone dropped and the back glass cover and primary camera glass are shattered.
I can change it by myself (from years i can repair my phones without sending it and wait days and days) but now i cannot find any replacement parts on the net.
Can anyone help me please?
The part is like this: https://www.samsung-parts.net/epages/Samsung-Parts.sf/en_GB/?ObjectID=1212377
Thank you!
You sadly will need to go through samsung or see if you can still add protection plan to carrier and then do claim few days after since you damaged it so early into launch. All the parts are going into devices still and nobody is parting out phones yet. Cant even get replacement sim trays etc from china yet.

Thank you so much for the reply. The only thing to do now is turn off the phone, turn on my note20u, and using it until in my supplier sites show on stock the replacement

On the site that i linked in the first post.
Original parts and accept paypal.
For me here in Italy is the best and reliable site
ItsTek on Amazon store I have found to be very good before with genuine Samsung parts. Bought two S20 and S20 Ultra rear glass from them before. I think you'll struggle for parts though on the S21 until at least a few more months.
